And the award for most engines specs quoted while kneeling on a shop stool goes to: Sarah!
I’ve gotten it down to first try more often than not now, it’s hard for me because sometimes I slur words or say things dyslexic.
I think sometimes I'm Lysdexic also😉@@SarahnTuned
I’m certain this will be yet another epic review! 😊 Sarah is just the greatest!
Don't do it, it's a trick!
Great review! The Type S seems a far more livable daily driver than the Type R and a lot of other cars.
My lord that is a pretty car. Good review.
What car? 😂
I have an 04 tsx and I am drooling over this 🤤
Love the new editing tricks with hairy cardboard 😂😂😂🤌🏻
YESS! I've been waiting for this video from you Sarah. I drive an 01 CL type-S and I love it. I aspire to own this Integra some day.
Right on brotha. I'm personally taking my J32A2 and AV6 and throwing them in my 2002 Accord eventually. The CL was definitely a fun car though. Made a lot of friends and a lot of enemies with it by people who can't control their emotions 🤣
It’s likely the same turbocharger, but the reason the type s makes more power with lower boost is because the flow is better optimized on the intake side, reducing boost pressure by derestricting flow
I know it's not the best sport option but if you want a Acura performance GT, an automatic would be appreciated since the Honda version doesn't have one.
I’m so excited! ❤🎉 congratulations Acura and by the way it’s about time!
So much Honda racing trickle-down in these turbocharged two-liter fours. I drive a 2.0T Accord and it's loads of fun with quite a bit less horsepower and torque. Great motors.
100% agree with you on this. I almost pulled the trigger on an A-spec, but decided that I'd be disappointed if I didn't get the Type S.
If you get the A spec, you're better off getting a mini van 😆 😅
@@huanweili7699 funnily enough, I did end up getting the minivan. It's so relentlessly practical
The Tyupe S was already put on a track against the type R and they both came up with the same lap time
Sarah once again showing how it's done. 👏
If it was 4wd or rear wheel drive it would be a weapon
Two things Honda doesn't do are RWD or V8s.
There IS a multi-step dance you can do to completely disable traction control, but I do not remember all of the steps off hand. It was demonstrated on one of the other car review channels.
It's the Throttle House review, at approximately 9:57. It's still too many steps to remember offhand.
Very nice thorough review by a woman. The woman did a better review than the guys from Canadian bacon land. I agree, I wanted a 2 door Integra and Acura/Honda did not offer it = failed. Glad to see it come back but at 50K$+ USD I would not buy it. I’d buy the 2 door but it’s never coming so….
I like this car
The 2022 WRX's burble is a thing of beauty
I prefer the CTR exhaust note but if that’s the reason there’s +14 HP and +4 torque, I’ll happily take the Acura exhaust. This is the kind of attention to detail and technical specs I wish more reviews had
Always looking amazing Sarah
Sarah, I thought the GO-PRO was going to fly off the car during the breaking test.....
Thanks for posting.
The Brembos caused stomach acid to flow back up to your esophagus. Hence thirst.
You should get one Sarah and tune and mod it for the channel.
Thanks digital friend and algo's
I'd love to drive a manual transmission. Kind of hard to do with 0.25 of a right arm 😛
The drummer of Def Leppard has 1 arm! Drums are however safer than motor vehicles.. so I see your point
JDM right hand drive is the answer
Surely you have someone that can cobble together an array of popsicle sticks and tape to make it possible. Where there is a will there is a way!
Acura knows they have a hot car in this one.
I haven’t been an Integra fan…but love this car with the caveat that there seems to be a lot to grow wrong. Too much complexity.
Sarah for some reason or another acura calls the engine the K20C8 not the K20C1 i don't know why but that's what acura engineers called it so
My first new car was a 93 Integra GSR.
Fantastic Review!!!💯
So, is it a “shport” sedan or a 4 door “coupe”? Or something in between?
That's Honda's 'Pretzel' braking in action. 😁👌
Wonder how the car with Sound with an aftermarket exhaust twin tips out the back.
I'm surprised they did not offer this with the automatic that the Accord Sport 2.0t had especially since they are marketing this as a "grown-up" version of the TypeR
3 door hatchback a must
Another great review .
