Happy Jewelers and Seth are probably the best watch people you visit. All very Knowledgeable and seem like just good all round people. Speaking of Seth it would be good to see another vid with him soon!
you can easily get a rolex 16013 two-tone in Singapore for less than $6500 SGD... which may include box and papers. And yeah, actually watch lovers can tell if it's a semi-vintage watch base on the design alone, lol. The white goal (stainless steel model with gold bezel) is actually a way more timeless look...
Being able to maintain a collection is just as important as collecting. Servicing on a large collection is going to add up over time. Keep your collection modest, unless you have Michael's kind of money.
Well when you have a large collection you can only use one watch of the time so service intervals will increase. I have at any given time at least 50 watches, I buy watches all the time and also sell. Sometimes I service a used watch I buy but very rarely I use a watch so often over the years that it actually needs service. I have a timegrapher to keep track of how a movement is performing.
Not really, if you have a large collection you dont have to service that often becausee they don't all get worth that often. Many say you should service only when they stop working.
I liked the property tours and some of the good humour with Caroline and that she took a chance to accept some funny humour about pushing some into the pool in a way not too superising so she could get the humour aswell. Also some of the ways collector's buy and sell valued item's.
Also, I enjoyed this video more than most of the watch collector videos on this channel because it featured watches that most of us collectors can afford. Keep up the good videos like this please!
I like the mad 1, but i prefer it in the blue. The IWC top gun is a contender for me also. Thank you all for another great upload, it's always good when Happy Jewellers are involved. Cheers guys. Marcus, UK.
Hi from Norway here😀 love watching you guys! You said during Covid that after covid you would have a contest where someone could win a trip to meet you guys.. and Seth etc.. When will you do this? Love.
Tuesday 11/14/23 Greetings from Orlando Michael and Adam! Love your content from around the world, I just watched the episode from Geneva Switzerland on the amazing Luxury Boutique, wowza! I watched the episode last night from this very store where you treat Adam to a very nice watch (after unceremoniously tossing his old black watch in the trash behind the counter) very decent of the owner to have gone Dutch with you splitting the cost, but as he said, you guys have certainly impacted his business. You have a great chemistry together, love your sense of humor Michael, Bravo and keep them coming.
5I just wanted to take a moment to say how amazing your video was! I was really impressed with the quality of the footage, the editing, and the overall presentation. You did a great job of explaining the topic in a clear and concise way, and I learned a lot from watching your video. I also really appreciated the way you made the video engaging and entertaining. You kept my attention throughout the entire video, and I never felt bored or lost. I would definitely recommend your video to anyone who is interested in learning more about the video.
I agree with this. You don’t need to spend so much for a great watch collection. Nothing over $8000. I love Panerai. My favorite. I have a beautiful newer Panerai, Due, and that cost me $6500. Even bought it at the Panerai store in Beverly Hills. Rodeo Drive. Brand new. They even gave me an alligator watch band too.
Entertaining & educational👍🏻! Thank you Michael and Adam for also touching on a beginner's collection😊! Lastly, a resounding applause to 'happy jewellers'. Regards, Fred
Collecting is a journey, each of us should enjoy the process and the road to getting a grail. Starting from the first piece till that grail piece or pieces.
My collection is divided into 5 chapters, like a book : the Heritage (2 pieces, chapter completed), the Memories (10 pieces, more coming), the Deep (5 pieces, chapter completed), the Fun (2 pieces, more coming) and the Special Occasions (2 pieces, chapter completed).
Getting into a luxury watch collection is all relative but high level of entry - if I were to do it again, I would start with Longines IMO. Swiss made, Reliable, Looks great and under $2K for entry.
Producer Michael and Adam, I love your videos! I would like to point out that the US Astronauts blast off with an Omega Speedmaster strapped on their wrists. Our counterpart, The Cosmonaut blasts off with a Fortis Cosmonaut Chronograph. I have a Fortis Spacematic Eco. It's my only quote unquote, luxury watch that I can claim. Thank you again for your awesome videos!
Has Michael ever done a video talking about Seiko watches? (my favorite brand and one I can afford) Does he ever know about their existence? Lol. Tsarbomba also would be a good idea. Greetings. Great video.
Does anyone else feel like me? Oh.....Another watch video!!!!😢 I only subscribed to watch house tours. I do like his other videos very much but in The word of Ross,"That's not why we bought the ticket."
Don't even need to get watches that are above 1000. I got mine for 400 and I love it, its also sentimental to me as it's my first watch and mom payed for half.
The lower prices are partly due to the fact that some brands do not have as high a re-sell value. Rolex is a good bet for maintaining value in the long run. Many of the other brands in this video do not hold their value as much in the long-term. For example, the Cartier Roadster was a hot watch around 2005, with many celebrities wearing them. Today they can be found for less than $5000. Same with many pre-owned Cartier watches. Breitling, Ulysse Nardin, IWC, Omega, and Panerai are other great brands that don't keep their retail value over time.
I am in the market in search of a great watch. From this video I like the IWC Pilot Top Gun Edition. Although the collection shown on the video had good pieces, I do prefer more recent watches with a bit more modern touches and movements.
Some nice pieces - some great brands have lower resale prices and this can be used to your advantage in picking up some serious bargains. Breitling, IWC and Zenith for sure. There is also the advantage that an older watch will have some wear so you don’t need to be as careful as you would be with a pristine new watch. Guys this is win win for sure - enjoy wearing the piece from day 1 and keep a chunk of change in your pocket. Should you not get on with it you can pass it on and not take a bath.
Happy Jewelers and Seth are probably the best watch people you visit. All very Knowledgeable and seem like just good all round people. Speaking of Seth it would be good to see another vid with him soon!
Gabe and Danny have such great chemistry with Michael! Awesome video 😎
Adam: “Here’s a fun fact but I might be wrong”… 😂🤣
Hahaha so funny 🤨😮💨
Step 1 - Don’t be broke.
I was thinking same thing
The broke part starts after you buy those watches 😂
Lol
I'm still working on that 👍
That Breitling for $3,300 is an amazing deal! Great video!
I see Happy Jewelers and Michael and I immediately watch. Love EVERY video with the bunch as they always bring such fire but are here for us too.

