I recommend Shell Bell to give you back HP based on how much Damage you do. Basically it is like life steal.
That's a good idea!
Where do i get the shell bell?
Yes the bell is a game changer and provides insane heals
@@wavy1880 south area 3 I believe. Should be 6 trainers so just ask the rep before to be sure

This guide was seriously helpful and gave me something to do other than mindlessly shiny hunt for friends since I already completed the main and post story. I’m not done yet since I need sleep but will definitely be coming back to this video.
Awesome, good luck with Charizard
Thanks! I actually just got it on my first try after finishing the build. Again, this was really helpful and this is the first time I built a Pokémon
Thank You for explaining the EV process as no other guide explained it and I’m new to EV training. 😃
Awesome, glad to help
Evolve your eevee into vaporeon
Thank you so much for the video :D Finally someone showing properly how to train a pokemon and which items to use and the process
Glad I could help!
Yes thank you
Any chance you could do full builds for other pokemons like Arcanine and Annihilape :D
Seriously, you did the Lord's work in this video, extremely helpful! Thanks!
Thanks
I followed everything in your guide tonight and I just 1 shot solo'd Charizard. I really appreciate the help bud!
Awesome work 👍😁
Than you for your content, will definitely subscribe
Glad to help
Also if anyone is wondering right now, in reference to changing a Pokémon's natural nature, using mints changes the STATS not the natural nature of said pokemon. The stats change to match the nature of the mint that you feed said Pokémon. Don't worry if the nature doesn't change. It's the stats that matter.
That's correct 💯
I used 2 adamant mints because i didn't realize it at first
Ahh, I'm so glad I read your comment. It saved me the 4 other mints on my bag I was about to feed it. 😵
And I already fed it 2 adamant mints
I agree to use shell bell but I also think it needs to be 1 attacker and 3 helping hand users. 3 should protect turn 1 and the other bellys.. turn 2 3 helping hand and the other play roughs. Huge damage and attacker never dies with what it recovers
Yeah that would be ideal!
You can find the mirror herb and Leftovers at The water type gym in Cascarrafa at Delibird Preaents for $30,000 and $20,000 poke dollars.
You can find the Shell bell at the Electric type gym in Levincia Delibird Preaents for $20,000 poke dollars.
Edit: You can also find nature mints and EV pills at Chansey Supply at any town for $20.000 just for one mint and $10.000 for one EV pills
Thanks for adding this
04:03 'I like to think I'm killing the Pokémon for some reason. It makes me more relaxed.'
Now hold on, you little psychopath! XD
Hahaha
I had already gotten charizard with some friends who carried me by the time I've found this, but I'm using this to my advantage to hopefully take down the Cinderace raid next year. thanks
Very nice!
I looked at his natural learned moves and here are the types of the moves:
Fire, Dragon, Normal, Rock, Flying, Fighting and Grass (Solar beam)
I think Azumarill biggest problem is the last one, at least until it changes type to fairy so watch out for solar beam.
Charizard only has fire, dragon and flying moves in the event luckily
@@ConCon yeah and I already got one with a team of 3 Azumarill and a Baxcalibur
I think he has focus blast too.
Guide is amazing and been following it well, one thing I'd say is that after spending 300k on adamant mints trying to change the nature of the pokemon, I found out that it doesn't change on the summary screen. As this is my first time doing this I am a little clueless it seems.
Yeah don't know why they did that, but look at the arrows on your stats to see if it's correct
Why if you thought it didnt work the first time would you keep trying the same way? lol
@Dennis Reynolds it's not that I thought it didn't work, I checked a few other guides and they all said I needed to use multiple (all unspecified) without telling you how to tell if it was working. So I just pressured I didn't use enough.
Basically need to turn this pokemon is a big tank to take the hits the Charizard will have! Good to know! Hopefully I can finish the post game stuff to unlock the 6 star raids and also try to get the Pokemon to lvl 100
Well the major reason is it's high damage as a fairy type. The ability it has, "huge power" doubles the attack stat. Then Belly Drum move increases attack by 6 levels. Using play rough then deals an absurd amount of damage, especially to something weak to fairy moves which in this case will be the Dragon tera type charizard.
@@ConCon ah ok so basically with those moves it'll do a lot more damage since dragon types are weak to fairy types, good to know also I think it would also be a good idea to also use some PP up on play rough that way we can use the move even more during the raid after using belly drum
Definitely a good idea to do that
@@ConCon awesome

