In the video, I explain how to create the Suzette Stitch. This stitch provides such a beautiful texture and can be used in a variety of home decor items, blankets, etc. I will walk you through the basics of the stitch so you can use it in any of your upcoming projects.
As an added BONUS 🤩, I have also included the instructions for the washcloth used as an example in this video tutorial.
    Small Washcloth Instructions:
    CH 21
    Row 1:
Starting in the 2nd chain from the hook, SC to end of row, CH 1, turn work.
    Row 2:
    HDC in 1st ST
SK ST, in next ST, SC,DC in same ST
Repeat * _ * until last ST in row
    HDC in last ST
    Rows 3-19:
    Repeat row 2
    Row 20:
    SC to end of row
    Tie off, weave in ends.
If you’d like to switch colors like I did in this example, change colors after every 6 rows. So, each color will have 6 total rows of the Suzette Stitch.

Hello Kelli! I'm working on my blanket. I changed 121, an odd number. So I have 120 in my rows. At the end of each row, do you skip a space before the last half double crochet?
I know You skip a space at the beginning, after the half double crochet.

Hi there! Yes, you skip a stitch after the first HDC at the beginning of the row, but not before that very HDC last stitch. You will always start and end with a HDC stitch. Hope that helps. 😊
