PSA: inb4 the "you copied " comments, please check the chronology of these 100 Hour videos! Sorry for not uploading so often, February had my voice gone because of back-to-back colds and flus. Hope you enjoy this video, this is probably the most fun I had with the 100 Hour videos! What are your fond memories of this game?
This was the first ds game I got as a kid along with my old dslite I’m still amazed at how well this game holds up so many years later I wanna replay it now but my laptop is dead along with my 3ds and my dslite is so old now that my bumpers are gone along with my up dpad button slowly giving out, one day I’ll come back and maybe keep my save file for once
I’ve been looking into your content. It’s really good and this is the first video that got recommended to me. I’m upset that RUclips didn’t show me your channel sooner. But I am happy that it delivered the channel with one of my favorite games of all time as well as one of the most emotional. ❤
“To feel emotions” is exactly why I pick up the game over and over again. Please remind me of who I am - nothing like a good monster house to put things in perspective.
nothing like missing 5 moves in a row or stepping into a monster house then immediately stepping onto a sleep trap afterwards, just the games special little way of saying “fuck you”
Fun fact: The Ludicolo dance cutscene for the big win can be a fakeout. I got it once on my most recent run and Wynaut revealed after the cutscene was over that I had, in fact, not won.
Another way to feel emotions, is to find this game in your deepest parts of the house and play it again, knowing it's been 10+ years since I have played this.
I stumbled across this game a little over a week ago. Been playing it bit by bit. Just finished the main story yesterday. Never was able to beat it as a kid
I always loved these games on the GBA and DS. I hope they get the same remaster treatment that the originals got because the Gen 4 Mystery Dungeon games are by far my favorite.
I'd much rather have a whole new story, to be honest. Nothing can quite rival with the charming and beautiful pixel art of the original. Sure, the gameplay could benefit from a remake, but yeah. I'd rather have anew story, with the ability to use all these new Pokémon from the newer generations. There's three generations worth of new Pokémon!
They dont need to change much, just fix some plotholes, add gen 5-9 starters and if possible add some lore about guildmembers/town folk/other exploration teams
@@boostedsurvivorandkilleron5407Fr, just getting it back into the public eye while pokemon is so much more widely known and accepted would do this game justice.
@@TheDarkEnigma I like the art But God damn i struggle to replay anything but DC now, gummies/IQ are God awful Locking somewhat intelligent teammates behind incredible grind
I played this game in Quarantine, wanting to finally try Mystery Dungeon and going in completely blind. As someone who's been in a dark place off and on since then, this game has given me a lot of comfort and a way to take my mind off things.
EoS is my favorite game of all time, and that will likely never change. The fact that a DS game has better music and more overall content than most AAA games is just incredible. Not to mention the combat, exploration, difficulty, emotional resonance, and enjoyable characters. What an underrated masterpiece of a game. The fact that the post-game actually is part of the story as well is just so cool and something I haven’t seen in most other games. This video was great, it reminded me of why I love this game so much. Thank you.
I really enjoy your take on summarising your playthroughs. You have a really relaxing, yet engaging way of speaking which makes it easy to listen to your narration. Have you considered making more opinion/essay-style videos? I think your narrative strength combined with your variety of pokémon experience (main series, spinoffs, manga) could make for some really interesting, well-supported, and easy-to-listen-to videos. Either way, great video.
Thank you so much for creating this, I love PMD2 so much, the soundtrack from this game is like 80% of my study music & my background music for my own YT videos, I cried my eyes out the first 20+ times playing this game, it holds such a strong message on your value in life (don’t unalive yourself), I found your channel through “Pokémon’s best written game you might cry” and I was so happy to see someone made a summary video of PMD2, I used to just re-watch the story cutscenes before bed ages ago, please keep making PMD2 content
Thank you for saying what you said in the ending, I can’t stop playing my game I got in 2009 and I can’t stop watching videos on this game, I just miss my childhood man, such simpler times, i really did change
loved how you talked through this video!! this game has been very precious to me for around 14 years now and i cant seem to get enough of watching other people play through it
Subbed for about a year, but I don't often comment. Love your work, your narration style, and it's always a treat to see one of my all-time favorite games played. As for fond memories of this game, I associate it with me and my younger brother at 10 and 7 years old discovering the action replay for the first time and laughing our asses off as we changed the playable character to an Arbok that could use thunderbolt, and as the game that I reached to a decade later for comfort and catharsis after my worst breakup in my 20s. Thanks again for your hard work
When I completed the game I did the next step to graduate the guild, but I thought that was the whole post-game! I recently came back to it and couldn't believe that the post-game was almost as long as the main storyline itself. I miss this era of Pokémon so much
1:30 Thats actually nuts, the first time I played explorers of time I ended up as a mudkip and chose pikachu as a partner. Forgotten about that until I saw your picks so thank you for the extra nostalgia!! :)
19:22 you know the drill. Creepy dungeon, Monster Houses, wipes. God Damn. 🤣🤣 I love this game so much I'm happy to see you play it. Very funny edit, good job!
I mean Nintendo are masters at getting away with dark themes. They made an entire Zelda game based on the concept of coming to terms with imminent death and still got an E rating.
Kids can handle dark things. Sugary-sweet stuff is only really for nursery/preschool kids, once they're out of that demographic it's good to challenge them with stuff that might put them out of their comfort zone, like for instance, Megamind and the deep message of destiny and such.
Welp, I think you are making it! This video got recommendef to me from my homepage! The last time I watched anything mystery dungeon related was months ago when listeining to some OSTs
I am not embarrassed to admit that 10-year old me was not okay with finishing the first half of the game following the Dusknoir fight and was weeping to where parents took notice by the end.
When I was younger, I just remember getting to Darkrai and literally every single one of my team’s attacks missing him. I ended up resulting to throwing everything I had in my inventory at him until through some miracle I defeated him 😅 That was NOT an enjoyable fight for me 😂😭
can we all agree aegis cave is just a pain in the ass to do.. (for anyone not knowing what the dungeon is you simply need items.. that only drop from unknown.. with a *roughly* 10% drop rate and you need spesific ones)
You know why your belly depletes so quickly when walking through walls? Because you are invincible while in a wall. This is one of the things you need to have a chance at recruiting Kecleon.
Hi I just randomly found this video upon searching up my favorite game ever, this game brought me so much joy. I remember I got explorers of sky randomly as a Christmas present and wow, I couldn’t be more grateful for it now, it’s so unique from the other games.. I picked Eevee with a Vulpix as my sidekick :-) thank you for making this video too, I may just have to do another play through
I love these games so much. Pokemon in general. I get made fun of for being 25 and playing Pokemon. Watching Pokemon. Screw em. I like what I like. And Pokemon. Not so much today. But in the past. Was a treasure.
That's wild that I had the same impulse to make a checklist, the very last one being something you can't do in game. "Stop". I want to go back and grind out everything, but I moved on to Gates to keep the train going!
I find myself replaying this game at least once a year. Easy to pick up, and replayability is extensive which all the hero/pattern combinations possible.
I just played this game a lot of times when was a child but never came till the end with the history now seeing this video i suddenly noticed that I NEED to reach the final part of this game.
I am recently playing EOS and its rlly fun going through it again. I homebrewed my dsi and 3ds where i got it on both systems. The dialga fight rlly messed me up, had a turtwig as my starter and vulpix as my partner. Now i restarted as a riolu and pikachu
When I starter, I played with my starter as Turtwig and partner as Pikachu. I quit after about 3 years on and off of not being able to get past it. Started again over quarantine though and beat it so much easier. Stocked up on almost a full bag of reviver seeds, blast seeds, and stun seeds. Swept first try
best pokemon games i have ever played, i started with team blue, which i never really possesed, but i borrowed it over years from a friend to play it over and over again, from 7-11 i think. then i got explorers of sky and i played it a ton too. in the end i played GX when it came out.
Im trying to remember how far I got in this game the first time I played it. I befriended Palkia, but I remember doing it much earlier on than you got attacked by it. I know i didn't complete the game though, just the main story. I believe scizor was as far ad I got. Edit: I remember manpahy now, the marine resort and then a couple secret missions. I also remember battling rayquaza at one point. Maybe I got farther than I realized.
I usually like 100 days, but i was kinda over them. But then i saw this and i was like should i watch it.... then the title got me to click. I then heard your voice 😂 and i subbed. Soooo thanks

