I think once we have the prologue, it will be good to have a video covering the best raid builds. Also may be something which seems niche, but it would be good to know some strategies vs commonly used raid pokemon stat moves like yawn and encore, really frustrating to deal with at times 😐

So for raid battles, if you wanna use STAB attacks, you're always better off using stellar tera type because it gives both of your typings the 1.5 STAB for the whole raid?
@@RandyX8 Yeah it gives the boost for the whole raid, but you do retain your original typing. Going as a solo type can benefit in better ways still. Stellar works with Pokemon with good resistances, and you can expand your move pool since every attack gets a boost from the stellar type
In regular battles it isn't just for 1 turn. It works for everytype of attack once. For example archaludon would get a boost for his electro shot, snarl, a steel attack and 1 of his dragon moves. If he uses dragon beam, Draco meteor won't be boosted and vice versa.
Others have mentioned this but it is important in case people don't scroll that far. The Stellar Tera boost works two different ways. In Non-Tera raids, basically everything else, it only STAB boosts the FIRST move used, and then doesn't boost anymore. In Tera raids, it STAB boosts every move you use indefinitely, until either you are KO'd or the raid ends.
@@toxtricitycore9998 There are reasons to go with a regular Tera Type, mostly having to do with positioning your pokemon defensively or utilizing a non-available move type via Tera Blast. But generally speaking, if you're going to have two or more offensive moves of differing types, Stellar is your best bet. Stellar Arceus is still my vote for the Pokemon that gets the MOST use out of it, though, because He can change His type as easily as changing what Plate He's holding. But changing plates on Arceus for every single Tera Den is annoying and time consuming. I'd rather have a variety of Pokemon prepared for a variety of types and have Arceus set up for whatever type I can't cover yet and just have everything ready to go for quicker clearing of the map.
Stellar Arceus was all I ever used for all the 6★ raids. It's a little tedious to change Plates every time but it's worth it for Judgment getting the Tera boost now.

Thanks Lee! Super helpful. I’ve been using Arceus with the steller Tera-type, and it’s awesome. I’m glad it’s not just gathering dust in my BDSP games.
Also a fun fact about the Sheer Force Feraligatr. Because Life Orb works two separate ways, it's actually insanely good on Sheer Force builds. The 'recoil' damage from Life Orb is treated as an additional effect of your offensive moves, meaning Sheer force negates the recoil damage. The 30% damage boost is treated as the Pokemon doing 30% more damage with all moves, which sort of pseudo-treats the damage buff as a second effect. Sheer Force + Life Orb gives attack boost without the drawback.
But this makes Feraligathr hit like a nuke with Liquidation since it's a move that has secondary effect and it's a 85 damage move , Meaning that combined with Swords dance , Life orb and Sheer force it Could nuke raids as long as it can Tank them.

There is in fact no reason at all. You still get the x2 boost to leaf storm even as stellar. Also, even if you can't get the stab from terablast, it still gets the 20% boost, having the same base power of leaf storm (when the opponent isn't weak to grass) but more pp.
