really pleased you done this lesson its an old fav of mine and loads of others to prob but WOW talk about fast, dynamic & all over the kit lol, brilliantly explained rob, thanks man!
Wonderfully done but are we sure that the kick was not played on each of the 4 quarters? Either way will work of course but was curious what others feel about the 2 options.
This was excitingly Awesome 🌠You're brill! The little bass drum variation he does between verses in the live versions is one of he best parts of the song imo! I've seen later shows in which Zak Starkey plays it too, wicked
This was a good one Rob really interesting to lean all the little increases of what Keith was doing on a tune we’ve all heard hundreds of times over the decades.
Wow, those extra snares are deceptively difficult. I'll sit down and play it right three or four times in a row and think I have it licked. After that, I start thinking about how great I'm doing and then I mess it up every time. Overthinking is a killer, apparently. Crazy stuff, this drumming business. Helps to have a great guide like we've got here. In case I haven't mentioned it lately, I love this channel.
Thank you very much, Mark. I appreciate you kind support! If you are finding those extra snare drums a little to tricky then you could just leave them out. Have fun!
Absolutely love drumming by Keith Moon, I need to post a play thru using your lesson. Thanks for supporting the drumming community. 'DrumsTheWord' is mygoto when learning new songs, even if yer a 'lefty' 👍
You can check out other video drum lessons from me covering The Who here if you like... ruclips.net/video/sbbMqX--hqw/видео.html
I applaud you for the amount of work and time you put in to work this out and then to break it down.
Thank you, Pete!

Thank you! I'm really pleased you enjoyed the lesson!
Brilliant lesson !
I have come to the conclusion that if you aren't "juiced on drugs" like Keith was during his playing, you will never be able to duplicate what he did.

Great lesson Rob. I was strangely mesmorised by your slippers!
Haha! Thanks, Richard :)
thank you so much for doing this, it must have taken a lot of time and effort and it is really kind to teach people for free as well! 😀
You're welcome, Izzy :)
Great job!
Awesome thank you
Glad I could help, Jeff!
