Also, it didn't let me use any up the HP up, etc. After I used the adamant mint, it kept saying those vitamins won't have any effects on him. So I couldn't use any HP up, etc.
Annihilape is a monster. Everytime I have to fight one in a Tera Raid battle, it demolishes me. I don't think I've beaten one in a Tera Raid battle yet.
That'll be bad team mates not setting up first and bringing its shield up to quickly 😆 also don't bring anything with a duel ghost typing, it'll 1 shot you every time, you want something with high base defence, that can rase its attack stat with evs in hp and attack, team mates that use or something that'll keep healing up and reflect while you're boosting your attack with swords dance or belly drum and a move that can hit it super effectively for max damage, it'll go down in 1 hit without bringing its shield up :) sadly this is almost impossible with randoms ... people join raids they arent ready to take on yet in the hope to be carried and catch an insanely powerful mon for their teams
Annihilape is acknowledged as one of the more difficult raids out there. Fortunately there is a pokemon you can train up that absolutely annihilates Annihilape (save for Ghost tera type Annihilapes which are immune to the key attacking move). Torkoal, Shell Bell, Fighting Tera Type, Shell Armor ability (hidden ability, prevents crits) Moves: * Iron Defense * Body Press * Clear Smog * optional (Will-O-Wisp, Lava Plume, or Inferno to burn Annihilape) Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk) EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Sp.Atk You would only use the 4th move slot to help your allies. Lava Plume (30% chance to burn) and Inferno (50% chance to burn) have the advantage of being able to burn Annihilape while the shield is up. Clear Smog is used if it bulks up and you want to clear its Defense buffs. Also if you've got allies and the Attack buffs hurt them too much. Otherwise, you literally only need to Iron Defense (your ability prevents Annihilape from critical hitting you so your massive defenses completely stonewalls Annihilape) and then Body Press (which will use your Defense stat for calculating damage instead of your Attack stat). Shell Bell will allow you to heal once you start attacking. Incredibly reliable Annihilape strategy. (Except, again, for Ghost type Annihilapes who are immune to Body Press.)
Yeah... a 6* Corviknight Dragon Tera with Mirror Armor that spams Hone Claws on itself was probably not the best choice to test this 🤕 I still managed to solo him with Annihilape, but I had to switch Screech with Taunt, and I basically had to make every turn count. His Drill Peck is super effective, a lot of times it crits.... and if I ever risked not using Taunt every 3 turns, he would get a successful Hone Claws in and destroy me. What a pain!
This guy messed me up all day yesterday with my iron hands. Two hits down to 30% but then screen comes up and he one shots with drill peck. I finally gave up.

Thanks for sharing such helpful information. Still, I have to ask, can the rage fist power only be used once after building up? For an example, assuming after taking 3 hits instead of 6 by the 6 stars tera pokemon, and we use the rage fist, does that mean its power go down, and we need to be hit again to rebuild or recharge its power?
Rage fist power boost remains even after use and or pokemon faints. The boost is permanent till battle ends. It has been tested that even when revived from fainting the boost stays so fire at will.

Can anyone explain to me how Screech works? I've been trying to use it but can only use it once, after that it will fail. I've tried to find information regarding why the move fails after one use online but cannot find anything, any help would be appreciated.
Can you use this method against a six-star Annihilape tera raid, or will it not work, and it'll keep crit-hitting you and ko you until you're blown out the den?
I have a question: if I did hyper training twice, would that max out the stats and would it break the build, also, if the pokemon does the nullify stat changes, will the power in rage fist go down again?
Question... Why do you use 26 of the vitamins when the max EVs is 252?.. Wouldn't it be better to use 25 vitamins (25x10) making it 250 and then using 2 feathers (*1) to make it 252 .. ?
