I pulled my left groin on the training, i felt the pain even while walking. I couldnt lift my leg up while lying in bed, so i thought that my injury was bad.. I end up doing these workouts every day for a week and pain dissapeared, so 10 days after injury i came back to training and i was healed 😍 thank you

I strained my groin almost a week ago while jogging. I iced it the first day and it didn't feel bad so the next day I decided I would walk. After about a mile and not feeling any pain, I decided a slow jog would be okay.... felt it on the first step! Since then I've been icing it daily and putting compression on it, along with rest. That's been 5 days now and I've been skimming through RUclips videos looking for advice on ways to speed up recovery time. At 62 I don't "bounce back" the way I used too! This is definitely the best video I've seen!
It's has to be the most "complete" presentation I've seen, with diagnosis, treatment, stretching, and exercises to address ways to prevent future strains. In particular the massage method you demonstrated, started lessening the pain within minutes! Big thank you!

The stretch Bob does at 9:30 (on one knee with the other leg stretched out and he turns his foot to 3 different positions) can also work wonders for hemorrhoid problems and incontinence. I do it standing beside my bed, place the stretched out leg on the bed and hold onto a chair for balance.

It responds to gentle exercises like calisthenics but makes like an ostrich when I want to push myself with even the smallest of squats. That night the groin was hurting bad and now, 4 days later it’s horrible. I’m on a cane again and in tears with each movement. I’m certain I went too far lying my leg outward like that. I’m trying your suggestions as of tonight and 🙏 it gets better because it’s set me back as I can barely walk much less do the PT my surgeon has me doing daily. I’m a 57 yr old woman and worried. Hello, I strained my groin few weeks ago, this helps a lot and i already feel better, no pain when stretching etc. My question is when and how do i know if my strain has healed? I don't want to start training too early and strain it again.

I thought I got a testicular injury but after being scanned and examined, it was fine. Another scan revealed that I had torn my adductor tendon and this is what was causing the pain. I've had surgery but it still hurts and prevents me from being as active as I was. Going to add these exercises to my routine.

I did a hip abductor exercise at the gym without stretching my legs and I also placed a heavy weight initially. BAD IDEA. I had not exercised my abductors in a long while and suddenly stretching those muscles with a heavy weight did not cope well. I didn't feel anything the first day, but the second day hit me like a truck in the morning. Now, I have degree 2 groin pulls in both legs. I can barely even walk. But I've been rubbing those fibers and doing very light stretches and hopefully this will help. Usually i have groin stretches disappear within 2-3 days after my climactic pain days

hi doc's, quick question.. is the pain similar to a hernia?
i've had hernias in the past so I know what it feels like, but this time the pain is a bit less but continues when laying down. also, this time it happened while I was walking, not lifting anything and the pain is off towards where my leg meets my groin and not down along my inner thigh.

I've had groin pain for about 5 years now. Gone to physical therapy and did pelvic floor training which helped, but it comes back. I think I must have tore something while on a 220 mile race relay years back. Ever since then it is off and on pain and when I do a good run or cycle it gets agitated again. It sometimes scares me that it is a tumor or hernia but docs said it can't be a tumor bc it would have advanced by now and my blood work, obgyn tests, and feeling around tests are normal.
