"I love how you break down the gardening process step by step. It makes everything so much easier to follow. My garden is thriving thanks to you!"
Hi Catherine! I live in a flat in Barcelona and I don’t even have a balcony but I live my garden dreams vicariously through your gardening videos! ❤
Aww hopefully one day you might have your own little garden or spot to put your stamp on ❤️ thanks for watching!
You have accomplished wonders! I remember when your back garden was a patch of lawn, and have watched it evolve over the years into the beautiful space it is now. Remember to make a cup of tea and sit back and enjoy the result of all your labour!
Thank you dear lady. You are not lazy. You are making garden time simpler. Which we need to learn more so we don't get overwhelmed. 😊
Your garden looks soooooo pretty Catherine!!!
your garden is so peaceful 🥰
Garden lovers are always busy but as you said, in the evening or early morning it can be relaxing to do, a sort of garden yoga 🥰
Hi Catherine thank you for such an informative and lovely video your garden is well taken care of have a great week give the pretty cats a hug for me ❤❤❤
Thanks for stopping by Rita ❤️ lots of hugs for the cats too!
One day at a time. A pinch here, a trim there. You are doing a great job of maintaining your gardens. Pretty as ever.
Catherine we remember when you didn't have a garden and look at it now. Girl you've done well 👍👍❤❤
Aww thanks so much! You’re so right we all need to take a step back sometimes and look at how far we’ve come ❤️
Love seeing the poppies in the front yard.😊
Thank you for a great garden tour
I always learn from you.
You are certainly not lazy.
I look so forward to all your videos.
You are so sweet.
Seeing all that lovely sunshine makes me envious. I can't wait for spring here in Melbourne and some warmer weather❤️
Hi Catherine love watching your garden vlogs . 🐝💖🙋🏻♀️Patricia x
Deadheading is my favorite, I find it very relaxing. Thank you for sharing your video.❤
A delight as ever ❤
You’re such an inspiration to young and old ( like me) x
I always love a stroll through your garden! I live in Atlantic Canada and have enjoyed gardening through most of my adult life. We have a major deer population where we live and they enjoy the garden as much as we do, so we do need to have some type of fencing so that we can see the blooms before they have them for their meal. lol. I enjoy the peacefulness of your garden. I am in the process of building a new garden space with less maintence. Thank you for sharing!!
Aww it sounds like the deer are admiring your hard work in the garden!!😂 good luck with the new garden space!!
You are definitely not lazy! I rely on a few perennials and flowering bushes to give me flowers now. I have 2 kinds buttercup, violets, rubeckia, pink & purple & white rose of Sharon bushes (planted by my visiting birds) and many walnut trees planted by the squirrels and their babies. Those I have to remove before they are a foot tall. There is as much below ground as above. I am not strong enough to get bigger ones out. It is nowhere as large a garden as our hobby farm, but I still have birds and critters. I don't feed them but they come every year. My grandchildren enjoy them as do I.
Very satisfying vlog, we’ve recently had our paths etc power washed and it’s so satisfying how bright it makes it and mulched beds too, Thankyou for the vlog.
Your gardens are lovely Catherine. I always love watching you in your greenhouse and flower beds. Have a great brand new week. HUGS 🙏🌼🌸🌷🌹
Hello lovely Catherine! Are earwigs a problem in Ireland? Here in Canada, certain flowers are difficult to grow without the flowers completely nibbled, or using disgusting pesticides. I finally found a safe home remedy...get a small plastic reusable container, and poke a lot of earwig sized holes in the lid. Put 50% olive oil, 50% soya sauce in the container, and place it on the ground at the base of plants you want to protect. The soya sauce attracts them, the olive oil suffocated them. Astonishing how well it works! Works equally well on American earwigs as well! Hugs and kisses to your mom, and you too!
Thanks! I have a lot of earwigs, I’ve given up on lobelia a long time ago.
Everything looks so lovely. I love a little potter around my gardens and deadheading. Thank you for another wonderful video, Catherine. ❤
A potter around the garden so good for the soul ❤️ thanks for stopping by xx
Catherine your garden is beautiful-I can’t believe how well that new front border has come along so quickly! Stunning 🤩
Toffee is SO CUTE! Great video. I am learning about seeds!
Another lovely video Catherine..❤
Thank you! 😊
Gorgeous 😍 everything is lush and beautiful!
