Killer tune from a great album! The “crispness” you’re referring to is a great example of what modern production sounds like compared to the 80s and 90s.
Just watch That Was Just Your Life and The End Of The Line back to back live from Quebeq Magnetic. Those 2 are from their 2008 album Death Magnetic and they opened their shows with those 2 songs back in the day.
They have to be the band that has spent the most time on the road over their career. They toured a lot before the Black Album, but ever since then, it feels like they've been ON tour more than off. They toured for 3 straight years to support that album. Then took 9 months off before jumping back into the studio. When I saw them on that tour, they had no opening act. It was just 3 hours of Metallica kicking our asses.
Here are a few other "new" songs I would recommend: The Day that Never Comes Cyanide Just a Bullet Away Hardwired... To Self Destruct Halo on Fire 72 seasons Lux Aeterna Inamorata
One of my favourite Metallica songs of all time!! Another newer Metallica song you should check out is 'All Nightmare Long' from 2008. Not the music video though, just the song itself.
The Faceless - Ancient Covenant or Sons of Belial Musicianship is top notch and great songwriting. Saw the Paleface react so I think you guys are ready.
Let's get some Black Label Society in the house one of these days.... Trampled Down Below, Fire it up, Bleed For Me, Aint no Sunshine(cover), Parade of the Dead, A Love Unreal, Funeral Bell, Blessed Hellride, Destruction Overdrive, Blackened Waters, Doomsday Jesus, and on and on. Most underrated band of my young adulthood-present.
Their production improved of course, but they play so much that as an individual musician, they have each improved very much from since they’re beginnings. It’s all that rehearsal, which is every night on concert tour they don’t rehearse anymore probably they just are on concert so long that this stuff does become second nature. as you’re fine as all these heavy metal bands progress they progress because they’re playing it so many times in a row anyways you need to do more mainstream 70s 80s late 60s and so forth not see you’re doing a lot of what they call filler in the music industry. They call that filler. Every album has it B or B minus rating songs on them as filler whoever is mostly directing you to these songs are directing you to filler remember ask for the original official recording studio or concert don’t accept nothing else with the original and be careful because if they’re not the original recording certified the recording you may get is being cut chopped up. You won’t hear the whole song good luck, bro.
Good one but I still am just pretty much stuck on their first 4 albums! Because that was the real METALLICA! imo… I do like some stuff and definitely respect their longevity! I still wish you guys would do something from the 89 Seattle show or something from the 91 Moscow show please and thanks. Keep on rocking guys
I honestly think someone is trying to sabotage this channel by suggesting songs that will never bring in big views. Instead of going for popular songs that might catch on in the algorithm they keep doing these crappy songs.
@@Lolquake On their official page their best vid has 1.4B views. They have 60 videos with over 10M views each. This song has 500k. Thats all I need to say about that.

This is great, but yall need to react to a song called Room of Mirrors. It's even newer. It's off their 72 Seasons album released in 2023.

gotta do some Death Magnetic (2008)

i agree, i think the music video takes away from the song
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
If you’re going to do new Metallica you need to do now that were dead, moth into flame and atlas. They are all 3 amazing
Metallica Brasil ❤
The Faceless - Ancient Covenant or Sons of Belial
Musicianship is top notch and great songwriting. Saw the Paleface react so I think you guys are ready.
Sanitarium - Seattle 1989
Reminds me of hardwired. Brilliant! Perfect description of 2016. What a tragic shitshow

Yep, thats the right way to get a lot of views - by playing unpopular songs that nobody will watch.
@thebenc1537 cool👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Cool. :)

If you wanna hear bad metallica production try something from St. Anger,I still love that shit but it’s comically bad in a weirdly great way.

Grow up. Metallica did. 😊
@ did you stay up all night to think of that one
by sticking with the first 4 you're missing out on all of Load, Death Magnetic and Hardwired. so many missed bangers
Fuċk yeah 👍 somebody reacting to Spit out the bone 🦴 U guys killing it 🎉
Spit out the bone? Bros. I just subscribed over this one
New is trash. It's what you get once you have no more drive, and you been living a soft life for too long.
Grow up
@@keithkinkade4265 i agree
I wish the kids knew what they were about and what they became
True, you should post your able for their reaction. I’m sure it kills.
Well, I suppose it's a step up from sucking the bone which is what Metallica have been doing for the past 30 years

POPular songs? Great idea…. This ain’t MOP but it sure as hell don’t suck.
@@thebenc1537 The idea that you're bitching about not picking a popular song from the single largest metal band to ever exist is hilarious to me.