@@jordan8292 you can lower that .. Have a partner with umbreon or sylveon running screech , fake tears ? So 3 turns screech and bulk up at same time should do it

im useing this same build but just with the ability defiant. it will help with you with almost all 6 star raids but not all. that rage fist is a big help. even if its not super effective and its just effecttive it gets the job done. i was was stuck in a 6 star raid for a long time. then used annihilape. just had it use shell bell and used bulk up 2 to 3 times. then spam rage fist. even tho it was not super effective it still did lot of damage. then when i teraform to ghost it did big damage even tho the move was just effective,,
Higher level raids on the map usually have this weird aura looking effect that a normal Tera raid does not have, although 5 star Tera raids do not always have that effect. I think 6 star ones do though
does the raid pokemon's stat resetting ability not make this pretty risky? I'd be raging after fully setting up just to have my stats wiped 😂 great coverage regardless, I'll give it a go!
I think There is always a chance of this happening and something I do worry about, but I’m pretty sure the Pokemon will only negate status drops after taking a set amount of damage prior to the shield going up so I always think if they haven’t taken so much damage then it should be ok 😅 it’s not ideal but totally agree with what you are saying!! U only have to reduce iv on pokemon you use in battle. Fresh caught pokemon ivs are at 0. Each time you knockout a pokemon their respective Ev stat will be increased to your pokemon.
@@JacobHayes98 I believe we're referring to EVs here. IVs are determined when the pokemon is first spawned and can't be changed without bottle caps. EVs are the values you can either use feathers and items (protein etc) to train up. As for the berries comment, when you first catch the pokemon (as Jacob explained) your EVs will all be 0. It's only if you've accidentally fought with the pokemon before (regular battles, Let's Go battles don't grant EVs) then you want to clear your EVs with the berries so that you can avoid EVs in stats you don't want them in.
Bro i have a question please reply. Can i still iv and ev train the mons that i use in the play through? Or i need new one that not been use in battle so the EV didn't mess up ? Thank you and Godbless
you can reset EV's with specific berries. if its a pokemon from your play through you likely have a lot of EV's to undo, so it would take a lot of resources to get it to where it should be, assuming IV's and nature are also not ideal. but yes you can do that with the same one from your playthrough
If you've used it the entire playthrough, it's probably maxed its EVs in random stats. There's no siple way to grind the EV resetting berries, so it's easier to just start fresh. That's why it's dumb that this guy put evolving Annihilape before EV training. You should do them the other way around so your EVs don't get messed up.
This is an absolute great video. Only recommend I would make to save time and money is buy the brace that increases attack. Get your primape to level 35 and kill Pokémon that increase attack evs. This way you can buy less attack vitamins. And you have to use the move 20 times anyway. Might as well get evs for it. Save your money and time!! Annialape is one of my favourite Pokémon this gen. Will definitely make a shiny and use it for raids!! 🎉🎉🎉
In case your Pokémon starts fainting before gotten hit 6 times you can heal your self, although is not ideal since you may hit the other Pokémon to hard and trigger its shield. It’s like a last resort strategy
I have been struggling with a ghost Tera ceruledge 5 star raid. I just watched this video, gave it the ol 3 x bulk up, 1 x screech and rage fist OHKOed, 5 star definitely doesn’t need 3 screeches
You can use the raid one you got, however the tera type might let you down if you don't OHKO the raid pokemon and the shield goes up. In that case you'll want Fighting tera as a backup for increased STAB on drain punch (if your HP is looking bleak). Of course this isn't a necessity, it's just a general recommendation. If you've got one with Steel tera for instance, that might be fine anyway just due to how insane its defensive typing is!
so pretty much by one hit ko, u mean like.... "use about 6 to 12 moves depending on rather the npc is feeling assholish enough to actually reset buffs and debuffs and leave you back at square one with nothing but MAYBE low hp. this is the opposite of one hit ko. considering you have to build up to it, you can likely have attacked the entire damn time without buffs and have more damage dealt by the time this silly move is ready to hit. this build has cause me more pain than any other build.. just go with a fucking goldango....

he said pretty much what other 5-6 youtubers already made a video about 1-2 weeks ago
I followed your instructions step by step. But my stats look nothing like yours. Why?
My type is: fighting, ghost.
Tara type: grass
HP - 384
Attack - 328
Defense - 223
Speed - 226
Sp. Defense - 243
Sp. Attack - 127
Why are my stats so different? What am I missing?
Also, it didn't let me use any up the HP up, etc. After I used the adamant mint, it kept saying those vitamins won't have any effects on him. So I couldn't use any HP up, etc.