I find deadheading to be very calming, relaxing. Now weeding is not one of my favorite garden chores. Your garden looks so lovely. Dahlias are a favorite of mine too!! 🌸💛 - Julie
Everyone has the chores they like and don’t like that’s so true 😂
Hi Catherine, Everything looks beautiful! The front of your house has turned out lovely. Thank you for the tip about the fertilizer. ❤ Have a great week.
Always so happy to see a new video posted! Hello from the State of Michigan in the USA.
A lovely easy watch video. I have dead heading to do. After watching you it has pushed me on. I need it. Ha ha. Thank you Catherine. Your garden is gorgeous, dead heading or not.
Hello Ms. Catherine... You have a beautiful garden so much different from your first garden video I love all the flowers ❤️ and thanks for tip ☺️
I am from Canada I envy how early you can start growing and how long your flowers will last for you ❤️
Nice to see you. Garden is looking wonderful as always. Iv gone to battery garden tools and I must say wish I hadn't. I miss your garden chats with Karen. Take care and I will catch you next time xxx

❤
Lovely as always!
I dead head a bit at a time. Rather than a big chore I do at bit walking back from putting out the washing. Your garden looks beautiful.
Great way to do it!! Very smart, doesn’t feel as daunting all at once I’m sure 😍👏
Loved this video,I've picked up so many tips! Thank you my lovely ❤
Good tip food pellets i must get them on my shopping list x
great video, thanks Catherine
Catherine you did an excellent job! Once you decide on the tile and the price you want to pay put it out to the universe and let it come to you. Maybe you will get a deal from someone who has extra or enough to do your floor that they just want to get rid of.
Hi Catherine thanks for another great video, my garden is much the same as you have, I have lots of pots they are in fool bloom.. Love to see your garden videos and you and Joanne going to garden centres it just brightens my day😅 you and joeann need to go out shopping together. Luv k xx 12:50
I went to the library to get the container book you recommended. I found a book on cottage gardening by the same author which I'm sure you'd love. I thought of you the entire time I read it.
Aww amazing! Glad you found a good book ❤️
At first I thought oh she’s making a bouquet of her garden flowers 💐 but yes dead heading and cutting back make a garden continue to grow. May I make a suggestion? Lol well you can’t answer No so here goes. Why don’t you make a bouquet once a week then ask Father in Heaven who needs a bit of cheering? Someone in the hospital, someone who can’t get out, a neighbor child who might have had a bad day at school, a Mom who may feel unappreciated. Once I felt a prompting to give my flowers to a girl in the drive through giving me my order. She burst into tears. Everyone is fighting something. Your cheerful loving personality can spread Joy & magic happens to your own heart ❤
Lovely video 🌹🌺🌷🌸
Where I live, we had a major heatwave for nearly a month. I lost half of my plants; even though I watered them daily. Everything is in containers (including my watermelon). I've done this for years and never had any real problems before.
Wonderfull garden❤❤❤
I love deadheading!
Your garden is looking so good, I can't even get into mine it has been so hot. And the Tiger mozzies are in full swing. Hope all is well with you and your family ? Hope your mum is doing ok. Xx
Catherine Got Loads Of Seeds From My Aguilera last Year. They are Coming up all Over. Lots Of Foxgloves This Year Too. Have a lovely Week. Xx 🌷🌻🌸

My potted Gerber Daisy's lasted all the way up to December. It was so warm where I lived.
Omg your garden is beautiful 😊thanks for sharing 😊
You have inspired me much. I'm getting pots for my front garden soon and can't wait to have a beautiful entrance to my home xx
Ooh exciting! Your pots will turn out fab❤️
Lovely
Hi Catherine, I sheared and deadheaded my flowering plants…thanks to you. Marcia from Minnesota. Also, I am sad to say my poppies all disappeared. 😩
Lol look at you wearing gloves! So proud of you!
I might be weird, but I really like dead heading 😁 it always looks so much better afterwards. You’ve got a best friend in Toffee! Lovely colouring, always a pleasure to see you Catherine, Suze. ☺️
Love your little cottage garden, and your greenhouse!
Summer is really hot in south Louisiana,USA . I am feeding and watering but doesn’t look the best now, always next spring! Lol
Well, I literally stopped this video, feeling guilty about not deadheading my flowers. So, 91 degrees F 33.333 C I went outside and did just that.😂 Thank you for the inspiration to do that task. Thankfully, I do not have a massive garden area. Take care, God bless you and your family. As always, your mom remains in my prayers.
