- This is a guide on how to auto farm unlimited amounts of money or poke dollars in the Pokemon Scarlet or Violet games. This method makes use of farming the ace tournament over and over, even with a turbo mode controlled spamming the A key while using this specific Sylveon build. Go become rich over night while being afk.

You don't need an ability patch if you caught an Eevee with Anticipation during the last eevee tera raid event.

Whattt I caught so many in the raid event but none of them had anticipation it’s annoying because I have plenty in Pokémon Shield and Pokémon Home.
What does anticipation do? I know it let's the user know when a pokemon has a dangerous move or something but how does that help the afk farm?
WARNING: While this works for base game, in Indigo Disk the pokemon you fight here are a lot harder and Sylveon can't win anymore alone.

I can vouch that this is NOT 100% fool proof. Not sure which trainer I lost to, but I set up the farm with my turbo controller, went to sleep and woke up repeatedly healing at the last Pokémon center I had used. I was 3.6M richer. My Sylveon is level 100 with Pixilate, holding the Amulet Coin. 31 in all IVs except HP (Hyper Trained) and attack. EVs are 252 Sp Attack, 78 Def, 180 Speed.
@@Scynide means you did something wrong. I've run it for over 60 hours and never lost. Is your nature correct? Do you have pixillate? Did you ev train correctly?
To clarify on the EVs
252 sp. atk. is 25 calcium and 2 genius feather
Also for 78 defense, 7 iron and 8 resist feathers.
And for speed you can use 18 simply because each one is 10 so you get the needed 180.
You can find feathers ALL OVER the sea by where you faced the dragon titan.

I caught a sylveon in a 6 star raid and it already had it's hidden ability (Also can be any terra type since it is irrelevant for this AFK method) . So if you get it to spawn in a raid you might be able to get the hidden ability without the use of an ability patch.
I think that also applies to pokemon on 5 star raids since i got a Corviknight with it's HA from one.

I did the same, I found a 5 star eevee and saw it had anticipation so I caught that for this method

I was using a Flutter Mane for auto farming but it kept breaking after ~1h. I'm using this build for two days now and it's so much more consistent and works like a charme. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve used Fluttermane the last two days with only one time of failure, modest, 252 sp. attack, 252 HP, bottle capped with an amulet coin. I honestly think the only reason for that failure was a crit from either scizor or toxapex
@@jjjeremy9999 its only failed once for me, made max poke coins running it over night
So I did some calcs (assuming none of the NPC’s have any beneficial natures or EV’s - the best scenario) and there’s apparently one very slim chance of losing with this build if you picked Quaxley as a starter!
Nemona can KO you if she high rolls a few attacks:
Her Lycanroc uses Accelerock and lands a crit
Her Orthoworm survives your attack (1/4 chance) and doesn’t miss + crits with Iron Tail
Her Skeledirge crits with Torch Song *or* you get a non-fatal crit (5/16 chance you KO) and put it into Blaze range
Other than this freakish run of odds, this is a pretty full-proof strategy. Thanks so much for uploading!
Edit: Sylveon died less than 2 hours into this. Unsure how, will look into it further when I can. Gardevoir with Draining Kiss holding a Metronome is decent and has survived an 8hr overnight session but has its issues as well.
With some theorycrafting, I think Tinted Lens Venemoth holding Specs with Buzz Buzz is guaranteed success. Give it Special Att + Def investment
You can also try chi yu, I've done about 20 hours without faint with it
@@ConCon Chi Yu can lose at the first try it's countered by hariyama if it doesn't crit/flinch haha
Been running this for 4hrs straight. Its important to follow the exact EV used in the video especially for speed because some of their mons will outspeed you. Also been experimenting with Iron Valiant

@@ConCon Update: Sp atker Iron Valiant with Amulet coin and Moonblast is working flawlessly. Takes less EV to consume as I probably only need to max out SP atk. The only problem is not being able to one shot some mons similar problem with Hypervoice Sylveon. Sylveon might be a bit faster though just because of the Hypervoice animation. Iron Valiant is more reliable if you want to leave it overnight as sylveon can get knocked out sometime with bad RNG

Took me a few days to get my Sylveon up and running as I was a bit slow in beating the game but I've been using this the last few days and after about 20 hours of farming in total I have yet to see Sylveon lose. Watching a few battles from time to time I do see that it gets extremely close with Sylveon at critical health and burned but so far he's always managed to pull through.

