The only thing I can say for now is that among the 5 region already released, Liyue has so many Gods competing for dominion. I can only imagine how chaotic the Archon Wars in Liyue, so much that weak Gods like Havria choose to flee rather than fight an impossible battle.
Also compare this to deshret and egeria straight up being given (deshret declined but still) their gnoses….. it feels like the only places with any “major” fighting were Liyue and inazuma (all we know in mond are Andrius ans Decarabian)
@@alliecrown2125 mondstat was pretty chaotic too with I forgot the dragon wreaking havoc. Fomtain had elynas dragon also wreaking havoc and their prophecy. But for sure liyue and inazuma being the worse of them all as it was really bad. Sumeru can be put up there as theres many many situations

Yes archon war wise mainly liyue and inazuma as they were so many gods/creatures that were candidates to be archon in those regions that it was a full blown war of destruction. The other regions as we know of so far kinda were like hey do you wanna be archon and they accepted or denied.
correction: the nail was dropped in the chasm to hold back abyssal power or forbidden knowledge in the depth of the chasm.
which means, the chasm civilization released abyssal power into the world which prompt celestia to drop the nail.
the chasm civilization IS NOT as innocent as it seems.

Depending on your theories about how Second War in Heaven went, I guess. In my version, the nails were dropped to get rid of people who knew too much about the heavens and their mysteries. To make it easier to conceal the Second's hostile takeover.
So basically Chenyu Vale reinforces that Phanes terraformed Teyvat to make it inhabitable for humans, and the natural state of Teyvat is wild and free elemental/spiritual energy. Irmisil is an artificial creation to harness the spiritual energy directing its flow, making me wonder if Phanes was using Teyvat to harvest energy or something.
Changsheng before the contract did indeed have the sunset iris that Baizhu now has, shown in Baizhu's cutscene.
[10:25] As far as I understand, the clash between both possible states of *"Natural Order"* comes from the _separation_ that the *Primordial One* seems to have inflicted upon the original state of this world, thus creating the *three realms* currently present in Teyvat: the *Light Realm,* originally ruled by the Vishaps and where all elemental beings lived, and supposedly under the power of Celestia during our journey; the *Human Realm,* which seems to originate from a big chunk of the original Light Realm, modified in order to sustain human life... and finally the *Void Realm,* which we _don't know_ if was there since the beginning or was a side-effect from the "split".
...Aaaanyway, the elemental abnormalities / leyline disorders that we observe in *Chenyu Vale* are pretty much the same ones that we saw happening in *Watatsumi Island* / *Enkanomiya* and the Sumeru forests, as the realms seem to be "naturally" inclined into merging again into one - as Enka is draining the Elemental energy that makes crops grow in Watatsumi, for example.
ohhh, i think this what might have happened too! it could explain why Irminsul is part of the human realm. and makes sense why visions are related to celestia, while the elements itself is from dragons.
Isn't dragon and elemental beings exist before Celestia invasion

Yakshas were a race of particularly fierce illuminated beasts,[1] both in appearance and their martial prowess. To quell the lingering hatred of fallen gods from the Archon War, which caused plagues, curses, and miasmas all over Liyue, Morax called upon the yakshas to help. They waged a never-ending war against the monsters and other such manifestations of the gods' hatred
Yeah, they absolutely existed during the Archon War. Xiao's backstory reinforces this timeline as well. It describes how he was forced to serve an evil god before Morax freed him. After the Archon War, there wouldn't be such a god left.

Not only this but it's shown during the Chasm quest that Bosacius actively fought in the war and was the last of the Yaksha to fall as he was mentally lost to the insanity that took all the others before he even took part in the war. He didn't even know his own name so he was recorded as a nameless Yaksha by the soldiers records but you end up seeing Bosacius a final time in the location where he and the other lost soldier had died(Obviously I know that you don't encounter him but something more like the memories.)
when it comes to whether or not irminsul is more connected to humanity or the sovereigns i would say the soverigns/vishaps. azdaha actively joined with the ley lines in order to resist erosion, neuv owns an irminsul tree that pahsiv (a vishap) takes care of, while human memories are stored with them. in chinese, ley lines are referred to as dragon veins which basically just tells us what they really are.
the fontaine glider described the primordial sea as the blood of the hydro soverign, and apep is home to an entire world of elemental beings within themselves, so i think the sovereigns make up teyvat itself. this is also why apep’s death would cause an apocalypse for sumeru, soverigns are probably the source for much of the elemental power in teyvat which is stored in their veins, the ley lines
well, considering this place is supposedly right under Celestia, Chenyu Vale story being direct parallels to Celestia is possible.
we need more archon war and heavenly war lores in genshin! All we have so far are from monds, liyue and some from inazuma...ik the main theme is cataclysm in khanreah BUT we all lore enjoyers wish to know more about the archon war and past!
We can say that Lingyuan may indeed be a descendant of dragons. Why? In Chinese myth/folklore, the dragon is known to have 9 or 12 children (depending on which story you know). Oje of his children is a Suanni.

