In the souls of men, a narrative unfolds, mirroring the fate of Davy Jones, scourged by love's deceit. Cast away by their paramours, they navigate the tumults of passion, only to be wrecked on duplicity's crags. Such tales recount not solely the torment of abandoned affections but the spirit's steadfastness. Deception remade Jones, a testament to love's bitter edge, transforming him into a specter of vengeance, a formidable executioner. Yet, in this transformation lies redemption; through tempests and turmoil, a beacon of hope guides their embattled hearts to harbors anew.
I just want a movie (or a trilogy) of Davy meeting Calypso and becoming cpn of the Flying Dutchman and at the end of some struggle and adventure reach his ten year mark to come ashore and be broken to see she didn't wait for him as he was coming for her. It'd honestly be such a tragic story and maybe before credits roll it pans to Davy’s and then flashes to his current form with the tentacles and a cold heart.
Thank you for being such a great editor. Davy Jones will always be one of the best villains! thank you for honoring Bill Nighy's well deserved performance!

He never wanted to become the strongest power of all seas, he wanted to be weak and loved , but being fooled into becoming of prisoner of Dutchman he had 2 options die or become immortal . I think he asks the same question he once answered for himself , he is afraid of death and thats why he chose power.
Mark my words at one point on your life you will completely understand Davy Jones, he is all the broken men, all the betrayed, he is the loyal dog that life transform into a monstrous wolf, and if you understand him you will refuse to categorise him as a villain

Once he made a deal with a pirate called Jack Sparrow, but when it was a time to pay, Jack found the chest and stabbed the heart of Davy Jones using a hand of another man. Ironic. This was an Incredible Masterpiece for My All Time Favorite Role For The Legendary Bill Nighy. Davy Jones is Also My All Time Favorite Antagonist’s in The Pirates Of The Caribbean Franchise and My All Time Favorite Disney Villain. Did you ever hear the tragedy of Davy Jones, the heartbroken ? I thought not. It’s not a story privateers and pirates alike often dare tell, and yet. Some claim it is naught but a sailing legend, a myth, a fear of death, personified by a sentiment of cruel hatred, guided by heartless revenge, powerless in front of divine will but resentful enough to bend their judgment to its core. Sailor, let no man fool you, the song can be heard on quiet nights, at the break of dusk, when the final light touches the horizon. A melody of agony laying beneath the waves, like a silent maelstrom of despair, carrying the passing to their final rest, the last flight of dying sparrows over the high seas. By Calypso I swear this to you, his heart beats still, although broken and torn, carved out of his flesh to rot beneath the ground. The Flying Dutchman must have a captain, and those who have faced his fury are now at our world’s end, locked away, like love in a dead man’s chest. If it’s the locker you are searching for, then I pray for your soul, for its curse will leave nothing but sorrow, eaten away by the leviathan that is Davy Jones, master of the seas, heartbroken and betrayed, feared gatekeeper of the dark abyss you call death. You have been warned old friend, fear the Kraken… more dangerous men of fortune have disappeared, never to be seen again, by the hand of a purposeless man, like black pearls, imprisoned in a never shell, doomed to forever be locked away in their shell, prisoners to the endeavour of a revenge that knows no mercy. I think we can all agree that the character of Davy Jones In these movies was one of the best performances ever.
Vader, Davy jones, Tai Lung, Dracular, snape, all characters who wanted to be loved but lost that hope. None of them were born villains
Exactly they were more of a tragic characters
"H-How do you know of the- key?" Emotion like that hasn't been portrayed in a disney film in a long time till then and since
Fear and pain in his heart in that moment

David Jones one of the best Villain in the Pirates of the Caribbean Never underestimate him
My favorite
Nah, he's one of the best villains overall. The acting, the CGI, the story, and the meaning behind him, flawless.
He was also the most misunderstood villain.
He never wanted to be evil.
He became evil because he was betrayed by his one love.
Turned his back on everything good after that.
Just to take his pain and anger out on the world.
And to mis-use his responsibility as ferryman to guide the dead.
Don't forget Hector
The best villain, almost immortal, control the kraken, afraid of nothing and have the fcking best ship of the entire ocean