Your flowers will thank you for it!
Great video thanx
Just getting past a stretch of hot, wet weather, and my garden beds are looking more like a jungle. Tomorrow's the day to weed, deadhead, cut back and fertilize. Thanks for giving me the nudge I needed ;)
Brilliant advice Catherine just what I needed to hear,I've been deadheading my wildflowers and they keep coming back. I'm carefully looking after my dahlias after successfully growing some this year, wasn't sure where to deadhead them so thankyou 😊 my mom's roses too. I also have fushias my first bloom was good but it's looking a bit poorly now, will give them a good feed see if that helps😊.
Your garden is looking beautiful, much love to you and the family 😘😘😘
Wow your garden sounds beautiful 😍😍 good job!!
Lovely video❤. I check my gloves too😀!
I throw frost cloth over my dahlias at night in October to keep them going a few more weeks (my first frost can be mid to late October). Thanks for the tips!
That’s a good idea to keep them protected! Hopefully they get through the frost this autumn and winter!
Garden is looking gorgeous as usual! 😍
Sadly The heat has not let the normal flowers show their face maybe when it’s cooler so far it mostly Sunflowers for me at this point We have had severe heat warnings and we have no rain. Thanks for Sharing 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Thank you, especially for the thoughts about the lawnmower. I always strim the edges before cutting the grass. That might help regarding clogging up the funnel …..
Thanks for sharing the tip!!
Love watching
I have to stop my neighbour from deadheading my flowers along the property line! She wants to cut them before they are finished, and I want to leave them as long as they have some colour.
We have the same mower. My husband, who is older, likes it because it is lightweight, but he also finds that he has to stop frequently to scrape out the wet grass from the underside. I like that it is quiet.
I haven't had much luck with the granular feed. It seems to sit on top of the soil without breaking down.
Love to your mom.
Hopefully things go smoothly with your neighbour!! Thanks for stopping by ❤️
@@DaintyDiaries I tell myself that she means well :)
Need a little border around your mini meadow, it would be tidy and sweet.
Pleas share any ideas you have, what kind of border and plants would you do?
My garden is my second job, it pays me with endless beauty, could use some cash though so I can buy more flowers 😊
More flowers are always needed 😍💐
Thanks ❤
Do you do edging it gives a nice finish The wild flower patch is lovely
You might want to upgrade your electric lawn mower one day. I have the same brand but the higher volt (?) one works great. ❤
Catherine, do you still have your little pond? Would love to hear an update. 🐸 And any hedgehog 🦔 friends this year?
My dear mum used to say “you should let your worst enemy prune your roses, they will try to kill them” 🫢🤣It’s hard to kill a rose, I like to keep them deadheaded also, and the two standard roses we have are beautiful, and a good few years old now
That’s a great saying!!
Beautiful as always!! At the 9:45 point in the video, what’s the name of the cute little pink flowers? 💖
Hi Catherine, your garden looks lovely. I love the dahlias. Do you not have mosquitoes in Ireland? I have never heard you mention them. Here on U.S. East Coast they are horrible. You can only be outside for a few minutes before they start swarming around you.
We do have some mosquitoes in Ireland though they’re not too big and there isn’t too many of them luckily ❤️
💕
Aww....you're a cup of hot chocolate on a blustery day......I've bought myself white vinegar _ ì know it's mixed with water but can't remember what video you explained the ratio.
One of my clients has the same lawn mower. It's not the greatest is it x
Oh my gosh, I thought that I was the only one checking my gloves for 🕷
💚
you prune roses back to the first 5 leaves
❤ 🙏🏻🌺🌻🌹x
❤x
FIRST! 😻
Woooo thanks for stopping by ❤️
You need a heavier version of the electric landmower. There are beast out there having no problem with 60cm high grass. They use two rechargable batteries instead of one. You? Lazy? Girl! You are a little busy bee! Give yourself some grace.
Lovely video as usual. Bit unfair to call it a secret tip though 🥀
Hi Catherine, thanks for the great tips! You are anything but lazy. I'm just thinking, if you are so disappointed with the electric lawn mower, perhaps it's better if you tried to resell it and buy a petrol one. You wouldn't have to struggle anymore :)