Mine lost to Scizor. I'm not sure how, I only noticed it as the battle was finished.
Went ahead and tried this. Totally worked. Here's a break down of the math I came up with (using a turbo controller):
Takes ~12mins per tourney. On average each tourney gives ~120,000. 5 tourneys/hour means you're making ~600,000/h. The money cap is 9,999,999. So it takes ~17 hours give or take to max your cash.
My game ran for almost 24 hours solid.

i bred my hidden ability eevee as i had coincidentally caught both a male hidden ability leafeon and female hidden ability glaceon previously- wasn't sure how to build the evs completely though so this was very helpful!

This is now out of date for those who have finished the indigo disk DLC as it seems that it makes the Pokemon levels higher than 70

This method is amazing! I just completed the Academy Ace Tournament for the first time (so I still don't have access to 6 star tera raids), hence I'm using a Cute Charm Sylveon with Moonblast (all IVs but Attack maxed-out and the same EV spread as in the video)
It's been running for almost 2 hours now and I wanna leave it overnight, I hope it's still grinding by the time I wake up!

About 14.5 hours since the AFK started, Sylveon was finally knocked out for the first time (probably 3 crits in a row from Nemona)
In that time, Sylveon made me a little bit over ₽ 7M, quite awesome!

Ive seen people use flutter mane with choice specs
Any eeveelution with a hidden ability can be gained from 5-6 star raids too. Breeding it with an everstone will usually get it onto eevee.
I had a pixiliate Sylveon which I gained from a 6 star raid lying around.

I hate to be the "uhm actually" guy but Everstone passes the nature down to the offspring, hidden abilities always have a 60% chance of being passed down
I'll try Sylveon. I've been suing Chi Yu for a week. Afk all night and no problem. Last night all the stars aligned against me and Chi Yu failed.
It's rare but both have a small chance of failing

This guide is great! I personally like Chi-Yu more because imo it’s more fun to destroy the opponents with a legendary, but if you don’t want to go through the work of getting all the stakes I would definitely follow this vid!

Pixilate Sylveon was meta in Sword/Shield battle tower and even in ranked. I was so happy the first tera raid event in ScarVio was Eevee :D

i personally prefer Chi Yu as it sweeps generally mons die in 1 hit. Hariyama takes 2 hits. sylveon takes 3 hits. so faster money. Also since chi yu is already out speeding all the mons at lvl 100, u can go for more defensive spread. I run mine with 252 SPa, 180 Def, 76 Hp. this lets u have faster and more consistent runs. been running it for more than 10 hours (yes i have been purchasing a lot of vitamins) and haven’t died ever since. Sylveon is pretty cool tho i’m a bit sceptical on it bypassing skeledirge as i started off with quaxley.
Ahh I see yeah I started with sprigatito and it works fine using sylveon. But I did do a chi yu build too and it works really well as well.

I was down to bare bones when I started my sylveon build I manage to get it to level 89 only had to use one bottle cap because it was from a 5star raid so hypertrained speed and left attack it’s now level hundred and hasn’t died yet thanks for the grate video

Set up my Sylveon as he says in the video, let my game run through the day while at work. I came back home and turned on my TV to find myself at a pokemon center healing Syl over and over. looks like this isn't 100% guaranteed, something can crit and KO Syl at some point in the run I'd guess. just a head's up
Hmm interesting, must require multiple crits from several pokemon for that to happen. I haven't been beaten in over 20 hours farming
@@ConCon could've been from one of Penny's eeveelutions. My Sylveon (with your build) did have a hard time with Flareon and Sylveon. But not to the point that my Sylveon died (at least, not yet anyway).
Flutter mane lv 100 max sp atk max defense choice specs
Probably by a 2 bullet punch crit by Scizor. Flutter Mane with Choice Specs 1 shots that Scizor.

I tried both , hyper voice sometimes doesn't one shot everything , moon blast does also I put everything in speed and I never get KOd or joltian out speeding me , but good video in general I got the overall idea from you :) keep it up
the only gripe is that ability patch are rare and you REALLY don't need it to do this build , you could've tested both
I commented this earlier: although it can’t be AFK farmed, Hisuan Zoroark has Happy Hour, which doubles the prize money from a battle, which also stacks with Amulet Coin meaning instead of 2x, it’s 4x amount of money. Do you think it’s worth sacrificing the afk advantage for the 4x gain?
Depends on you I guess. I can afk farm the whole night for 8 hours+ for you that would be 2 hours doing the battles
@@ConCon Would it be possible to have a turbo controller that follows a sequence in which after joining the Ace Academy Tournament, Hisuan Zoroark uses Happy Hour, and then switches to another Pokemon (Preferably the Sylveon shown in this video)using U-Turn or just manually which then swipes the opposing team? My turbo controller arrives in 2-3 days so I'm just wondering if this would work or not. I hope this makes sense haha 😅