Are they max iv’d? A stat gains an extra 0-31 points based on their IV. Nature’s boost and impair one specific stat.
@@DarkEclipse23 not sure. That was a year ago. But I finally got mewtoo. Lol :)
Torkoal, Shell Bell, Fighting Tera Type, Shell Armor ability (hidden ability, prevents crits)
Moves:
* Iron Defense
* Body Press
* Clear Smog
* optional (Will-O-Wisp, Lava Plume, or Inferno to burn Annihilape)
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk)
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Sp.Atk
You would only use the 4th move slot to help your allies.
Yeah... a 6* Corviknight Dragon Tera with Mirror Armor that spams Hone Claws on itself was probably not the best choice to test this 🤕
I still managed to solo him with Annihilape, but I had to switch Screech with Taunt, and I basically had to make every turn count.
His Drill Peck is super effective, a lot of times it crits.... and if I ever risked not using Taunt every 3 turns, he would get a successful Hone Claws in and destroy me. What a pain!
that new electric bird isn't so hot to fight against either.
This guy messed me up all day yesterday with my iron hands. Two hits down to 30% but then screen comes up and he one shots with drill peck. I finally gave up.
what's the held item
So many people complain about not being able to do 3 screeches and whatever in time but that’s because yall aren’t pressing the buttons in time because it works for me all the time
Tried it 5 times and can't win the pokemon just removes all effects on turn 5
Best Build for Annihilape lvl 100
Tera Type: Ghost
Held Item: Shell Bell
-2 HP UP
-26 Protean
-26 Iron
Adamant Mint if you don't have an Adamant nature
Ability- Defiant
Moveset
-Rage Fist
-Screech
-Bulk Up
-Drain Punch
What Held Item are you useing???
Definitely using this for the cinderace raid
"With a blank slate on EVs" proceeds to continue on without explaining how to reset them.
Exactly
@@cosygoose1813 ugh. Don't remember how I did this or IF I did. Our graphs looked close enough in the end fwiw
@@TheCoderDakota Use berries. Turn it into friendship.
I have 2 more mons in mind which are not talked much about
Skeledgirge with unaware..especially for that gardevoir considering how quickly she can buff up her stats
And tera ground garchomp with choice item for electric tera raids..just spam earthquake lol
What do you think about it ?
i think it is depends on the terra pokemon, because they dont really use their terra type moves. electric terra type but if the pokemon specialize in ice then it be bad match for garchomp who is weak to ice either ground tera or dragon tera.
Yea I agree
Here are the Mons who actually work in practice ...
Iron Hands, Azumarill & Ceruledge.
LV 100, EV-trained with AV or Choice Band.
Still need a good Mon for FAIRY-Teras (Iron Treads is not bulky enough and it doesnt do enough damage).
@@adrenochromejoe7448 def not choice band as your locked in to whatever move you use first. And Gholdengo with recover, steel beam, and nasty plot. I one shot just about every fairy thats not especially specially defensive.

Amazing! Didn't lose any raid 6 since I use this build
Hoooow I still can't beat them. They either reset everything or I die. Or it's not a one hit and I can't break the shield...
@@MissTrevelyansame
I went for a punching glove and. Defiant on mine, for those battles where the team mates are doing to much damage and the shield goes up I can switch to draining punch and still get the stat boosts from defiant as well as health recovery from drain punch which gets boosted by the punching glove as well as not making contact with the raid pokemon incase it has any abilities that'll give me status conditions upon contact :) and tera fighting for the additional stab boost if the shield goes up, havent had Annihilape die in a single raid yet
Drain punch was on the second level of the tower for me, not the top, in case anyone else is having trouble locating theirs.
@@devintheone7534 I see, thanks
Does it need to be level 100 before I do any of these things?
I've had good success with Taunt over Screech. Even when solo, the raid pokes clear their drops way quicker than yours
Great video Lee
guys im kinda stupid but i used my bottle caps but when i tried to use my protein and other stuff it didnt let me use all of it. is it because annihalape isnt max lvl?
Can anyone explain to me how Screech works? I've been trying to use it but can only use it once, after that it will fail. I've tried to find information regarding why the move fails after one use online but cannot find anything, any help would be appreciated.
