- I have received confirmation of my date for lower surgery (radial artery phalloplasty). This will take place at the Spire hospital in Slough under the care of Mr Christopher. In this vlog I talk about the mixed emotions I feel to be both relieved to have a surgery date but incredibly nervous about the procedure and recovery.

I'm watching through your phalloplasty playlist, and it's super interesting, thank you for sharing so much so openly. I think this video is out of order in the playlist though. Most of the videos are in chronological order, but this one is 4 and 5 weeks post op (stage 1).

I can totally relate to what you say about letting go of the "female area" the longer you're on T and experience the physical and mental changes--that's how it's been for me. Pre-T, I never imagined I'd ever consider closing it up, but now I can perhaps imagine it. I can also relate, similarly, to first feeling you're trans and then gradually realizing or feeling you're male.

It might actually be good it's coming on so soon, you'll not have too long to go wind your self up about it all. Just enough time to get everything ready then, and do update us on all they've put on the list for you in readiness, and what you're settled for if you get a chance. Congratulations Finlay!!! We'll be sending all of our best all along the way. Tell Drew to go on and give us the updates while you sit there on pain meds for us, alright? How many procedures do you have to go through Finn?
Here in the UK radial artery is done in three stages. As long as there are no other complications
