No matter how many times I see it, when I start to think where his mind must be going to as he's saying "Goodbye Alfred", coupled with the fantastic music, the sound-design, it still hurts my throat from containing manly tears. All that immediately followed by the Jumpscare, which I'm sure got at least 90% of us all the first time. F@ck anyone who says this game is trash.
Even where your camera is pointed is entirely accurate to Bruce's priorities in any scene, this is so engaging compared to normal playthroughs and the focus and commitment to the character is beyond commendable.

The combat in this is a perfect example of just how little you need plot armour for bats to be untouchable. With his equipment, just a moment's thought is all it takes; a smoke bomb here, an explosive distraction there, they never know what hits them.

You got me hooked from the very first dive. Grappling instead of gliding right away. It was a small detail but it had me hooked! It just looked badass. I usually glide after diving but the small unexpected move made me feel like I was watching the real Batman in action!
Imagine if Rocksteady spent 6 years developing a cutting edge single player Batman sequel to this game instead of that live service trash. Oh, what could have been.
I've noticed that the thing there is *least* of in this playthrough is drawn out hand-to-hand fights. Only when necessary. You don't spend 5 minutes on pure countering and martial arts when a room is full of enemies. This is a gadget and stealth heavy playthrough.
If i could play like this, i definetly would, but im still trying to keep my gameplay as batman accurate as possible, altough its hard... but im trying! and you gave me some tactics i could use, wich im thankfull for! And also, it was one of the best arkham gameplays i have seen! I can only wonder how long it took. Keep up the great work man, and i hope u make it into a series!

Hey man I loved this, its like watching a comic book in action since theres so much thought put into the movement and pacing outside if the cutscenes. Little details like moving the Batmobile into position for the next obstacle throughing a bomb through one rooftop window then jumping through a different one. Good shit
I never realized that was Jonathan Banks doing the opening voice-over. Also I just realized that despite all the times Batman says "I'll send someone to pick you up" or the like in these games, I don't remember him actually ever doing it, heh. I never ended up getting into the challenge rooms in Arkham Knight like in Asylum and City. Somehow the fact that they're presented as "virtual" takes away part of the fun.
That's essentially what happened in Arkham Asylum, he came onto the island without most of his tools (for security) and without knowledge of the plans developing in the background
For a character that uses lethal fighting skills and break bones as often as he can , Batman never consciously killed anybody. That's way he will never kill Joker etc. Yet his offensive weapons on the Batmobile and other vehicles are deadly and throughout movies, comics and games he shot at a lot of enemies and vehicles. Here he presumably killed several enemies in this armored cars ; or were they drones? He supposed to be better than the thugs he play with like their his food on a plate..
This was sick! I want to see more of such skill! Shame there aren't any more videos of this series yet. I'm gonna subscribe to hopefully hear when the next long video of this series comes around.
