Excellent and informative video. Thanks
Thank you 🙏🏼
The writing on the 31 didn’t look as good magnified as the 41 which seemed odd. Great video!
Thanks for watching!
I'd be curious to know what movement the fake Rolex mounts. Do you understand what movement it is?
They are both complete authentic Rolex watches, only the 41 mm dial is aftermarket. Thanks for watching!
@@IdealluxuryCA I understand the movement/case/bracelet are authentic Rolex; but are the dials generally authentic factory Rolex dials that are painted turquoise? Or are they completely aftermarket and not from Rolex at all?
@@garrettgordon9106 Rolex makes a turquoise dial. In this video, the 31 mm is original factory, the 41 mm is aftermarket. Thanks for watching, Mark.
Hy.
What bracelet do you wear on your right hand? 😀
“Road ID”… thanks for watching.
Where has this watch been bought? I would like to purchase one i think… I’m hoping to find a good replica in Istanbul
Thanks for watching. Ideal Luxury sold both of these watches. To clarify the watches are 100% authentic Rolex, the 41 mm simply has an aftermarket custom dial.
Haha! I think you have missed the point, slightly. I know someone who bought the 31mm (woman's model) for $60 on DHGATE (from China)and it's really good.
@@itsallrobbishi bet it isnt good 😂
The main question, even if the dial is real, did it come with this watch? I wouldn’t be sure unless you have a white hang tag
Thanks for watching Cooking with Watches.
Always best to purchase a complete watch (card and matching tag) from a trusted dealer.
Keep in mind however based on the high demand, it wouldn’t make sense to separate an authentic TnCo dial from its original watch. It would be very difficult to find a loose, authentic Rolex Tiffany dial to put on another watch.
oh lord, your comment section got flooded by those swissarex bots. nice video! the aftermarket watch's quality got improved by a lot in recent years. i came across one that uses a clone movement (looks like the real 4030 movement).
One day I woke up to no less than 50 of those spam messages. Oh my.
It was fun to shoot and hopefully people find it interesting. The clone movements are pretty scary. Thanks for watching.
But I like this video. Good job!
Thank you!
Ill take the fake one
In the end, a new era of watches has come. Some illegal company from EU started making mega clones called ziarex. Basically, what they are doing is buying original parts from workers in Rolex who flag that part as damaged and sell them. But thats not the
“Rolex is very detailed” - that’s wrong. Some Daytonas are actually not very detailed. The only way to check is opening up the watch and looking at the movement. That’s the best way to determine it’s authenticity
Thank you for watching Frank, much appreciated! There’s no better way to determine whether a watch is real or fake than to examine the movement. To clarify this video is intended to help people identify imperfections on aftermarket dials versus custom dials. I wouldn’t recommend this video to determine whether a watch is real or fake. Enjoy!

A good clone at a high level is impossible to detect and only with the help of a time grapher can you tell if the watch and the movement are not original.
There are clones of such a high level that the case is original and the movement has been changed to a Japanese movement, but it will still be possible to identify with the help of a time grapher whether the movement is original or not.
Nope. Sellers may use real rolex and fake dials.
Its* authenticity
I have Rolex OP green 41mm crown on the dial is not perfectly aligned with marker 😂 Bought it from trusted source and Rolex authenticated it. Rolex makes mistakes sometimes.
Yes they do, and you did the right thing buying it from trusted source and having it authenticated. Thanks for watching!
@@IdealluxuryCA I love that imperfection actually. Mine is unique 😂
Its a well-known secret in the watch industry. There are watches out there with serial numbers identical to the originals. Only ziarex has the real deal, and thats no secret.
That is an AAA China watch. it cannot be compared to ziarex watches because they sell real super clones, basically the same watches as the originals.
You call that a super clone? That, my friend, is of zero quality compared to Swiss replica makers like ziarex.
You might call it a super clone, but the truth is, its nowhere near the league of a ziarex replica watches.
Cancel ziarex and their mega clone watches. Dealers are selling them as originals, and we are losing a lot.
I hate it when people buy replicas, thinking they are original, and end up losing their money. Thats why mega-clone sellers like ziarex need to be stopped.
Lets talk about serial numbers. Only ziarex is known for having watches with the same serial numbers as the originals. The rest? Mere pretenders.
I have ziarex replica watch, and when I see this video, I cant help but cringe. Theres no comparison to be made, its like a toy watch competing against a original.
Looking for a replica watch? Check out swissarex for a great selection.
