I has a similar one where it had been stolen/recovered/wrecked and the thieves had run it too hard with no 2T oil and it had totally scored up the piston and cylinder. Replaced both of them, but the air compressor is leaking somewhere (referred you your video on testing this and will hopefully give that a try when I have a rainy day and no car projects), it did run when I used the workshop air compressor so the engine is good so far. Looking forward to messing with the fuel maps just for fun! :) Thanks for all your useful videos about these SR50s!

Hey Pete im from Spain and I have the next generation of sr ditech, of 2006 and with piaggio engine. I just converted it to carb because its easier and more economical to fix the problems of it now than with injector and oem fuel pump. Maybe in yours could be more difficoult because of the morini engine but I think is better convert it than put a new engine. Think about it! Regards
Hello my friend. I’ve heard about the conversion sets for morini engines but I simply lile to work on the injection systems. I have a second ditech and it will even start at -1 degrees celcius. That is a big advantage to carb engines. Of course as for the economical reasons carb engines are far easier to fix and maintain. Regards

Stars without any problem and reaches a speed of 60 klmhr which is not to much but the detail is that it turns off after 10 minutes of driving and then it has a hard tie starting again but is stars turns off ,-start- turns off -start again , I don't know what's is ? hi there this could be a hairline crack in the cylinder. Very rare but sometimes it happens. As soon as the cylinder gets warm the crack expands and you loose compression what causes the engine to turn off. it could also be the head gasket. Check your coolant fluid. If it looks dirty this might be it.
the coolant came out dirty and has signs of having a little oil.( just any drops) what steps do you recommend I follow ? which everything that is exposed , it can said the the CDI is good, right?. Thanks @@petesgarage4670

pure jet engines are very complicated. It could be quite everything.it could be the green injector or the blue injector or the compressor…. if you have an idea how to test them you have to try and test one after another and maybe you will find what the problem is.
I tryed one thing, checking air compressor pressure, hooked up compression tester - nothing, so just tryed to measure pressure with my finger and there is very little, but I don’t understand, i took it apart and it looks very clean and not damaged.
Is part 2 coming? I bought one today that haven’t run for awhile, fuel pump made a nasty sound. I put some fresh fuel in, and now it sounds normal like yours. I got it started, but it’s hard to start. It idles, but it’s like there isn’t enough fuel. It can’t have full gas in much time or else it stalls

When I try to start it and give it a little accelerator it turns on but as soon as I let go of the electric starter it immediately switches off again. The scooter has compression and the scooter has spark. Even when I try to start the scooter every time, the spark plug is completely black every time. What should I do? Can you please help me?

Wenn Du den reinigst also sauber machst so das die Kolbenringe wieder frei sind hast Du vielleicht Glück das Du mehr wie 5 bar Druck hast.Ich habe auch einige Ditech und Factory. Die Zylinderwand ist an einer Stelle komplett ausgewaschen deshalb baut sich der Druck nicht auf. Ich habe den Zylinder bereits ausgebaut und werde das beim nächsten Video auch mal zeigen so dass man das eindeutig sehen kann. Ich habe einen Ersatzzylinder und versuche jetzt Grad mit einem Zubehörkolben und Zubehörkolbenringen den Druck bei dem Ersatzzylinder auf 6-7 bar zu bringen. Sobald ich das gemacht habe werde ich das Video hochladen. Ja das stimmt die Fehler suche an den ditechs und das rum spielen an der Einspritzanlage und an der Pumpe macht auf jeden Fall Spaß. Das ist nicht das gleiche wie ein Vergaser Roller 👍🏻👍🏻

@@everythingbro4786 the air compressor has to have a pressure of minimum 4 BAR. you need to properly check it
Well then mine has 0 I guess, new oem compressor is 300 eur, thats way to much, so I’m just gonna convert it to carb sadly.

hi there, have you already changed the spark plug? You have to also measure the pressure of the fuel pump and the pressure of the compressor.