I wonder if after the war with the "Second Who Came" the Primordial One became paranoid about keeping Teyvat under control (For humanity's sake or for his own sake?) and because of this Celestia cut off contact with humanity and Nails began to be dropped everywhere.
Overall, it seems that power of the heavens greatly diminished in that conflict. This could mean several shades dying, Primordial One getting gravely injured and anything else. A pre-conflict Primordial One would not need Celestial Nails to fix anything. And they were all out of Celestial Nails when the Cataclysm happened.
Personally, I think that's when Primordial One was killed/exiled/sealed, and somebody else (the First Usurper? The Second Who Came? a literal pheasant?) took his place. Then they had to resort to all sorts of trickery to get rid of everybody who could discover the change. Which is why people of Enkanomiya were not allowed to return.

@@roseilver Most likely, you are thinking of Neuvillette's account of how the Archon War started. Where the First Usurper was gravely wounded and could no longer suppress the world's original order or something. And so he started the Archon war.
I have no idea how he knows it.
And neither do I have proof that First Usurper is the same as the Primordial One. The only person titled usurper outside of dragons's speech is Remus, which was also called "First Usurper" in the text of one of the weapon ascension materials.
Fujin needed to harness the spirit veins only because she was heavily wounded in the previous Archon War. Otherwise, she's just the same as Lingyuan, but of course on the weaker side.
Herblord/Changsheng was also in similar situation as Fujin, but she survived by making contracts with human instead.
for me actually the biggest question itself is Archon war. we still don't know what exactly that was and how it began and why it began. Also Zhongli's words in the trailer imply that he ''didn't fight for dominion'' which means something went wrong and he wanted to defend the land not to dominate the war and be a victor for his solely reason. i really can't wait lore drop about Archon war .. still we don't have it clear yet.
Liyue must have been literal hell on earth during the archon war compared to the surrounding area
That dont seem to make sense... I feel like the heavenly principles is the first descender, while the natural order is Teyvats original form. The form, which we see the world is trying to return to...like Watatsumi want to sink back into the sea and refuse to be fertile.
I am also confused by the chronology of things here. But it must be because I just recently watched a video that claimed the god of Chenyu Vale was Guizhong. And that required a slightly different sequence of events.
Teyvat was originally ruled by dragons, the actual natives. Humans were created by the Primordial One, a.k.a. the First Descender, the Heavenly Principles, etc.

@@kotarouinugami1745impossible for Guizhong to be the God of Chenyu. Guili Assembly consists of her people who migrated to the guili plains (north of mt. Tianheng) and merge with Zhongli's people (who resided around Tianheng).

I have this weird notion that the places where there are Nails are the original places of ancient civilization who tapped into Abyssal Knowledge. Chasm prolly turned upside down because of the nail. And most of them are located in mountains, at high elevations to reach the gods more. Also, I think Zhongli is the Geo Dragon, him being a prime adeptus & having a dragon form as a beast and all-or maybe a Descender? hehehe
It is impossible for sovereign who is the original Teyvat inhabitant to be descender (from another world)
The Earth dragon sovereign is/will be the leader of Geovishap, because sovereign are the purest elemental dragon of vishap race (Neuvillette is the current leader of Bathysmal Vishap). The Ancestor of the geovishap is actually sealed within nantianmen. We need stronger vishap than Azhdaha to fill the sovereign seat.
Zhongli has no direct relation to Geovishaps, and Gods are creature of human realm based on Orobaxi's research.
Zhongli *might* be a Shade of the Primordial One, or somehow related to one, just like Venti is related to Istaroth, who is also theorised to be a Shade, but he is certainly not the Sovereign, and definitely not a descender, since he is shown to be bound by the heavenly principles in the Azhdaha quest
Do you think Orobashi is the original God from Chenyu Vale? Since in the lore it couldn't defeat Deus Auri or the Golden God and fled from Teyvat. And as a huge snake, flooding the Bishui River would make it easier to move to Guili Plains and attack Zhongli and his people.

