Cheers mate. Yes the animals at the camp site were nice. The lamb eating my tent gave me a freight though as I didn’t know they were about and all of a sudden I was aware of something rubbing against the tent.
Hello Ivor. That’s very kind of you to say. I found the walk very inspirational for myself and I had such a great adventure. I can’t wait to get back to do the next section.
I have heard so much about this stretch being very boring. So I am happily surprised that you made such an interesting and beautiful video with a lot of nice things along the way 👍😄 Makes me not dread this part of the path when I shall walk there myself some time. Thank you 😊
Hello Torunn. I can’t say this was my favourite section, the views were less dramatic, there were a lot more people and bikes, the walking on the tarmac was a little monotonous, but there was still lots to see and appreciate. It is worth doing and not something to dread. Thank you for continuing to watch.
@@pilgrimpaul7798 That is good to know :-) I will first finish the rest of Cornwall, and then start up in Minehead for the starting section, and then catch up the path in Plymouth and walk to Poole :-) Will take some years.
Just started to watch the series as i want to do the same, you almost passed my house in Barnstaple as i am just on the tarka trail after the Longbridge, you could have gone this way rather than via the underpass. Looking forward to the rest of the series
Hi Nigel. I would strongly encourage you to go for it. It is a fantastic experience no matter how you decide to walk it. I follow the cicerone guide book and I try to stick to the route as described in there.
GREAT series .... enjoyed every upload.
Thank you so much.
@@pilgrimpaul7798 true story Paul ..... cheers from Newquay.
Another great video. Love the music choices.
They take almost as long to pick and match to the videos as the walks themselves!
Another great and interesting vid mate. I liked the piano music, added a really classy touch. Nice to see all the animals too, but poor mole!

A great video! It's inspirational!

Great video again. Keep em coming. Looking forward to the next one. I know that stretch very well
Having lived there for a time.
Hi Kevin. I hope you enjoy the next video, I’ll try to show it off in its best light. Thanks for watching.
Recently found your videos. Great quality and very informative. Looks a fabulous walk. Would love to do it one day!
Thank you Ross. I would highly recommend anyone gives it a try.

Yes it sadly will take me several years also. Plymouth is where I grew up so I will enjoy the familiarity of that section.
All them miles to get nowhere 😉 all in a day's hiking i guess great going Paul 👌
Cheers Daz. It felt a bit like that but was still a good walk.
You’re having such a cool little adventure along the way mate. I would’ve been right up on the ship though 😆
That was what I wanted to do but after days of walking I had too many aches to attempt it.

Thanks Paul, coincidentally I saw you recommended that guide book on another video and it arrived today from Amazon!
Another great vid mate....can you tell me who the sang the song you used...its fantastic
Thank you daved. The song is by Cody Francis and is call Old Pen. I use quite a lot of his music.
@@pilgrimpaul7798 thank you...I love it...keep up the vids man ....love em.
Almost there! How did it feel to spend the night in the tent after the lat 2 nights in relative luxury?
It wasn’t too bad mate. The camp site was almost as expensive as the b&b though.
