Does anybody else think it would be cool to see a Pokémon game with a Tales-style battle system? I mean, Reloaded’s battle system is kind of close to that, but not all the way there.
haha the victory road team rocket battle and Jessie's Arbok gave me a flashback, when I was trying to breed Pokemon for the Kalos elague in this game I accidentally got a perfect Ekans, I was not too excited about it but decided to raise it anyways, the bugger Proceeded to sweep the Lysander fights (some of the hardest non-frontier brain fights in the game) and the entire Kalos league baring the steel type E4 member
Rom hack story Some crazy new pkmn champion made it harder to challenge him. The badges were devided in half so you have now to collect 16 badges and solve some other stuff to get the chance to challenge him. The champ could be a funny character or a melodramatic champ who constantly tries to held down the player. Maybe at start you're starting with high numbers of new adventurers and firstly through the first 5 bagdes you see that many people want to quit beeing a trainer and the champ will notice you more and more and gets more creative against you. Maybe gba firered hack with all mons.
bit of advice dont use a xbox controller use a playstation contoller because it has directional buttons and its way easier to control and also use alakazam becasue it uses calm mind and you can one shot pretty much every pokemon after a few uses of calm mind and also a belly drum snorlax is good too.
Is both. The current versión of the Game is technically a beta but will be fully compatible with all the next versions. The amount of content it has is so high that you can consider it beyond complete. Is just that some of the later plots in the very endgame and the last building in the Battle Frontier are still not fully developed.

I think you can fix your problem if try to keep your team on the same level. If you feel you're overleveled to the trainers you find you might as well train other Pokémon or leave that overleveled Pokémon on the box. Just remember Gym leaders scale to your max level Pokémon on your TEAM. Usually the difficulty spike and balance problems end after the second Gym. BUT if you still had difficulty problems after that it was probably due to having a really overleveled Pokémon on your team.
@@KitsuneFaroeI appreciate the advice, but like I said, it's just stress. What's the point of leveling my team if I can't grind past a difficult opponent? This is my go-to method when dealing with stupid-hard enemies in other games. In Elden Ring, I was Lvl. 100 before I even fought the first boss. Not being able to makes leveling up feel pointless. The disobedience in this game makes the Pokemon impossible to use, unlike in mainline titles. This game has a lot of good aspects, but this ain't it.

This Game got balance issues due to trying to please both experienced players and new players back and forth. That's why Gyms scale with your level now and that's why this issue arised (because before you could oneshot their entire team by overleveling one Pokémon, because before people complained about a lack of exp so exp got a buff and because people complained about the obedience levels so they got put further away). It was not something intended, but was an issue arised by the mistake of trying to please people. But the good part is that is an issue that becomes inexistant completely just by changing your playstyle a little. You just have to level a team togheter, and even change Pokémon if they're overleveled. I actually encourage that specially because this Game has EVERY Pokémon that exists, so trying and leveling different Pokémon is something you can easily do without getting underleveled at all.