These types of stories/histories are always the most intriguing. For instance, your final comments about having sympathy for those Chenyu Vale due to all the tribulations they survived. Where I feel, they are to be admired, because how many other countless cultures must of perished during all those tumultuous events. The fact they survived, speaks volumes of their determination and survival instinct.
Colonial stories are also extraordinary interesting. It seems more likely, that the Primordial One essentially stole Teyvat from the Dragons. And yet, when you put the morality aside, if he had not done what he had done, 90% (if not 99%) of the characters we love today would not have come to exist. Since most of them are humans or have human-like origins. The concepts of cause and effect are really something that make you ponder, if you could go back and stop him, would you? Knowing all the people of today cease to exist. Or would you allow events to unfold, leading to countless horrors... because the people of Teyvat today, wouldn't be who they are without them. Its always such a fundamental question.

The only fact i know is
- In the beginning, only light realm and void realm (a.k.a abyss) exist
- Dragons and Visharps reside within the realm of light, while humans have not yet come into existence.
- An extraterrestrial or alien known as the Primordial One, hailing from another world, emerges and engages in war with the dragons.
- After 40 years of war, the duel between the dragons and the Primordial One concluded, with the latter emerging as the victor.
- After the conclusion of the war, the Primordial One embarked on the creation of the human realm, heaven, earth, and teyvat.
- After 400 years, the Primordial One finally began the creation of humans.
- After several thousand years, the Archon War began.
- 2000 years before the game start, archon war ended
-500 years before the game start, khaenriah fall but successful killing few archon.
My question is, what will happen to human if celestial is defeated? Human realm and teyvat is likely will crumble. Will human survive? If so, human still can't live in light or void realm.

Natural Order isn't what the Heavenly Principles is translated to. It's Heavenly Order. So I'll believe the Sovereigns about what Teyvat was supposed to be before Phanes came in and terraformed the land, then created humanity.

Yes, since Fujin recognized her from the Traveler's story as living in Liyue Harbor, Herblord must be somebody we know there. And we don't know many snakes, so it must be Changsheng, the white snake that sits around Dr. Baizhu's neck.

Both Guizhiong and Morax will be truly evil and discriminated Chenyu because Chenyu is pretty fine with the teamwork of the God and her adepti before archon war.
No reason for Guizhong to left her adepti to BUILD A NEW CITY with another God in another place, bringing her people and said that her people is content and find new home (what about chenyuuu???? And Fujin??). Guizhong befriended and spending a lot of time with stronger Jueyun Adepti but Chenyu adepti never got illumination from Zhongli, why the blatant discrimination?
Both Fujin & Guizhong are Cloud Retainer's friend. But Fujin never visit Guili and Guizhong never bring her at all. What a crappy master if that is true 😂 /j
Plus, Zhongli didn't even batting an eye when Chenyu God died but he went hell bent saving everyone in Guili and built a new city for them (including for Guizhong's people in the plain). His influence entered much later to Chenyu when Fujin already vanished and the people are reduced to little tribes. Chenyu will automatically fell to his dominion after Guizhong's death just by the logic of their alliance. But no, he put his heart only to Liyue Harbor 😂

At 15:30 you talk about Menogias' mask and the "masks" dropped by Serpent Knights. I disagree with your statement about how they look similar. The drops look more like the One-Eye Norse god Odin and the whole Serpent Knights heavily reference norse Sagas/Lore with their names (there are one or two exceptions but the pattern stay the same)! While Menogias is more a reference to the Monkey-King or the "monkey" archetype within Chinese and Buddhism lore! (The statue at the last Lantern Right was to his image)

Yes, Lingyuan is also known as Bluey, because she did not bother properly introducing herself to the kid. And because she is blue in color, which is rare in nature.
Apparently, she is different from Solitary Suanni boss. But they are probably relatives.

i think you should change the title, it has nothing to do with the video and kind of misleading.
if heavenly principles is primordial one, that title conflicts with the book of sun and moon which clearly said primordial one are not from teyvat.
Well... if taken very literally, then yes, but not for the reason you're stating. I suspect that the use of "create" in the title is a bit of a poor choice of words and "first enactment of The Heavenly Principles" is perhaps a better fit, since it's still not fully understood how The Heavenly Principles has been form, even with the new lore and history from Chenyu Vale.
Regardless, even with that in mind, that does not conflict with Before Sun and Moon. The title is clearly referring to (with the context of the full video) the "natural order/law" that's been put in place within Teyvat by The Primordial One. The Primordial One can still not be from Teyvat while creating a system (The Heavenly Principles) to enforce the "natural order/law" in place today. It's the whole "I am the law" type of deal with The Primordial One and The Heavenly Principles basically as the one God ruling over Teyvat (back in early history at least).