You wrote my thoughts down. Thank u 🥹
nothing like missing 5 moves in a row or stepping into a monster house then immediately stepping onto a sleep trap afterwards, just the games special little way of saying “fuck you”
And every Pokémon in the room knowing a move that hits 2-5 times and somehow miraculously doesn’t miss a single one 🙄
Nothing like accidentally walking off of keckleon’s tiles after taking something and realizing you don’t have enough money for it.
the amount of feral anxiety your scenario just caused for my brain is real
Fun fact: The Ludicolo dance cutscene for the big win can be a fakeout. I got it once on my most recent run and Wynaut revealed after the cutscene was over that I had, in fact, not won.

The BEST Pokemon game imo. Its a complete package: its got an awesome and emotional story, challenging gameplay, amazing music, and content for days.
I always loved these games on the GBA and DS. I hope they get the same remaster treatment that the originals got because the Gen 4 Mystery Dungeon games are by far my favorite.
I hope so too. Though im on the fence about keeping the DX graphics style. Not sure how i feel about it to this day.

A visceral shudder passes through me when you mentioned Zero Isle. Those memories were repressed for a reason!

Can't wait to feel emotions once again when they remake this game one day
Love how you set up the background music!
It's weird but I really like the your smooth voice, it makes the videos so much better to watch
How dare u make me feel these emotions again.
I cried so much at the end of the story and. Thanks for the nostalgia ❤
It’s always a good day when Indutro uploads
You made that ending so heartwarming WE ALL GONNA MAKE IT BRAH

Oh the nostalgia! I 100% this game in far to many hours to count during uni.

I love this game so much I'm happy to see you play it. Very funny edit, good job!
If you play this game again try to use castform, you can transform in 3 different types and your signature move is long-ranged, it's pretty broken.
I played this game SOO much as a child, and man does it not disappoint :D
I never understood it as a kid ahaha.
Babe wake up, the chillest guy in the world Just dropped a video
Sometimes I wonder how this game got an E-Rating with all the dark themes in it
I mean Nintendo are masters at getting away with dark themes. They made an entire Zelda game based on the concept of coming to terms with imminent death and still got an E rating.
Explorers of Sky gets an E rating, it's romhack continuation, Explorers of the Spirit, would be at least a T, if not an M rating

Played this as a lot as a kid. It was on the DS so I would play it in the car everywhere we went during the day and then at night in secret. 🤫
Funny that Ursaring mentioned that it's impossible to evolve again. Now that Ursaluna is a thing I wonder how a potential remake would handle it

100 hours and still being a Pikachu while your partner is fully evolved. That tracks. Evolution items are so hard to consistently get for no reason.
