SNOWBLIND is your next Sabbath adventure.
Such a near perfect song, one of my favorites in their catalog.
@@jeffreylauzon7630 Same!
not many reactions out there for Bit of Finger/Sleeping Village/Warning. Awesome tune, it's basically a 15 minute Sabbath jam session.
Excellent pick!
Excellence
Pure excellence!!
Amazing choice.
Possibly Ozzy’s greatest vocals recorded on Sleeping Village
Perhaps the perfect Black Sabbath song. Tony is a riff machine, Geezer's lyrics are bonkers, Bill plays like a madman, and Ozzy sounds like he just took every drug he could lay his hands on (which he probably did).
“This is what rock music is supposed to sound like”. Indeed!!!
even after all these decades, Black Sabbath still gives me goosebumps - they're special
And they've announced another tour !
Toni Iommi is the Baddddddddddest MF to play the guitar. Been listening to them for over 50 years now and it STILL raises the hair on my arms.
Dude, your channel and others like it are why us boomers are watching you guys so much! We're re-living the music thru you as what we felt first listening to Sabbath at your age! Love it!!
That whole album "SABOTAGE" is definitely worth a listen! 🔥 🔥 🔥
SMART that you included the little song at the start. Happens a few times in rock/metal. Good work.
The real joke was the way they cut off the prior song and then titled it "Don't start (too late)". You have to hear it on vinyl to really get the joke. There will always be a pause with individually titled songs digitally played together.
One of the greatest songs ever
There’s nothing like real musicians playing real music on real musical instruments.
The most vicious drums ever.
“ All I have to give you is a love that never dies, the symptom of the universe is written in your eyes”
BARZ!
My favorite Sabbath album. Sabotage is simply iconic.
Snowblind is a must for you guys. Sabbath got groove.
You should also check out " The Thrill of It All" Off the same album. Underated
Hard to believe that at it's core, this is a love song.
One of their few where it just really focuses on a love trip in a positive light. The only other one I know of in the Ozzy era would be one of my Top 5 Sabbath Favs: “Sabba Cadabra”.
On the negative love trip, or “love gone wrong” side of the spectrum we’ve got: “Warning”, “Paranoid”, “Dirty Women”.. not a single dud in either group, and an interesting perspective coming from such a heavy band.
Dudes back in the 70s when I was in the 5th grade. Teacher on last day of school said we could bring games an album or whatever. It was a free day. I grabbed my sister’s Black Sabbath album we sold our souls for rock n roll. Me and Thomas put it on and cranked it. The teacher told us to turn it down and she brought us over some headphones. We just jammed that whole album. 🤘 see back then and rolling into the 80s we were so misunderstood. They made fun of our music. Called it noise devils music extra. Even at a young age like that I knew the power of rock n roll. We didn’t care what people thought. Rock and metal gave us everything musically , lyrically and every other sense that could be touched by music. I Already started growing my hair out by 5 th grade. I’m now 57 and still have long hair and rock out every day. I dig y’all reactions to stuff I grew up on in real time. There’s so much more for you guys to explore. Glad that y’all go deep into a bands catalog. Catch you on the next one. I’m subscribing today👊
This is one of my all time fave BS song. The switch up was absolute 🔥🔥.
Black Sabbath is my favorite Jazz band :}
Snowblind and A National Acrobat are 2 Sabbath songs that are completely top notch Black Sabbath songs!!!!!!!!
Lord of This World, Into the Void, Fairies Wear Boots, Sabbra Cadabbra, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Wheels of Confusion, Snowblind......just a few of my faves 💥👹
Hi there- I think "Fairies" is on the way in the next couple days. Can't wait.
I keep hoping someone will request the song "Warning", you guys will love it.
And there are people in this world that don't think Black Sabbath is not a talented band, and are not good? They are out of their minds???
Those people don't know what great music is then
@lukewells7891 Absolutely!! Thank you!!!
It's really hard to go wrong with this band. Ozzy was fired from BS before my first birthday, but they are still my favorite band ever.
it's the fusion of jazz, folk and heaviness. the original and the best.
The level of playing on this song is next level, this band was lightning in a bottle!