You look very beautiful today Sarah as always❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Too many doors.
Exactly. Not rear wheel drive, and not naturally aspirated. And can you turn off the traction control?
Luv it!
When it was first announced I was planning to buy one. I was hopping the msrp would be, at most, $48k. Well it ended up being $52k, plus around $8k of "market adjustment". On top of that, for no reason whatsoever, it looses multiple features that the A-Spec has, like memory driver seat, passenger electric seat and the sunroof. I'm sorry, but it's just not worth it for a daily driver. I ended up buying an apex blue, manual A-Spec and I don't regret it. Especially since I just put the same money down that I had saved up for the Type S and ended up financing less than $10k
Always wondered why Sarah says ‘aluminium’.
Very interesting wheel colour... Pinkish bronze-ish.
Hi I love it . But how can order it? Thank you very much!
great review , thanks
Hey Sarah, I would definitely agree The type S is Way sleeker and will age so much better than the R. I hope you made it through the hurricane OK you know those Hillary’s are pretty scary. Have a great one.🐧🐧🐧👍
Tucson was nowhere near the hurricane
Looks like it took a year or two, but they’re making a legit Integra redux now. I’ve had several Acuras and think the brand is great, but the first 1.5 L version was/is a mistake IMO.
It looks like a fantastic car, but the pricing is insane. Probably 60k out the door by the time the dealer gets done with you. That's M240i money. And that ain't no M240i.
Loved your review! Don't care about that car.
I which it was sold in Australia
But does it have an upshift light?
Great review! A score of a 10 is high praise for sure. I like it better than the Civic R as well.
I would love to see you review a Porche 911 turbo s 992 series
Porsche doesn’t offer me press cars
@@SarahnTuned that's a dam shame I would have loved to see your face when you give it the bean's and doing a brake test.
So the middle rear passenger has storage for his package. Interesting 😂
Or poops?
Sarah dressed to match the car 🔥🔥🔥
Always!
That skirt 🤯
@@danielrobey1759seconded!
a 10 for sure!
Our hero has style
Sarah needs to consider a part time job as a standup comedian. I always enjoy the humor. 😄
If only the day had 32 hours...
no, it's situational humor, not a bit. Nice try though
@@gustavoflorio5383 I'm convinced that Sarah must have a clone or two helping out. One of them spends time finding her outfits that match the cars. ❤
Agreed 10000000% it’s about time Acura!
I’m thinking sitcom 😂
Amazing how much better the changes to the front end make the Type S look vs the base or A Spec
I like both 🤷🏻♀️
this is a 5 star car review! Great detail, fun and editing. Hard to believe your reviews keep getting better, Sarah!
My first real car, bought with "real" Air Force E-4 money, was a '92 Integra. To this day it's in my top 3 cars I've ever owned and now, staring down the barrel of 50, I find myself looking at Integras again.
Awesome review, Sarah.
Mine was an '89 LS and I thought it was extravagant because it was so well designed and equipped. The engine would rev to the moon (handling was "ok") Legend has it the thing is still running with over 300k miles. Wonder if they still have the vinyl bag for the removable moonroof.
Mine was a 89 civic si I bought in 92. I’ve had mostly Tacomas and 4Runners since, but 4 cars that cost 5-8 times as much as the civic and the si rules. It was awesome.
DA integras are amazing best body lines. I had a 90 gs for over 10 years. Stock to built with a super charger.
LOL same here! as an Air Force E-4, I also had an Integra Ls 92
The Savage Geese are actually from the Chicagoland area, not Canada! Though if you want some Canadian coverage, The Straight Pipes, Speed Academy and Throttle House have all covered the Integra Type S I'm pretty sure :)
Ah, I assumed Canada because goose
No worries, happens a lot in the states.@@SarahnTuned
So has Motormouth😊
The honk is different.
I always love watching the thrill on your face when you're behind the wheel of a fun car! 😅
@dougharding5231 - agreed
My Kia EV6 GT would demolish this car. Acura should've made it electric.
Hard pass on making it a heavy consumer appliance.
