      It doesn’t have the bulk to do high tier raiding and shell bell is an very important item which it would need

      I would swap giga drain for recover on the stellar arceus plate build. Giga drain gives less than recover as far as sustain but it can build tera orb and once steller, will still get the slight tera boost efficiently turning the move into the special version of drain punch.

    For those that are using the Terapagos build, just be aware that some people have been disconnected at the end of the raids before you're able to finish it.

    I have a category of Body Press(ers) for easy/ safe solos. Basically, a Mon can learn Body Press with Def capabilities (Tera: Fighting) so as long as they don't resist it. Good Mons I built for this category:
    1- Zamazenta (Crowned Shield form): Very bulky, high Def + Iron Def
    2- Dachsbun: For enemies with Fire attacks or spam Will-O
    3- Kommo-o: High Def + Iron Def with Defensive abilities.
    4- Avalugg (any form): High Def + Iron Def + Ice Body for Snow recovery.

      @@PanFroHey there buddy what's up I just got through with testing out my new body presser build with Bastiodon don't sleep on this one it is pretty phenomenal the moves are Screech which is an egg move by the way, Iron Defense, Body Press, and Taunt although you could replace it with either Reflect or Light Screen if you want to then as for Nature goes for this one is Impish, EV's 252 in HP and 252 for Defense the rest I put into Special Defense and the item that I recommend is Shell Bell and the Tera is Fighting.

      With Tera stellar on iron hands your not running Tera blast so your not lowering your stats?

    • @cowsaymoomoo
      @cowsaymoomoo 9 месяцев назад +1

      My favorite body press + iron defense user is Torkoal. Shell Armor protects it from critical hits, so it’s a guaranteed win against physical attackers.
      It also learns moves like Clear Smog, Amnesia, and Will-O-Wisp, giving it a bit more flexibility.

  • @yourmomsoshi
    @yourmomsoshi 9 месяцев назад +11

    Tera Grass Big Root Victreebell is a good support. Being able to always stay alive while removing the bosses ability and stat changes is huge and reflect is icing on the cake.

    Great builds here!
    I'll throw Hisuian Goodra in here as one of my favorite Special Attackers.
    Goodra-Hisui
    252 HP
    252 SpA
    6 SpD
    Ability: Gooey
    Nature: Modest
    Item: Shell Bell
    Tera: Steel
    Moveset:
    Flash Cannon
    Acid Spray
    Steel Beam
    Shelter
    First three turns, spam Acid Spray, or use Shelter once if fighting a Physical Mon. Once Tera is charged, you can Terastalize and spam Steel Beam. Because the recoil damage is fixed at 50%, Goodra will always recover back the recoil it took from the Shell Bell. The only time I switch to Flash Cannon is when the enemy gets off a stat reset or if the shield comes up and I'm less than 75% health. It can shred through a lot of Pokemon and I've found it to be even more useful than Gholdengo.

    21:44 Alcremie :) (I'm saving this for later)

  • @deathblowringo4168
    @deathblowringo4168 2 месяца назад

    Alcremie has some syntegy with Malamar and Pokemon with Mold Breaker, for a Tera raid that has an stat move boosting in its moveset such as Corviknight, Dragonite or Gardevoir, Malamar uses Skill Swap to transfer its Contrary, due to how that ability works, it will cause Decorate to Lower its Attack and Special Attack by 2 stages. Mold Breaker (and its variations, Turboblaze or Teravolt) can ingore Contrary, causing it stat lowering moves to still lower the target with Contrary ability. Rampardos and Excadrill are good examples since they can learn Screech and Metal Sound respectively.

    Another fantastic supporter is actually Venonat.
    Ability: Compound eyes
    Item: Eviolite
    Moveset:
    -Screech
    -any
    -any
    -any
    252 HP, 252 Def, 6 SpDef
    Venonat will never miss a screech and it has higher accuracy on effect moves like stun spore, sleep powder, etc.

    tera stellar is pretty much strictly better on all raid mons (Unless you rely on coverage or need a defensive tera) because instead of giving an aditional stab (+50% boost) tera stellar gives you an aditional 100% boost on all stab moves, this goes away after first use outside of raids but it you do keep it permanently in tera raid dens, non stab moves only give you a 20% boost to their damage. You can find this information on serebi. Also a note that tera stellar tera blast is allways going to only recieve a 20% boost when tera, including Terapagos, so you lose your stab on tera starstorm after terastalizing.

    • @PanFro
      @PanFro  9 месяцев назад +4

      The stellar boost is the exact same boost as a stab tera boost, it’s not anymore lol. You misunderstood the mechanic. Also defensive tera boost is pretty massive especially against raid bosses that have coverage moves.

    • @justdominik9812
      @justdominik9812 9 месяцев назад

      @@PanFro did they like change it? Several sources are describing it the way i said. From both serebi, bulbapedia and competitive players.

    • @PanFro
      @PanFro  9 месяцев назад +2

      @justdominik9812 "If a move matches the Pokémon's base type, *then like standard Terastallization*, it will get a 100% boost bringing it to double, much like when you Terastallize into the type the Pokémon already is." - Serebii. It has always been like this lol.

      @justdominik9812 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@PanFroohh I see. Ty for explaining it.

    • @hasaki5247
      @hasaki5247 9 месяцев назад

      @@justdominik9812 Pretty sure your descriptions are mostly right from serebii, except that the stellar type damage boost is in addition to the STAB boosts, so Terapagos won't lose the STAB bonus after terastalizing. Also, Tera Blast and Tera Starstorm are the only two moves that receive different boosts, in which those will only receive 20% boost like non-STAB moves regardless of type matching.

    I've been enjoying Glowbro as a special attacker. Just Nasty Plot, Acid Spray and finish with a shell side arm.