The first part starting off sounds a lot like Jethro Tull my name is Saul and I'm 73 years old born in 1951
‘Snowblind ’, ‘Supernaut’, ‘A National Acrobat’, ‘Into the Void’, ‘Children Of the Grave’ - All among the best of Sabbath.
BS were the Truth! And the absolute masters of Riffs
I reacted exactly the same way the first time I heard this song! Awesome!
All i can say is ...FUCKING AWESOME!!
Entire Sabotage and Technical Extasy are worth listening....
My Sabbath brothers, your musical taste is excellent.
Every single track on Sabatoge is playlist worthy!!
Black Sabbath is just realism and feelings expressed through music!!! It is just Amazing!!
Now, you just need to watch em playing it live!!
Best band of all time hands down. fight me about it!!
Musical fireworks. A sincere expression of existential LOVE for the ear.
I love it. You guys get it. I'm enjoying your reactions and listening to songs that I haven't heard in years. More fun is coming.
With all of the zillions of great heavy Sabbath riffs, I sometimes think this acoustic outro at the end is the best thing they ever recorded! Definitely for me the best Ozzie vocal I ever heard as well! Sabotage, a highly underrated album. Their earlier stuff was phenomenal, but in my opinion they were at their creative peak for Sabotage.
Music, in its truest and fullest sense, is a spiritual experience. This is why music and sound are healing. When a song or any musical composition is expressed in its most perfect way, the audience, like yourselves, are pulled right into the performance. You might fight it, because it's "dangerous" territory. First time listeners, like yourselves, and myself as well, can find it difficult to be completely pulled in. If we are not familiar with a song, or the way it's structured, it's normal to feel, almost, off balance, but the vibe in the music keeps pulling you back and, sooner or later, you give in. It's kind of like being saved. That experience of the song is like an awakening and it just feels so good to accept and trust it. I so enjoy your reactions. Thank you!
It makes me so happy that you guys appreciate this band so much. Much love.
Where all these kids get there influence. SABBATH!!!
Thanks!
Black Sabbath is a Way of Life, Feel the Music when you hear it.. Their music is about Social Chaos, Wars, Drugs and being caught up in Good and Evil.. They are Definitely Not Satanists…I’ve seen Black Sabbath Many many times and actually met all 4 original members at a record signing.. What a Thrill to shake their hands and get pictures and autographs.. Something I’ll cherish forever.. Thank you for This Reaction, a Favorite of mine along with their first Debut Album.. Of course Everything they have is Great ❤✌🏻
Calling Black Sabbath the GOAT seems like an understatement.
What’s higher than GOAT?
Black Sabbath is higher than goat
@@jamesbrackett575 seriously. What's higher than the GREATEST OF ALL TIME? ie; GOAT?? What word would you use?
I’d say Black Sabbath level none can compare
Black Sabbath 1968-eternity🤘
You guys are great...Thank you! 😌
Been a sabbath fan since 74. Saw them 17 times
I remember, vaguely LOL, when this 8track came out. . . We pooped THC pills, and the buzz kicked in at second half of this song. The good old days, can never get back
I love you guys so much!! The appreciation you show for talent regardless of the genre makes this old white lady’s heart soar🖤😖Talent is talent and should always be appreciated 🥰Thank you for doing what you do❣️
Acoustic Black Sabbath is just as Bada** as electric Sabbath. I love this song.
Eclectic af. Sunny, even 😎 👌🏼
I'm feeling unexpectedly upbeat.
Thxs to you guys
This is my favorite Sabbath tune! Glad you guys are hip to the Greatness of the KINGS!!!!
Glad to hear you mention Sabbath being at a different level. There're at the top, and everyone else are at various steps below.
They invented it all 🙌🏻
Exactly Black Sabbath forever
You guys certainly know your stuff - great reaction!
One of the first riffs I learned to play. GOAT!
This was the foundation of thrash metal this is the band that built the house metallica lives in
Another great reaction lads.
That was 💪
Thank you. Been a while since i heard that one.
This one has always been my favorite Black Sabbath song and my favorite album Sabotage.
Don't Start Too Late is the instrumental break for trivial sake... Looking For Today Snowblind are worth diving into..
