    I would recommend turning around the button compass su you can see it through the plastic

    Very clever all that is missing is a microscope and tweezers. The can opener brought back some mems I had one as a kid.

      You bet! Its 50LB test, good for cutting restraints and as cordage. Would work for a garrote as well!👍🏼 Please subscribe and like if you enjoy our content as we are trying to grow our channel.

      Ya, I remember the term in the military other than just a P38. I think it was just a slang term saying it would open all can goods, which was a bid deal.

    Dude this is awesome. Only a few things I'd change. I'd ad cash, it is an E&E after all. Id replace that bulky pencil with a small pen filter and more tinder. A razor blade as extra cutting and a weapon. It might seem redundant but a fire ant. A few other things. That said I'd feel comfortable carrying the kit you made.

    • @LifeintheNorth40
      @LifeintheNorth40  Год назад +1

      Totally good ideas, definitely realized I had the room to drop in a steel razor blade, just added it. You can modify a few things for sure mission and environment dependent. Please subscribe and like if you enjoy our content as we are trying to grow our channel.

    In a hasty kidnapping, it may not be found, but could be found during a secondary search. So if the bad guys almost got you, best to put it down your pants in an area away from pockets incase they pat down the pocket area, If putting down the pants, under the balls or willy would be best so if that area is touched they will feel something more soft than a solid box shape. The escape tools should also be easier to get out than anything else.

    • @LifeintheNorth40
      @LifeintheNorth40  Год назад

      Well stated great technique. Many of these items can be removed and hidden or carried individually as needed. Obviously, the folding ceramic blade will not set off metal detectors. tried to incorporate things that are highly useful in a small package. Thanks for your comment and for watching.

      @LifeintheNorth40 yep a few things, even a swiss army knife. just rechecked to see if I saw it right. It's by a guy called meZillch and it's the micro edc wilderness survival kit. It has a altoids tin on the thumbnail but it is actually a tic tac box. I was amazed what he put in there.... that's what she said... 🤣

  • @roserocks1979
    @roserocks1979 10 месяцев назад +1

    I think a Altoids tin would work better.

    • @LifeintheNorth40
      @LifeintheNorth40  9 месяцев назад

      I do use Altoid tins or something very similar to make my elite ENE survival tin. You can check that video out. This is just another concept or idea using the TicTac container something a little smaller. Thanks for your comment and for watching our channel please like and subscribe if you enjoy our content.

    Wouldn't more people likely need water purification tablets over a handcuffs key?

    • @LifeintheNorth40
      @LifeintheNorth40  11 месяцев назад

      Good question. This kit has an escape and evasion focus. You can tailor your kit to whatever situation or environment you’re gonna be operating in. Purification tablets are a big deal. You can modify this kit to include whatever you want. I probably could’ve fit the tablets in there If I repacked it a little differently you can definitely put some in yours.
