damn, unbelievable what crazy amount of work you put in alone in this single video, its SO entertainting and fun to watch, while also extremely helpful...you are the man!
anythingnew But you have to remember, this is for artist's purposes, not medical purposes, so those hanging ribs might not even show often in drawings and sketches.
John 3:16 ; For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
An unexpected side-effect of watching your videos is I can't look at a nice nude painting anymore without trying to look under the skin for the bones, not to mention finding the beans etc.
Ok. So I've got to be honest with you rn. I seriously loved your art tutorials and it helped me a lot. Your one of my fave artists. I am now collecting all of your art tutorials. Thank you so much❤️
I don't know how many of you did it but at some parts, I found myself touching my torso parts to check if everything is in place as it is being demonstrated in the video. =D This was quite fun to watch and educational. Not only from the point of view of artists but also like a medic's. Thanks for the detailed info and hard work that you've employed with this one.
I had the hardest time drawing the pelvis and today I was able to draw one to a level I was satisfied with. Im so proud of myself. Dont give up you’ll get there the more you work at it.
Thank you Proko. I've been struggling on human anatomy and your videos are fun and simplified. Been watching every video while reading the Anatomy for Sculptors at the same time. A lot of books shows the whole drawing of muscle groups with names on them but doesn't point out the placement of each which is frustrating to me. Thanks a lot :D
Thanks for all the information your post for free. Im amazed buy all the content you offer free of charge it really shows that you you enjoy teaching and sharing your knowledge. I have included drawing in my recovery post military life and can't thank you enough . stan proko for president !!!
I like the way you provide information . Visual analogies with simple objects are very helpful . Thank you for your videos ! ❤ P. S. Dog in the end is super cute 🥰
Ive been trying to make my art slightly more realistic instead of just drawing more cartooney characters (as well as learning to draw more realistically might also just help my normal style improve {Two bird with one stone!}) your vids really are helping me in my quest to improve! you have earned a new subscriber!
like proko's lessons, they are always easy and straight forward to understand, and very catchy to the eye which doesnt make the study a chore to watch at
This was very interesting! I didn't know the sternum was made of 3 parts and looks like a tie!SO MUCH! I wonder if this bone inspired the inventor of the tie. When I'll meet difficulties to draw a rib cage,I'll probably go back to this very video! :D
Thank you much for your video explaining "correctly" the anatomy of the Rib Cage. Do you happen to have a reference sheet for this lesson? Regardless, it proves to be a great help, please do not stop. r
Thanks you, Proko! Like always, your videos are really helpful! The most simple way of learning anatomy is watching your videos. By the way, Prokopenko is a Ukranian surname. Are you Ukranian? (Cuz I am. And it's kinda interesting if you are).
Thanks Proko! And also thank you that now I don't have to say, "I have small boobs..." but formally say, "I simple have 'thin pec muscles'". xD Hahaha! @5:54
Proko I have 2 questions for you: 1. Did you buy you baby Ewok from the guy in Chinatown selling mogwai? Don't feed it after midnight! 2. I want to buy the premium content. (Statement) Do you cover everything you covered in you figure drawing series in your anatomy series, but with more detail or do the 2 series complement each other? If they are intended to be used together which should be reviewed first?
+Sean Welty Haha no I didn't buy my Ewok from a guy in Chinatown. To answer your second question, the courses complement each other. I would recommend getting the figure drawing course first and then moving on to anatomy.
A lot of figures drawn in comic book style and most Greek sculptures, though anatomically correct seem to show a layer of muscle going along the thoracic arch such that the bottom part of the rib cage seems to pop out more than it should, does such a muscle exist or its just an exaggerated external oblique.
A very unique one I think, very beautiful! :) I had a lhasa apso, a little different... but a great companion as well... ------------------------------ BTW... I'm very thankful for your videos... I just started to watch it/subscribed last week (I think) :) ... I'm learning all over again since I didn't draw since my 15yrs or something.... I was just learning about colors/ painting and I had a major lack of knowledge about forms and anatomy :) here's my gallery: fgore.deviantart.com/gallery/ Anyway: Thanks for all the help Proko , I'm sure I'll improve even more now :)
damn, unbelievable what crazy amount of work you put in alone in this single video, its SO entertainting and fun to watch, while also extremely helpful...you are the man!
ilove beaches we should make a behind the scenes video. Hundreds of man hours and reality tv drama to make each video.
haha, gold!

Troll alert. Two false ribs, others are normal. Only CERN has scrambled is your brain.

Good. Stop sexualizing women for your own fantasy. It's selfish and abuse of her body.
"do we really need to know how many ribs there are?"
Me: yes. Otherwise my biology teacher will murder me
The beginning, that beginning.
Man, you're killing me

Very informative, interesting, entertaining! I'm getting redundant, I think. More power and creativity to all of you there!

Steve Hampton and proko are the only ones i seen that make anatomy fun and easy to understand so far.

Plot twist: he means Steve huston :D