Amongst the top 5 car reviewers out there! We get hands on specs, cars in hoist, then honest driving impressions without the sales brochure B.S. other reviewers do.
14 more WHP is much more than 14 bhp!
Has anyone mentioned the "awesome headlights"??
Everything about the car is awesome except for the fact that it's a sedan & not a two-door sport car
That 2-3 shift was a thing of beauty. Great driving!
Love the car Sarah, looks like it would be a lot of fun to drive. 😎👌👍P.S love to hear your a cat lover, cause so am I 😻👍
The 3-door coupe that we all want... a 2025 RSX! Come on Acura, it's been almost 20 years. We miss that little canyon carver.
The Type-S exhibits greater torque in the midrange when compared to the CTR.
a shame this is 5door only. the car is so bloated & piggy now, ugh.
💯 agree
Am I the only one that gets reminded of a Genesis Coupe tailights?
Needs 2b 4wheel drive if u live somewhere where u get a cold wet, snow winter, or u can't give it the beans😂❄️
they need to put a detuned 2L in the regular Integras instead of that pos 1.5L
Agree. Had to get rid of my 2022 SI because the oil dilution was so bad.
I love the Type S, but I’ll never give up my TLX Type S or FD2 Type R. :3
I like the Type S... bit pricey though. But all vehicles are pricey now.
Shame we don't get these in Europe, seems a much more grown-up car than the Civic.
I'm way more interested in this Integra Type S than the Type R. 😅
Mostly because it'll be the more livable of the two. I drive on the streets thus this'll be more fun to drive. 😮😂
Are you 100% sure
Love this car a lot but I wish dealerships didn’t give markups. Went to a dealership and the total of the car with markup 71k!!! Might just wait a year until I get one
The grown up version of civic type R 🙂. A little disappointed Sarah didn’t wear red and black skirt to match interior. 😁
open the hood and so many civic parts but with extra plastic to cover...like battery cover, fuse cover.... similar engine cover.... it is a very expensive civic.
Why the 4 doors???
Because it's the best! 4
No strut under the hood.
Acura need to come with some. next year and name the car : Acura Type S -- Sarah édition.
Q: Why have a back seat if you don't have kids?
A: A roomy space for the dog(s)
Also, some fun things can happen in back seats....
Has anyone ever tried to make a hybrid using modern technology on a older vehicle? For instance, a 98 Type R completely inspired by 2023 type r? I'm talking lights, engine, transmission, suspension etc.
I love the sound of the engine to Thanks Sarah sharing this car with us.
You worked on your little sisters xterra.
I have replaced. Plugs, coils, injectors, o2 sensors, all 4 cats .
Truck still vibrates and putters a bit
Jonesing for a '74 Celica video! Not complaining because I know you're busy and it's not your only project! Just saying!
Starting on it this week again likely
Funny mind Sarah is always a delight 😅
Love your reviews, great content!!😍🥰🤣 Love your sense of humor as well.🥰
Absolutely adore the Type S and those bronze wheels.
Yeah you gotta watch out for those geese they are savage wink wink… especially Jack he’s a gorilla…
I had a 1999 Acura Integra
Special Anniversary Edition
2dr, Leather Seats
Power Everything
Moonroof
Dark Wine Colour
Then our 1st baby came
Sold it😭
What is your opinion on this compared to the TLX typeS?
Love the tone of your voice and how this review differs from a sea of reviews in that it comes from some one who understand how it works, knows a lot of history of cars and can easily compare anything from new cars competitors to its predecessors. Many reviews like reviewing a new appliance and don’t have the a gear head and the passion of a car enthusiast. Great work, absolutely love the love you display for projects and the fun you have while reviewing new cars
🇦🇺give it the beans
It sounds like an International Harvester Combine🤣
Isn’t Savagegeese 7:11 in Chicago?
No clue
A retro look would be great, but in truth, Im just grateful its not an SUV.
Great looking car but damn its expensive.
Inflation

My beef with the car is down to a lacking interior at that price. Would like a sunroof. Given it is a 4 door, I find it unacceptable that it has no rear vents, ports, and center armrests.
