I have the iPad Air 4 and just received the magic keyboard case today. Ordered from Target and it was on promotion with them. I have always used the Logitech . I really like this a lot. I had been eyeing it at the Apple store for a long time, but really had hoped to find it cheaper. I am typing now with it and on my lap. It sits on my lap without any issues. I am impressed and am glad I purchased it. I also like the black.
I found the STM DUX shell for the ipad with magic keyboard. I like it. Reminds me of an otter box. It slips on over the ipad while connected to the keyboard. It also protects the pencil. It does make it heavy, heavier but is very well protected.
I’ve been using the iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard for 3 years now. First in white next in black. It’s been perfect for my needs as a video editor and animator. I have the freedom of a tablet and a laptop replacement when I need it. It is my main device even though I have a MacBook M1 that I use regularly as well. Overall, it’s the best tablet you could use. I paired it with the Magic Keyboard and mouse and trackpad from Apple so I have a full media key layout and much larger trackpad when it’s at my desk. Like you, I don’t take the white keyboard out of my house so it’s stayed very clean and stain free. Overall, it’s a very worthwhile purchase especially with the all white aesthetic.

Just needed to check out videos to decide if I should go for latest edition magic keyboard cover or 2020 version which is half price and on sale… as I have just got 5th generation 12.9 iPad Pro. Seems 2020 version works but is bit tight for latest iPad and trackpad bit better plus magnets stronger and closure softer on latest white version so enough procrastination I better just pay huge price tag and be done. My last iPad Pro lasted over 5 years so if this one does similar will be worth it. 😊
Hey Bro! You an actually change the brightness level of the backlight in settings. And the backlight turns on when the sensor in the camera detects a dark environment.
Hi Cole, you should try the PITAKA case for your iPad Pro, that thin enough protect the side of the iPad, and work perfectly with the magnetic field from the magic keyboard.

This is a good review pretty accurate everything you mentioned I agree. I have the black one but dropped water on keyboard so now have to change it and white one is cheaper. Looks super cute but was worried about the stains because I do carry it everywhere and mine does get dirty a lot. I do use my ipad as replacement for macbook pro and didn’t have any issues. (I also dropped water on my computer)
Great review, I last March got the 2020 12.9 iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard. I have to say opening it you might as well stand it on it’s end and open it like a book.I no doubt will get use to it and yeah a lap desk is helpful for the feet up relaxing position. With all the accessories I am right about $1700 so since I do not upgrade iPads every year I will be happy to use it for a few years.Thanks for the content

Explore the keyboard shortcuts setting bro... it might help if u dont intend to use much of the touchscreen during media. I dont have the MK but I use keychron k3
When you want to escape/enlarge a video, you dont have to click, then go to the bottom right… You can just use your thumb & pointer finger to pinch in/out, and it will do the same thing.
for me almost a year later using the white magic keyboard it doesnt stay clean it ends up not looking that nice clean white anymore it ends up looking all stained this is expected with most things that are white!

These would be some really nice changes. Not sure about the dedicated battery though, I really never notice it taking much away but I also think it’d make the build much thicker

Hey, thanks for the support! You can’t natively install steam games, so the only solution is remote play (which probably isn’t the best conserving her PC), or something like GeForce now. I used it while away a couple months ago on the iPad and it worked pretty well. I think it depends on how much she’d be using it for art and drawing. If only sometimes then I’d say MacBook Air is the way to go, as it’s cheaper than iPad + keyboard and isn’t as restricted by the OS

So after long hours of reviews i finally convinced my self to get the GOOJODOQ magic keyboard. Its not perfect but it cost only $100… id be so cool if u get to try and review it too! I also saw other alternative like ESR, DOQO, WIWU and BASEUS … wait i just remember the awesome one..from Brydge!
Pro Tip: Go to General -> Trackpad -> Tap to Click to silent tap mouse pad. No Noise anymore

It will drain the battery much quicker, but other than that it wont cause any damage. Leaving it attached is completely fine.

On my 11inch iPad Pro plus magic keyboard, my fingers hit the bottom edge of my iPad when I type. I don’t hear anyone else saying this.

No, it sucks but the only way to use the case is propped up with the keyboard
