Ya know, these Skelly/Skella animations... they may seem comic relief-like at first glance, but the more I practice, the more I see how helpful it is, having an animated skeleton in this. I dunno, it just solidifies how the body is supposed to "look" on the most bare level, and I really appreciate it
Studio classes at my school just got cut from 6 hours a week to 4.5 hours a week. My professor no longer has time to lecture on all the material and have full length drawing sessions, so she's been assigning us these videos as homework. I think that really speaks to their quality
I like the skelly interaction. They are short breaks in the video that give me time to process the learning part before moving on without having to manually pause the video.
"Four shortenable sticks?" "What the **** Skelly, no wonder Skella doesn't like you" I love how cute you put so much personalities and fun into these traditionally serious anatomy lessons!
Can't believe I JUST watched this video today, this is so helpful and well laid out, I learned more from this than self study in the last few years, great video!
Finally bought the Skelly app. Totally worth it, especially considering everything I've learned from following this channel. A lot of nice features you wouldn't necessarily expect, including the ability to switch between robo-Skelly and regular bony Skelly. At some point in the future, if you have the resources, it might be nice to see the app include child, women, and maybe even some basic animal skeletons. Thanks! This is really nice.
Is there anything like the skelly app but with muscles instead? I got the skelly app but I wish to compliment it with an anatomical muscle model if available!
well ik it’s so pro and cool and u put alot of work on it but plz is there anyway the lessons can be more discounted? even for a little while? im so poor and i need it..
This is really helpful. Premium is out of budget at the moment - I foolishly spent the money on a fine art class that has proven to be pretty much useless as the instructor does not teach.
Hello mister proko, I have been watching your videos and your playlist on drawing basics and i learning slowly but still learning some stuff. So I was wondering how I can practice getting better at drawing more and when I asked some of my friends who are good at drawing they said I should get the Andrew Loomis Figure Drawing For All It's Worth since that's how they learned. Should I get it because I'm worried I might be overwhelmed by terms I have no idea what they mean. I know nothing of drawing and i'm worried it may only be for people who already know the basics. So I was just wondering if you think I should buy it or if I should just find other ways to get better at drawing
em7151998 Do both! If can afford to buy the book, I would definitely get it. It's a great resource and full of awesome examples. But on top of that, I highly recommend that you reach out to as many resources as you can. There is a lot of great stuff you can find on the internet thats completely free as well, like my videos ;) Good luck!
Proko did you know Skelly has a cousin known as Skully ,who's bones like him, who's a cousin of Meat from Mortal Kombat. So in some way Skelly is related to Mortal Kombat.
Hey me again sorry but i was wondering what exactly this book will teach me. Like will it tell me how to draw the male body or only show examples of it expecting me to already know it. Sorry if i'm bothering you.
Man, you are putting quite a lot of work into this. Thanks for these great videos
Just watching Skelly and Skella at the beginning really demonstrates the movement of the bones, cool.
This intro has about some of the best things in internet

But hey, timely video. I was _just_ trying to draw the shoulder of a figure.
Contrary to some, the cheesy humor makes me laugh a lot, sometimes a little too much haha!
These are some of the greatest lectures I've encountered.

the subs have more information on the motion of the scapula and how it moves towards the end.
Unrelated to the content and topic of this video, what what mic do you use for your videos? Thanks for any info. And great videos. I've been watching.
Abey Twabey I use an 1800 series audio-technics mic. Its a great mic :)
Proko Thanks a lot. Now I gotta see if I can afford it. :D
Gracias por los vídeos,no ingles.Pero son muy entretenido.
This is really helpful. Premium is out of budget at the moment - I foolishly spent the money on a fine art class that has proven to be pretty much useless as the instructor does not teach.

Hi ! Accessibility issue on this video, the subtitles don't follow near the middle of the video, they are missing!

Proko O.K thank you for the advice. Hopefully it will help
The direction of this humor is next: Skely gets a BONEr, and then she gets pregnant. I didn't start it. Stan did.. lol
Proko did you know Skelly has a cousin known as Skully ,who's bones like him, who's a cousin of Meat from Mortal Kombat. So in some way Skelly is related to Mortal Kombat.
Radiologist will love this :)
Skelly should have his own show where he teaches how to pickup girls like a boss. Nice video Stan
Grate....... 👍👍
It was enought to watch the first 25 seconds to like the video. :DD
Instead of learning anatomy, i have been trying to pronounce your last name for 15mins lol, cool name honestly
Is this playlist going to get into anything below the waist?
I think the gags make a great memo tool haha. Try forgetting that a clavicle looks like a cupid's bow now...
por favor pueden subtitular en español, gracias.
