One of the reasons why I often find speedruns and challenge runs of games kind of underwhelming is that they go out of their way to circumvent design; use cheese, dominant strategies, and in general present the gameplay in its most effective but least impressive light -- but this? This is basically the complete opposite; using everything at your disposal to present the most entertaining and impressive snapshot of the game's design in ways that make me want to download and play the game all over. I hope you keep making these, because I'll definitely be back for more.
That’s because this genre of video is an art form and speedruns are more of a competition. It’s a rare genre as far as I know.
I would love to agree with this instead of thinking "How's he gonna beat this" you think "what's he up too?" You don't know what he's thinking just like batman because his strategies are efficient AND flashy

19:39 I find it weird that they make a big deal about Barbra getting kidnapped and batman not telling Jim it's his fault, but don't talk about the fact she was *shot* and *crippled* because of him as well. 😂
I think Joker targets Barbra just because it was the commissioner's daughter and not the relationship with batman
She wasn't shot and crippled because of her relationship with Batman. She was shot and crippled because the Joker wanted to get to Gordon.

Joker says that he had no idea Barbara was Batgirl. She was shot because of her relationship to Gordon. Jason, on the otherhand, was very much a target because of Batman
But also let’s not forget that was just his mind playing tricks on him she never died anyways ngl i had to play the game plenty times to learn that whole scene was just his imagination !

You know I didn't like when Jason Todd came back in comics, but his actions as The Red Hood made logical sense for him. And it felt like *he* still considered himself part of the crew even if they were now at odds and things had changed around him. Like he was villainous, but you could see his point of view.
Jason Todd's actions as The Arkham Knight, in this game, completely changes the character. Now when he appears later as Red Hood it feels completely hollow compared to what he was doing earlier in the game. All the dead people, all the destruction as a result of his militia, especially the kidnapping of Barbara. He is now, just another scumbag with a tragic past who Bruce feels bad about punching.
Thats a fair point, I'm not sure how I feel about Red Hood but it feels very rushed in my opinion

Ah, yes, everyone knows that a lore accurate Batman has clairvoyance to know where the optimal rooftop lookout to plan his attack out will be and predicts the movements of henchmen like they are run by some sort of AI programming, efficiently moving into position before their preprogrammed routes do.
Makes me wanna do another playthrough. (I traditionally replay one of the Arkham games a year every Halloween or Christmas break.)

I just watched the first part after seeing it recommended, and I have to say this has been incredible so far. Honestly makes me wish more "high tier gameplay" videos would keep cutscenes and stuff in, to make it feel like a movie. I've been wanting to make stuff like that for a while, but on top of not being very good with video editing, I'm not the most advanced player for like, anything I play. Huge props to you, and I can't wait for the next part!

I always thought they should've already had white-eyes as the default Arkham suit.. But, change is sometimes acceptable. White eyes or not, Arkham is one of the greatest video game series ever created. RIP Kevin Conroy