"Into the Void" sirs, "Into the Void". This one sums up Sabbath in my mind.
Love that song. Incredible use of riff and tempo changes to make a monster.
I love that you guys are appreciating the music I grew up loving. My Father was from Europe and he was 40 in '62
So I would play him the classical tracks on the album and let it slide into the heavy stuff just to see his reaction
Pierchala? I'm guessing he was from Poland!
Just came across your guys, love your reaction to my favorite band. Watching you getting into war pigs and sabbath bloody sabbath took me back to my 12 year old me first hearing these. It was so funny watching you head bang to these songs probably not even knowing your head banging lol
The guitar solo is pure flex.
KILLING URSELF TO LIVE…. IS A ABSOLUTE MUST HEAR. ROCK ON 👊🖖
Give a listen to "Supernaut" and "Tomorrows Dream" from the Volume 4 album. Good stuff. I remember hearing "Neon Knights" off the album "Heaven and Hell" back in the early 1980's. I was HOOKED. I'm in my 60's now and still listen to Sabbath quite often.😎
The first heavy thrash metal song ever.
Ozzy's vocals really peaked in this album, do The Writ next🙏
Ozzy was something else in this album...
To Quote Gerry Garcia "if you get confused listen to the music play" Sabbath is great. dont over look Electric Funeral, and Warning.
Ah ha ok cool so you have reacted to this one. Glad you liked it.
This song, along with it's respective album Sabotage, is the peak of Black Sabbath.
Tony Iommi poured out his sweat and blood to make Sabotage a masterpiece album. He took it very hard when it didn't achieve the popular acclaim and sales that he expected to come with it.
Ohhhhh shit here we go
Geezer Butler has a side project called Geezer (or G/Z/R, depending on the album) The track you want to check out first is *Mysterons.*
Please someone recommend Lord Of This World to these guys
SNOWBLIND HITS HARD !!
Just found your channel...AWESOME!
THEE Black Sabbath song to do is their song called "Black Sabbath" but most say to do the studio version first...nah, check out Black Sabbath "Black Sabbath" live in Paris France 1970...TRUST📣
Some folks say that this is the first ever "thrash metal" song. Please react to "Supernaut". It's a great song and I think it's the first example of something resembling "grunge". You will enjoy.
Hi there- hard yes on "Supernaut." Dominating song.
I love Sepultura's version of this song from "Nativity in Black" tribute album)
And speaking of Black Sabbath, there is a lot of great songs from Dio era as well - try Neon Knights, Die Young, Mob Rules, Heaven and Hell...many seem to forget about Dio in Sabbath, but it really was next level for them back in 1980!
Children of the grave live from the reunion tour
Don't forget that Sabbath had other singers as well. Ronnie James Dio, and Ian Gillan from Deep Purple. That stuff is awesome too. Try Heaven and Hell!
If you want another examples of cool intros leading to an awesome track by Black Sabbath, I recommend to you : Embryo/Children of the grave and Orchid/Lord of this world from the album Master of Reality
the finger work by toni iomi is amazing in this track!
Half finger lol
@@alanwhetstone3922 that makes it twice as good
I’ve been listening to this for 50 years, but today is the first time I had the thought, How did Iommi play finger style with plastic fingertips?
*Tony
*Iommi
You guys are great. Please be careful with remasters. They sometimes ruin the original sound.
Just found your channel really cool to see a new gen experience this music. Back in the day I was 10 12 we would drop acid "purple dragon" 5 bucks a tab black lights black light posters strobe lights from Spencer's an early head s
hop and we would take the journey
...oh my, you have to hear Rob Halford sing... anything.
"Painkiller", from Ram it down ", is a good place to start.
did you guys know that Toni the guitarist had 2 fingers on the neck hand cut off at an early age, he puts on finger extensions to play. He has lots of pain to play.
love it lads enjoy
Definitely go for “Supernaut” at some point.
The framework for metal to come
57 year old white boy, Sabath is my soundtrack and Ozzy is ma Daddy. 1977 i got my first 8 trac.. Paranoid.
You need to hear Hand of Doom
Theyve already done that one
Reaction Request: Judas Priest (Victim of Changes)
Sabbath were the Fathers of Metal.
