Love the look of this blanket. Cannot wait to try doing it
So glad you like it, thanks for watching
I am going to figure out how to work this as a straight across blanket. I know it won’t have the eyelet edging all around but it’s a good compromise for me.
I just finished this blanket and I am tearing it out. I love the look of the garter and twisted rib but the blanket did not square up at the end. It came out misshapen and I don’t think a new mom would take the time to keep blocking it after every wash.
Thank you for this pattern. Is there any chance the blanket can be a rectangle?
Hi, thanks for your comment! Unfortunately the way this pattern is written it can really only be a square. But you could probably cast on an odd # and work stripes of twisted rib and garter to create a rectangle instead of following this exact pattern. Hope that helps!
