    The "I LOVE YOU" text is similar to text in Majora's Mask where the last page of the crash debugger says "All pages are displayed. Thank you! You are great debugger. [sic]". I always assumed this was a message aimed at testers during development, thanking them for scrolling through all the pages when a crash happened - maybe because they were taking down the data as notes? Or on a videotape?

    Here's the thing most people don't think about; yes, the PS1 sold like wildfire, but how many games are truly remembered and talked about regularly still to this day? Yes, there are a few titles that were hits and spawned franchises that still exist like Crash, Spyro, and Tomb Raider, but the N64 had so many more unbelievably great games. Plus with native 4 player support multiplayer games just tore the scene up better for N64 like with Goldeneye and Super Smash Bros.

    Sure, the N64 underperformed hugely compared to the Playstation, but sales are not the only measurement for the success of a console. The N64 was in fact quite innovative with its controller, expansian pack and rumble pack. The same applies to the Dreamcast. It's a financial bomb but no-one will deny that the Dreamcast is far more innovative than the PS2.

    5:46 I just discovered that Rockstar, like EA has a habit of buying up third party developers but unlike EA, they don't merge them and kill off and/or mutilate long-running beloved franchises (aside from DMA, most of them had a handful of random games,, including licensed games and Spidersoft, now Rockstar Lincoln mostly just did pinball video games), instead turning them into local branches of Rockstar and making them work on Rockstar's games. Funny to think the studio that made a pair of Barbie Horse Adventures games for Vivendi worked on GTA, Manhunt 2, RDR and RDR2 (Möbius Entertainment, now Rockstar Leeds, I am _not_ making this up)

      Rare's Humour is british humor, both the best, and worst kind of humor. Us brits say some dumbass shit yet we find it funny.

    Since when is the N64 called a failure by so many people? It was a damn amazing revolution and produced an insane amount of All Timers.

    • @BlazeHeartPanther
      @BlazeHeartPanther 2 года назад

      I think they mean by that it wasn't a huge seller like the PlayStation. Considering the N64 only sold 32.92 million units against PlayStations 102.5 Million, that is quite a 4 to 10 difference.