You can check during the raid battle the stats of the raid pokemon and your team, does it really only have -2 and it cannot have more than 2 red bars?
Thank you so much I had trouble finding six-star raids after watching this video I defeated so quickly thank you
um i made my primpape up to 100 lvl and then i did 20 rage fist
what do i do?
It won’t let me use the HP up and the protein on annihilape
Thanks for the video. Question. You said you got rid of your EVs. How did you re set them?
Ty for the video Definitely helped alot
worked nicely for me, cheers!
Can you use this method against a six-star Annihilape tera raid, or will it not work, and it'll keep crit-hitting you and ko you until you're blown out the den?
Thank you so much for the tips!
it wont let me use the hp ups and protein
"It nullified the stat changes and abilities of your pokemon"
.My nightmares be like
I have a question: if I did hyper training twice, would that max out the stats and would it break the build, also, if the pokemon does the nullify stat changes, will the power in rage fist go down again?
Question... Why do you use 26 of the vitamins when the max EVs is 252?.. Wouldn't it be better to use 25 vitamins (25x10) making it 250 and then using 2 feathers (*1) to make it 252 .. ?
since 252 is the max ev you can go up to, using 26 caps it off at 252 anyway, most poketubers just don't tend to use feathers tbh.
After the third turn does it nullifies your effect?
6 turns is a lot. High chance that the opposing pokemon will erase all buffs/debuffs before that.
Plus the chances of them even attacking you 6 times in a row is low
@@jordan8292 you can lower that ..
Have a partner with umbreon or sylveon running screech , fake tears ?
So 3 turns screech and bulk up at same time should do it
@@AkshayBarge1 That gives you even less turns to get hit, making Rage First weaker.
If your buffs get erased, just redo them. More turns is more chances to get hit, more power on Rage Fist.
Do you have to have a friend host to be able to get herba mysticas?
This is much better advice than the Belly Drum Iron Hands
what is the best pokemon for annihilape tera raid? I can't beat it solo
I tried it on Gyarados but it does not work as he kills me off using hurricane before I am able to use the rage fist. He is not one to use here.
Aren't there a few evs wasted when you use the move 20 times and ko pokemon? So you would have to reset the evs before using the vitamins. Or I guess you can just make sure the mons you ko give you attack or hp evs.
Didn't work against a Moxie Counter Krookodile. Stats kept getting reset around 70% HP and he kept spamming counter so no rage fist...
What raids is annihilape good for?
I’m new to this, does doing the hyper training from that npc automatically level it up to 100? Or do I need to use hella exp items?
Hyper Training just maxes out each specific IV stat. It does not affect the Pokemon's level.
Is it ok if I use leer becuase I could not get screech
Wouldn’t you have to remove EVs from the rage fists you did?
I can’t find a mankey with defiant nature. I guess I gotta hope for rng ability patch on 5 star Tera raids
How do you get screech for Mankey???
Took down a blissed with this strategy thanks!
So I am bit new but when it comes to building raid mons is their a website or something to get an idea on what works or not?
Hey, I’m not aware of any websites with builds but we have a bunch of guides here on the channel that will hopefully help, this one is a good place to start things off The ULTIMATE TERA RAID Guide for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

But just shoot me a question if you need help with anything :)
What held item is good for it
How did Daschbun get burned? Its ability makes it immune to fire attacks.
I did the bottle cap training and it did not affect the Pokémon stats at all
Yea we need to stop with these " OHKO " to beat all raids. This Mon in question is good depending on the Raid mon your fighting. For EX i had a water tera Esypeon yesterday that 1 or 2 shot me using the rage fist build. Instead of making end all be all videos , make videos on how to go about a tera raid
whats the tera type?
Who is the raid mon ?
what could i use to cover myself in a solo try?
Should this be a solo or is it better to Host and ask for 3 pokemon who can help?
Im also Not saying that rage fist is bad ( i 1 shot alot of raids that annihilape can actually do )
What did u end up using?
by doing the rage fist before vitamins you messed up its EV values.
Tried this against a defiant Kingambit (5 Star) he was a bloody nightmare
Does the bulk up and rage fist reset if you get KO’ed?
