The daisy technique was cool to learn and I love the way it turned out. It’s hard to pick a favorite.I am partial to anything with silver but also I’m loving luster dust. 😂
Thank you! You can definitely reuse the candy melts. For the marble for example, if you mix the white and pink you just create a lighter pink and you can easily remelt it and use it for another project! :)
@@Ganjafairy86 Not really, I feel like the best way really is to cut the mold and do each heart by itself. Silicone molds can be great but they aren't the easiest to use when it comes to creating a chocolate shell without using a finger or paint brush. You could most likely find a similar mold made out of plastic or polycarbonate that would be much easier for filling and dumping if you'd like to try that method!
There’s no reason to waste the chocolate. She is most likely using cheaper candy melts but still is completely unnecessary. I make these all the time and you don’t have to dump anything out of them and can make them without even needing a second coat around the edges.
@@dudemorris7769 Right, also like I mentioned above, if you plan your colors right you can just create a new color with the leftover and reuse it for another project. I never throw away the candy melts that I dump out, I always reuse things as much as possible.
This silver is from Pastry Ideale, but sadly I've learned it isn't "edible" just non-toxic so I don't recommend using it. My favorite brand of edible gold and silver is from Jenna Rae Cakes or Fancy Sprinkles
@@BrittneeKay hi 👋 Brittnee Thank you 😊 for the reply, I am interested in trying some candy 🍫,chocolate Mold making soon I will let you know how it goes. Mary .
Yes play around with consistency! I can’t remember but I think here I used a small brush and tapped it against my fingers so the paint flies off and creates larger splatter! You can also use your finger to flick the paint or a toothbrush!
Thanks! I did get a little bit of air bubbles but that is the reason that before I fill them completely with the blue I pipe around each flower to help fill in those small corners better. If you’re doing that and still have little bubbles use a smaller tip and really get in there with the background color and even give the mold a tap on the counter! Hope this helps!!
Check out my video here on the best edible gold paint. In the description box you will find links where you can buy the paint on Amazon. I recommend purchasing PCB or Bakell, those are the prettiest! ruclips.net/video/OyWfiyqKQX8/видео.html
Great video😋 what is the metallic silver/gold you used to decorate? I’ve seen some people use silver/gold dust and add a small amount of vodka to make it a liquid. If this is what you did does it have any effect on the taste?
Thanks!! Yep, you can use vodka but I prefer lemon extract because it smells so good. Vodka won't leave any flavor behind but lemon can leave a tiny hint behind sometimes...but I hardly notice it! For some of my favorite metallic powders you can check out this video: ruclips.net/video/OyWfiyqKQX8/видео.html
I don’t use water, it takes too long to evaporate! Use something with high alcohol content like vodka or lemon extract. I always use lemon extract cause it smells soooo good 🙂🙂
@@angelchen9490 Yes, it should be. But I would check the instructions from the brand that you purchased the mold from. Or you can just test it in the oven and see 😆
I think for this particular video I just used a box cake and canned frosting because I was focused on the designs the most. I just add frosting to the baked cake until it’s the texture I like 🙂
@@BrittneeKay I still don’t understand this the cost of chocolate what about you time work on it also cleaning dishes washing 😊 Then it’s means not worth it 😊😊
@@yummycakes4422 This is a personal decision that you have to decide on. How much time you put into your work is unique to you. Start backwards with the cost of the items. Do a bit of math to determine how much each piece costs. Then you can go from there on adding how much you'd like to earn from your time and talents on top of that. I will admit, it was pretty satisfying!! Felt kinda wrong to do! 😂
Watching you put the blue over the daisies was reeealy relaxing 😌
☺️ There is something very satisfying about that!
This is just so fun to watch. They are all gorgeous but I'm partial to the white and gold. It just such a rich look.
Thank you! I agree, you cannot go wrong with a simple gold and white!

Hey how do u create the gold splatter
Been struggling with it maybe the consistency or the brush?🤔

Hi ! Very cute I have a question
The hearts with daisies you don’t get a lot of air bubbles around them ?I try to make it and that happens

If you’re doing that and still have little bubbles use a smaller tip and really get in there with the background color and even give the mold a tap on the counter! Hope this helps!!
Are the colour u put is food colour or special colour for truffles
The colors in this video are just precolored candy melts!
Can i use couveture chocolate instead of candy melts?
Yes! It would be awesome if you did! I only use couverture chocolate now! : )
@@BrittneeKay great. Thank you :)
Of course!! ❤@@harpaloberoi3973
Nice vdo my querry is that for how much time we can keep them in fridge or outside means life of cake hearts
I would say a week in the fridge or a couple days out of the fridge. That's just a guess though! :)
Was the white and purple color also white chocolate and purple coloring?
Yes the white are white candy melts and the purple are purple melts, but I believe I mixed some pink and blue and white to create that specific color!
@@BrittneeKay thank you! ♥️

'Music' very annoying 😮 love the designs