Azumarill may need some support, my thought was bring 3 azumarill and a Blissy, the azumarills set up by using helping hand and belly drum while the blissy player cheer heal or use life dew

youre a legend man, just did my charizard solo!! THANK YOU
Well done 👍
Cool guide, didn't really wanna mess with my internal clock so i just ate a ham sandwich and did my EV training on Chanseys near Team Star's fairy camp. 2 HP EVs instead of Attack, pretty much same result in the end.
Yeah that works too!
Is something wrong with maxing out Evs with just vitamins like Hp up and zinc?
@@weeweesuke3271 if you've got the cash to spend on vitamins, go for it.
You say halved the weirdest way i ever heard, I like that. Consider me subscribed.
Really?? Haha that's odd. Thanks for subbing though 😁
Question, I've never really trained a pkm from scratch but I have a freshly hatched azurill to train. Do I basically do the hyper training then ev training before anything else? Then once that's done I can worry about evolving it yes?
Basically yeah. You hypertrain and ev train the stats you want. For a raid Azumarill you’ll want to max out your EV’s in HP and ATK. Also you’ll want an adamant nature (mints help). After that just level up
It doesn't really matter in what order you do it, but I do tend to evolve it first and if I can level to 100. But you can do it in any order
I just followed your setup & beat the charizard in first attempt solo. Thanks very much 💪
Nice work 👍
"I like to think that I am killing the pokemon, it makes me feel more relaxed" :D
Hahaha I mean, at least I didn't just KO them in the wild and leave them there to suffer you know.
I ran a florges with 3 azumarills i had light screen with light clay helping hand and rain dance for when charizard sunny days and moonblast (which i never used) florges just eats the hits from charizard and never dies
Awesome 👍
Thanks for the tuto i made a Azurril like u say and i beat a charizard in 4min
Nice work!
For EV train Azumarill, in your video i saw you use power bracer, on internet i saw on website states to use power band for ev train azumarill. So which should i use? Powrr band or power bracer?
Power band is for Special Defense, Power bracer is for attack
Genuine question, would it be worth soaking the Charizard to change its type to water at all? Azurill soaked while iron hands belly drum buff lightning fist?
No idea, you'd have to try it
Hi guys, new here, about evs training do I have to go all the way to lv100 to level this? Also is the graphic updating when I defeat foes or it updates until I beat the total I need to max ev train?
You don't have to be max level. And the graph will update constantly as it gets higher to 252 in a stat
liquidation over aqua tail. while you loos 5 in power you have 100 acc over 90. also you may redeuce def meaning more effective damage over all. but thats a theory on my part.
Fair enough, if you get unlucky and miss
The defence drop is a godsend vs raids tbh
100% liquidation over 90% aqua tail. 5 power is overcome quickly when lowering defense, which is great for the raid. Team work.
@@ConCon thing is I have missed play rough which is the same power and accuracy four times in a row. So I am very unlucky
So...do I just keep resetting the time on my switch to a different date til I get the outbreaks I want?
Yes, it helps if you set time to 23:59 and let it hit midnight to force a change if one doesn't happen. You just need an outbreak that has a pokemon with an EV yield that you want
thanks to you, i one shotted a tera battle lol
Epic!
Hey cant get 252 ev in health. Should i just use a different booster? Unsure tbh speed is decently spiked and so is sp atk although atk is max ev
You may have use this pokemon in battle before and accidentally gave it other EVs. Check this guide to understand the system better: ruclips.net/video/m18FdkR2bR4/видео.html
Quick question - do I need to have completed a certain amount of 5/6 Star raids to get the 7 Star one? I got the game a biiit late Nd hipe to be able to catch my Charizard in the 2nd wave
You need to have unlocked 6 star raids for the 7 star to be unlocked. But the charizard event was only for 3 days, and then again in the middle of december for another 3 days.
wouldnt ability shield be the best item? that way you maintain your double attack when the raiding pokemon nunalfies oppenent ablilities?
Shell bell is actually the preferred meta. It heals you to full on each attack
For held item, Shell Bell is the best there is by far.
Yes thank you
Ability capsule not working on my azumaril, it says “cannot use”. Any idea why?
If you have a hidden ability on it then it won't change back to normal with an ability capsule
Can we use iron hands to get belly drum or does it have to be him ?
Any pokemon with belly drum is fine for the egg move teaching
Hi can someone help me?? I put the mirror herb on my iron hands for it to learn Belly drum I followed everything having a Pokémon with belly drum and my irons hands with one open slot. It work copy the belly drum though? I’ve looked up multiple videos and reddits posts and it seems no one is having this issue? I’m following th exact picnic steps etc, someone please help :(
Iron hands learns the move at level 84. Mirror herb only works for the Pokémon's egg moves, you can't pass on a move unless it's classified as an egg move for iron hands
@@ConCon thank you! I ended up finding another video where someone says he learns it at level 84, which explains why it wasn’t working with the mirror herb. I didn’t know 😅
Can someone help. Why am I getting stars on my attack EV, but its limited at 218 attack. I think I messed up because I didn't max the protein before doing max EV training. Now it shows stars on the one graph but it isn't all the way out the other.
If you have 218 attack then you have the correct amount
@@ConCon oh okay I thought you said 248 was max