Yeah all boosts will be lost if ko’d
This strat wont work if youre 6 star boss has supereffectives moves against the ape?
Can anyone confirm if this still works in 2024??😊
im useing this same build but just with the ability defiant. it will help with you with almost all 6 star raids but not all. that rage fist is a big help. even if its not super effective and its just effecttive it gets the job done. i was was stuck in a 6 star raid for a long time. then used annihilape. just had it use shell bell and used bulk up 2 to 3 times. then spam rage fist. even tho it was not super effective it still did lot of damage. then when i teraform to ghost it did big damage even tho the move was just effective,,
What is drain punch for then
Nice! You should do more pokemon builds ..really . Thank you for this info
3 screeches is not necessary.. Just 1 will work SOMETIMES 2 is needed, after your own buffs .. its a -2 stat drop
One thing I can’t figure out, is how can you tell what level the raids are on the map? How can I find my higher level raids
Higher level raids on the map usually have this weird aura looking effect that a normal Tera raid does not have, although 5 star Tera raids do not always have that effect. I think 6 star ones do though
How do you get rid of EV's?
does the raid pokemon's stat resetting ability not make this pretty risky? I'd be raging after fully setting up just to have my stats wiped 😂 great coverage regardless, I'll give it a go!
I think There is always a chance of this happening and something I do worry about, but I’m pretty sure the Pokemon will only negate status drops after taking a set amount of damage prior to the shield going up so I always think if they haven’t taken so much damage then it should be ok 😅 it’s not ideal but totally agree with what you are saying!! Really appreciate the support
@@Osirus All gold raid mons have some sort of booting moves eg belly drum hands and azu , steely spirit perserrker , nasty plot gholdengo ..
In all of these cases, the buffs do get reset...nothing much we can do against that
This was my main concern too
Came across a pokemon in the raid that uses taunt it stops the bulk up and the screech process
Against Powder Puff Pokémon like Dachbun this is great, vs Pseudo Legends like Salamence…R.I.P. Anniliape.
Thank you so much! My anhiliape can't go up that much HP but I managed to destroy a teralized Glimmora by myself!
So do you not use berry’s to reduce ivs? Just level up to 100, hyper train and just vitamins and mints??? I’ve been using berrys and there kinda hard to come by your feed back would be much Appreciated thank you!!
why drain punch why not somthing like close combat?
In case your Pokémon starts fainting before gotten hit 6 times you can heal your self, although is not ideal since you may hit the other Pokémon to hard and trigger its shield. It’s like a last resort strategy
@@DaniCrack758 cool thanks
Use close combat and a just equip it with a shell bell, I think it’s better
I have been struggling with a ghost Tera ceruledge 5 star raid. I just watched this video, gave it the ol 3 x bulk up, 1 x screech and rage fist OHKOed, 5 star definitely doesn’t need 3 screeches
which item can i use for Annihilape in raids?
I use Metronome.
What do you mean a blank slat on the EVs
Can I use the level 75 I got from a raid or do I need to level one up myself
You can use the raid one you got, however the tera type might let you down if you don't OHKO the raid pokemon and the shield goes up. In that case you'll want Fighting tera as a backup for increased STAB on drain punch (if your HP is looking bleak). Of course this isn't a necessity, it's just a general recommendation. If you've got one with Steel tera for instance, that might be fine anyway just due to how insane its defensive typing is!
You mentioned you cleared it's EV's, how would I do this since I've used mine alot? Please and thank you.
You need to use the EV reducing berries, I made a video about how to get them easily. Let me know if it helps!
How do u get that hidden ability
That did the job for me! Thanks.
Would you please make a video on how to beat 6* annihilate raids. Nothing I can think of works.
Hey can u do a video on the move Stored Power, if set up right u can hit for over 800 power
so pretty much by one hit ko, u mean like....
How come the proteins have no effect?
You didn't really say what's the purpose of Drain Punch. Is it just an alternative to Rage Fist if the opponent is normal type?
It heals. Survival really
Me and my friend each had annihilape set up this way. Went into a 6 star raid against armarouge together and got slaughtered......it knew physic
What if you run into a fighting Tera type raid