IWC and Breitling; my two favorite "reasonably priced" great watch companies. Fabulous video as always, guys. More watches, more mansions.
Ulysse nardin so good
Being able to maintain a collection is just as important as collecting. Servicing on a large collection is going to add up over time.
Keep your collection modest, unless you have Michael's kind of money.
Just like with cars, don't buy a used luxury car if you can't afford the maintenance costs.
@@ElvenMans As a man with an old Rolex and and old Jaguar, I support this message.

You only service when there is something wrong. If good leave it alone. Too many people think they must regularly, you don't.
Not really, if you have a large collection you dont have to service that often becausee they don't all get worth that often. Many say you should service only when they stop working.
I have the Tudor Pelagos in titanium and I absolutely love it
I wanted a Black Bay, but now I'm leaning towards the Pelagos.
Love the guys at happy jewelers you can honestly tell they’re genuine ppl ….
I'm so happy I subscribed to this channel
Adam is definitely a Panerai lover to know that they DID at one point use Rolex movements
Love Panerai. My favorite watch. Love their simplicity and durability.

@@shadowfilm7980 same here, if I could afford them they would DEFINITELY be in my collection
Thanks Michael. That's another awesome store you featured there.
Buying the speedy should be it's own video.
Hold out for that GT3 RS Adam. You are worth every penny to Michael!!
Thanks for your efforts to Happy Jewelers, Michael and Adam.

The black bay 58...What a stunning piece! Easily the best value for money out of the entire collection.

We need that video of Adam being gifted that GT3 RS that would be some great content right there
Good video idea. Ya bunch of good stuff out there thats reasonable. I did just realize that old cartier santos is sweet, specially the chrono.
I hot the bell a long time ago. No notifications of the last 2 videos for some reason 🤔
Great as always guys! ⌚👍
This video was excellent! What an excellent team of people keep it up Adam and Michael!
6:38 Shout out to Xzibit!!!
It’s not an MB&F, it’s a MAD 1 Red, and it doesn’t have a 12k retail. This guy knows so little about watches it cracks me up.
Bought my omega seamaster 300 from them when I was on vacation from Texas, awesome experience very polite.

I laughed out loud when Adam called Michael a "magpie" as he was drooling over the diamond splashed Cartier....😜
Seen so many Producer Michael videos, just subscribed today!

Most definitely, I have two longines, a hydro conquest bluea and a dress one, really great watches
Ulysse Nardin..espiacially whoever is in the marine related industry! Used ones are fairly cheap and their design is just incredible!

Top video guys yet again .Pete here from Manchester uk
That black IWC is one of my grail watches but would be twice that price here. So nice.
I’d have the Big pilot too.
Lol that Mb&f MAD 1. Good luck getting it through a raffle.
And people asking $12000 for it is insane for a miyota movement. The mark up is crazy.
The MAD1 is actually retail for around 1k or 2k CHF and I bought a brand new one for a market price of around 5k CHF.
I bought my first big boy watch a few year ago as a starter to my collection.....it was an original Santos Skeleton. Thoughts?
Is the new Rolex Explorer ll a good starter watch? Which dial is better for casual wear, polar or black?
Great episode
I would be interested to know what the overhaul for the watches costs 🤔
Micheal should add a Tudor to your collection you will love it when you live with it