I wasn’t able to get the plus 6 speed afterwards. It told me it had no effect
Then your EVs are already at 510 total. The extra 6 must be in something else
so can you still ev train if your pokemon is level 100?
Yes
Can’t seem to get hp up to max. Any ideas on what I might have done wrong?
If you battled before with the Pokemon it gains EVs. You might have ev trained other stats too. Certain berries can lower them by 10 if you want to fix that
Mine doesnt have that ability ? Tried catching different ones & all end up having thick fat
You can use the "ability capsule" on it to swap abilities
Im a bit new to this ev training but you need to defeat all revavrooms with azumarill or does the whole party gain ev?
well the whole party gains the EV yield from revavroom, so they all get +2 Attack EVs, but Azumarill with the power item gets the extra +8 Attack EVs from holding the power bracer item. The rest only get the 2 evs
Thank you
Can you level up ev's through items or can you only do it by farming?
You can do it with the nutritious drinks that give 10 EVs for each one. The reason I don't use them is because they cost 10000 dollars for 1. So it would cost over 500000 dollars to fully EV train. Or you can spend 20 minutes battling outbreaks instead of spending that money haha
if you have unlimited money items are the fastest, however that means you're duping money/items because killing wild pokemon while holding the EV bracers is considerably faster than farming the amount of money required for vitamins
@ConCon I appreciate it, that will save me a lot of money and time.
can aqua jet be a good option in place of aqua tail?
No, you want to use Physical moves instead of special ones
The ev training part does not seem to be working for me for some reason I've killed far more than 26 revaroom and not saying its maxed out
Is it holding the held power item?
@@ConCon having the same issue killed over 30+ and nothing is going up. I have the held item on it too like you mentioned.
can you fast attack the pokémon instead of engaging them in battle to gain evs?
No, you have to attack them in battle this way
@@ConCon alright thanks
Also the reason your azumarill is dying in the clip is because its being hit by steel type moves, charizard may have either metal claw or iron tail. Metal claw is weak and iron tail is not very accurate.
Yeah, but it's not the tankiest pokemon so getting hit is a big weakness to it.
@@ConCon Does this it would be more effective to increase defence EV's compared to HP? Or perhaps go half-half?
why my arum only 376hp although it max iv hp and attack
and my second arum cant make it iv up
Did you EV train?
The link in description took me to azu page not the ev yields chart.
Never mind I got it thanks!
Glad you got it
Do you only need to use the adamant mint once?
Yes, the arrows on the stats is the only thing that changes so check if you have the right increase and decrease
You can earn +3 atk EVs from great tusks and brute bonnet in Scarlett
Then you just need to defeat 23 of them, but can you reliably find 23 of them and be able to one shot them? They have a lot of defense. If you do one like I did, you only have to defeat about 28.
@@ConCon play rough and liquidation being used by a level 85+ poke can 1 shot them but the spawn rate varies. It took me about 15-20 minutes adventuring around the lower levels of the crater.
so... question here please folks, if he's at 252 attack ev, why does it show 218 on the attack part before pressing the L button? is it like base stats then L is ev stats? - why don't we get to see the "252" number anywhere? any explanation would be super nice please (:
So the 218 is my actual stat for attack. This is influenced by 4 things;
Level (Your stats increase as you level up)
IV (affecting how high this number can be, ideally you want a "best" IV for maximum amount).
Nature (most natures for pokemon come with a increase to one stat and a decrease to another, shown as the red up arrow and blue down arrow next to the stats affected)
EVs (known as effort values, these affect apply an effective % boost to the stats that have EVs added. EVs are capped at 510, and only 252 can go into a single stat to reach it's maximum boost which you know from the stars around the stat. This means you can spread the 510 EVs any way you want. But people prefer pushing maximum EVs into 2 stats and the last 6 left over EVs into something else.)
@@ConCon ahhh, makes sense, thank you so much for explaining! didn't expect such a detailed reply haha, huge respect pal, thank you (:!!

Not sure about that
Play rough is the problem. I dont even like using my azumarill anymore because its so annoying watching the hp reset

You have to get that via TM
Why give it draining kiss when it is a sp atk and your dropping special attack with the mint... It'll barely heal anything
That's a good point, instead you can use a Shell Bell as the held item and heal each time you use play rough instead.
ConCon: I like to kill pokemon for some reason, it makes me more relax
Revavroom: ''Chuckles'' I'm in danger

That means you used the pokemon in other battles before and it gained evs from those pokemon you beat. You can east certain berries to lowers (one stat) by 10 for each berry.

Okay good luck
I see a lot of people recommending shell bell, and while that is a good recommendation, Sitrus Berry may be better to avoid getting KO’d the turn you belly drum

If you have the money do vitamins yes

You need to kill 28 of them, you'll see it move after about 10
vitamins for ev training also work
Yes but they cost 10000 for 1 drink that adds only 10 EVs. You need to use 25 for each stat plus 2 feathers to max it out to 252. It will cost you 500000 pokedollars
@@ConCon There are farms where one can grind pokemon materials till they get the money. That or use amulent coin with every battle and get 120,000 per re elite four rechallenge It would take 5 rechallenges to get the necessary amount.
