  • Direct painting in Watercolours is so quick and easy. Here I’m also using Paper Dams to stop any of the colours from touching and bleeding into each other.
You’ve probably used Paper Dams before and not really thought about it. This technique is used for quick (direct) painting and is a really good technique to use for sketches.
For this project you will need:
    • Watercolour paints (colours as required)
    • Watercolour paper 300gsm+
    • Small brushes
You may like to use an image of some flowers or go and paint in your gardens/local park!
This project should take about 30 minutes.
