Thank you for taking the time to film this Charles. I love it when someone with your immense talent daubes at the paper and says "There, a really simple sky". I daub at the paper and get something that resembles a dirty palette! But I am inspired to continue so thanks again to you both. Keep safe.
You’re bad. Now I’ve ordered a Sta-Wet palette, and I’ve been a watercolour artist for several years. But I have lots of watercolour paper and a need for inspiration. Which you offer. Thank you.
Charles you are a star and I have ordered another book about acrylics , thank you for standing there all this time giving out tutorials you are deeply appreciated. Peter Sheffield
Thank you again for this beautiful painting....very well explained...same techniques...''and now''....( we love to call you like that...😀❤❤❤❤)....let's try do it...
Thank you for this video. I'm new to painting. I didn't realise I could use so much water with my acrylics. Very helpful. I will give it a go. Take care 🙂
I am very excited. With your lesson i have just finished my very first landscape! I know it is far from perfect but it has given me the confidence to try another one tomorrow. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your talent, experience and knowledge I really truly appreciated it! You have been an incredible inspiration I found your explanation easy to fallow and understand. Thank you !
Thanks Charles, you’ve made me want to give acrylics a go after ordering your book you mentioned. You make it look so easy but I’ll try and see what it turns out like!
Thank you for posting this. I am new to painting w/ anything and am really afraid of acrylics. Your style of doing it like watercolors may be what I need to get over this...not that I'm much better w/ watercolors! LOL- but I'm willing to try. Your paintings are beautiful. I especially love the ones w/ sky, sea and horses.
Hi I am puzzled, I have heard from a few artists that if you use a lot of water with acrylics, the painting will eventually crack! Is this nonsense then? Lovely painting, thank you.
Thank you for the tutorial.I just received my book Acrylics for the absolute beginner. Painting greens are no longer a daunting task for me ,as long as you have hookers green mixed with another colour.😁
Just starting getting into painting! Your videos really helped as I am looking to paint scenery and such like. Thanks, I’ll continue to watch and check other videos!
Hello! New beginner here! I can’t believe you can bash something so great out so quickly! Amazing. Please can I ask, what masking tape do you use because when I try, it damages the fibres when I take it off even gently. Thanks
Beautiful as usual. I have missed you lately. Kentucky has a lot of beautiful Landscape that this technique would work on may have to try this if our weather keeps improving. But I am still working on my watercolors I always know what I want to do but it doesn't always come out that way. Thanks for the wonderful lesson
I didn't know you could use acrylic like watercolor by adding so much water and thinning it out so much, guess that's why I'm having a hard time with it.😀
I didn't realize how much I missed doing acrylics until I watched this. This is a beautiful painting. Thanks for sharing!
You’re very welcome.
Thanks, Charles! Sat down with the family and watched this one today.
Now you have to paint it.

I wouldn’t use much water on canvas, but on paper put as much as you want on.

Hi Charles Great watching you paint what size is this painting? Thank you
It’s painted on half imperial.
Thank you Charles .
I am a beginner to painting what does the painting measure from top to bottom and across.
Many thanks. William.
Hi Charles can you please do a video for paint rocks in acrylic? Thanks

You can get stay wet pallets on my website.
@@charlesevans7706 thanks, I did look but they are not the same ones as you have in that video.
@@EKS49 no, but they do the same job.
@@charlesevans7706 looks small and I prefer the see through top, same as yours. Whose make is it?
@@EKS49 it’s Daler-Rowney.
Does the paper not crinkle Charles
No.
I'm using Watercolor don't like Acrylics that much.