I was worried this would make me bored. Till I noticed you'd need to afk for over 200 hours to max everything. Let alone I only shiny hunt and do Tera raids for herba mistica. Never put this much time into a Pokémon game... 195 hours is honestly to much
What are you trying to "max" that needs 200 hours?
Here is my opinion, honestly I have been using the fish since I saw the first afk money farm and I just put full ATK SPE and full HP I've never had any problems with any pokemon and I can take a crit from hariyama very well and kill him. there is nothing stopping me I been using the fish for around 10h and nothing went wrong.
I'd like to ask you to try it maybe with the full ATK SPE and HP will give you better results. Also the time for me to do one round is the same as shown in the video. I feel like using the fish is easier because there is less set up to do in the game no ability patch to get or anything just ev and iv get the amulet coin +lvls and you are good to go. I forgot to mention that at lvls 100 the fish outspeed everything no need any investment in the speed just make sure you have the nature modest (spe ATK up / ATK down) with this set up the only thing stopping you is the money limits or the lifespan of your switch and/or controller.
Hi just wandering what controller you using for auto farm my Terios controller disconnects/sleep after a few minutes
@@mantisonmoon983 I forgot to mention that the controller I'm talking about disconnect after it goes to sleep mode. It means you have to reconnect it every time you want to use it after your switch or controller goes sleeping.

I did try This build at first seemed good but if you go against scizor you have chance to get ko’d so still kinda have to watch it BUT will still work if you equip choice specs just less money, but good if you leaving for the night/day

I was having issues with Chi-Yu and I just started this Sylveon. For some reason I don’t get any increase in money afterwards. Giving this a shot just to cover my bases.

@@ConCon but I think this Sylveon seems to be invincible. Just need to be careful getting out of the loop.
@@ConCons yep. but the main thing is this Sylveon doesn't die at all. Chi-Yu would fall from the fighting girl getting a crit, or Goodra's Muddy Water RNG.

try fluttermane with HP Evs. Fluttermane outspeeds all even without speed EV
Thanks to this data Levin I don't have to wait for home compatibility for my perfect ditto. I got super lucky and got an adamant. This event gave me a modest and a neutral nature. All 6ivs perfect. I also have a no-good speed ditto. And long before I had all of these great things I had my Eevee project. If you are reading this within the next day or two startimes coming and get as many dittos as possible stay away from the internet once you get them it is quite literally the best set raid spawn ever. It has never been easier to get into breeding.

I think I got rather unlucky, but I followed this to the dot and lost on my first try. Penny's Flareon burned me, and then Sylveon critted me with Moonblast. If either of those two things didn't happen, I would have been fine. Just tried it again and bulldozed without issue. Thank you for the build.

Damn I've been getting some bad rng lately. The first three times I've tried this overnight went flawlessly, yet the past two nights and while I was playing other games had me back at the pokemon centre. still not sure what killed me but it does work like a charm if you don't have bad rng.

@@ConCon It was probably one of the trainers who has a fire type move that can burn. I caught a glimpse of my Sylveon almost dying to it against Penny when she brought out her own Sylveon.
It really was bad rng considering that all the fire type moves you'll face in the tournament have low chances of burning.

I did a bit of testing before seeing what will stop a 252 HP, 252 SP. Atk Sylveon. And for those curious, you will NOT consistently win against BP Scizor+Gengar. And also Nemona's team, particularly with Meowscarada.
I’d be interested in seeing the difference between specs and amulet coin where the former would likely win more consistently and quickly. Specs Glimmora power gem wins quickly and easily while being able to outspeed everything, and I’m wondering about the same tradeoff where less power might make it take more hits and lose more often

Hey ConCon, what kind of turbo controller do you use/recommend? I trained my Sylveon successfully but my controller disconnects after ~5 minutes. I'm using the NYXI Chaos. Can't seem to stop this from auto disconnecting and turning off...

Did the Build, but didn't have an Ability Patch, so I just let it run with Moonblast. For the 9 hours I let it run it worked fine.

This worked for me. I left it on overnight and I maxed to 9 999 999. So I gotta spend it on vitamins and go again. But yeah great ev spread. There is a scizor that bullet punches. If that thing lands back to back crits, I imagine it will ko sylveon. And I haven’t seen the orthworm yet. But prolly by the time those pokes show up, you’re at max cash anyways. Anyways thanks. First run after finishing build got koed by scizor.. lol zero cash gained
I used chi-yu for my grind. I had a 100% success rate. I burned all money to see how long it would take and it pretty much took around 16-18 hours to hit the max. Not sure at what point it stopped. so I’m happy with my choice

It’s so crazy how I find these videos so many months later lol. But it all still works. But surprisingly enough, i actually use calaryx and just have turbo button spam glacial lance and it’s made me over 10 mil. I’m gonna try it over night too

the speed is not neccesary. at lvl 100 you will outspeed everything without ev training it. I have 252 sp att, 252 def, then one hp up

Doesn’t work 100%. Let it run over night and I only had 2 million money and I was back at the PokeCenter. EV trained to the dot. Very sad to come back after sleeping and not see it still killing mons.
Please let me know what would be the rare case cause of this death. I let it run for 9 hours the other day while sleeping and it was still fighting them in the morning.
I think it's an unlucky case of getting burned by Flareon and then getting critically hit as well
almost died to burn damage from penny fight (35hp after last fight) and might had died if his sylveon crit me but other then that working great!

I had done this several times, and it only just now failed. I checked the recently battled in the pokedex, and it said the last one was Sylveon, so it lost to Penny.
Usually if you get burned by Flareon and crit by sylveon
This is a good method but I've been using chi yu for several days with the amulet coin and 252 evs in sp atk and defense because of the annoying hariyama that one of the npcs had and I haven't died once. This method is probably better but getting chi yu is easier and quicker since you don't have to get the ability patch.

If Penny's Flareon will give you the burn status effect & hit you with a crit you will actually lose.
Its not 100% sure to win every time with this Sylveon build.
Yeah if you're very unlucky you can lose once every 10-20 hours of grinding
So it may be better for sylveon to be choice specs. There is 1 possible opponent that may have a few tricky pokemon. This depends on ev spreads and natures of ai pokemon idk if they made them more competitive or more nuetral natured and even evs. If say the seviper and scizor on raiforts team are max hp and max attack then itd be tok risky to not be specs to guarantee ohkos. Especially when seviper can glare you. Gunk shot into bullet punch does ko 78 defense sylveon. If theyre not max evs then its barely an issue but i may just be afk more instead. Reson this matters is if you lose the ace tournament you go to the pokemon center
The main point is to have amulet coin if you want the double money. If you just want items then change the held item

It is preferred to be 100 because at low level it has a higher chance to die which breaks the afk farming. And yes you can level it anyway you want after raising it's EVs

I did this method, while fighting the Bio teacher it didn't 1 hit ko his swallot and i almost died and proceed to get frozen until i was down to 8 hp and finally thawed out

i am not too sure what i may be doing wrong but i have tried this method several times now and its odd sometimes it does great for hours on end, but other times i will come back and check on it and ill be at the pokecenter just healing my pokemon over and over lol. i checked my sylveon and its built exactly the same as yours to a T. i also tried the Chi Yu method as well and watched a video and built mine exactly to a T as well and same result with him also, sometimes it works like a charm for hours and then other times i come back and im healing over and over at the pokecenter. its very frustrating, makes me wonder if they have not updated or changed something that affected this method.
Yeah without a better held item most have a chance of losing if you get crit or other status effect on your pokemon

What matchups did you add the defense for? Curious since you gave no insight on what you needed to survive for that specific EV spread.

I believe the Japanese who made the build were trying to outspeed Jolteon and have enough defense for Hariyama

Generally, I can't complain with this, but it seems that sometimes when I battle Penny, it's a death sentence. The girl ruins any streak that was had! I think it might be her Flareon that beats this.

with Sylveon theres a 1% chance that you might fail. the only way to lose is if you face Jacq, since Sylveon cant 1 shot Swalot, if he uses ice punch and lands a frozen solid then you fail. that 1% luck yikes

I would’ve been mad if that was the only ability patch I had. Idk if any teams have differences between scarlet and violet but on violet I must have terrible luck because Sylveon gets slapped around. 😂

I got an ability patch from a 6 star sylveon, which had pixilate.
Edit: It also has attack as the only iv not being 31.

I will say I do not know what killed it but followed exactly for the farming the academy. It might be bad rng but it can kill sylvon with the amulet coin

Watching some of the fights play out I think It was Penny flareon when I got burn by flare blizts I was in red agasint her last pokemon so I think it would require Penny to burn and crit you in the same fight to knock out the pokemon
I shiny hunted one on my Birthday date and got a Shiny Silveon with the Chosen One Mark. I wanted to see if it was possible since I’ve used Sylveon so much to make all of the monies.
