I’ve actually never seen their painter pant, I’ll definitely have to check that out 👀🔥 Thank you so much for the rec! Its funny because traditional I find Orlows to be much more slim, no?
Thanks for another great video. Very informative even for someone that already has a pair of the kiraku 202 oni denim. If you like this pair of denim I would urge you to try out the Bare Knuckles Javier Wide leg jean. It has a very similar fit to the oni 222 but slightly wider.
Ayyy thank you so much for the love my friend! I appreciate it more than you know 😁💪🏽 I would definitely say they’re VERY similar. I find the Onis have just a bit more room in the thigh and rise area 😇
ONI are making it difficult for me to buy from anyone else at the moment! Did you miss them at Denimio? Because they are the best retailer imo; price, stellar customer service, super-fast shipping, no customs fees. I doubled-up on the Crushed Concrete, they're too good. These do look cool, just not something I could pull off!
Thanks so much for the comment! 😁 Honestly, I have never shopped with Denimio. Never out of malice or anything, I just never made my way on the site yet to be honest with you 🥹 I definitely should check them out more to be honest, so thank you for the nudge 😁 But no wayyyyy! You got the Crushed Concretes and you don’t wear them? I’m sure you could pull em off man!
@@AlejandroJomar Oh, my bad! I meant your 222's! I like them but couldn't see myself being able to pull them off. The CC have been a daily wear of mine. Hence needing 2 pairs 😅 Denimio are the truth.
One of the rumors is that Tanuki is made by Oni, but for the western market. There is also a potential that it's owned by Denimio but nobody really knows. There's a whole reddit thread on it haha. Also Oni has been releasing their 200 fit which isn't as wide as the 222's but still wide enough.
That’s so interesting I never heard that but would love to read up on that thread if you got the link 👀🙏🏽 I’m making my way out to Japan next year and am actively learning Japanese and am gonna try my best to get Oishi-San on a video even though I doubt that will happen, but I’m gonna try regardless! 🫡
Thanks brother, you’re a hero! 3x the price of everywhere else though, at least here in NZ. Need to give that one some thought lol. It’s those or try out some strong guys
@@Gruffalo-w8i fyi, im in australia and i bought mine off of deminio. definitely alot cheaper than son of a stag for us and it should be free international shipping & quick as well.
I have the crushed concrete 288, the 14oz one with black and one natural weft, both 246, 20oz secret kakishibu weft 288, jet black 13oz is 286,the same as 246 just sanforized, and ivory pique pants in 216. I love them. 216 is like a slim straight fit, the 246 is called "neat straight" but has a small taper, 288 is the regular straight. But I'm a guy who's biggest concern in a fit is the rise. All the jeans I have, besides a few, need at least an 11.5 rise to be comfortable. And all my ONI have that. But I love N&F cause I have 3 fits in men's to choose from with a higher rise. I have bought the arrow fit and I like it. I'd like to try classic too. But I have way way too many jeans right now. It's hard to control, but I'm getting better, especially if Bahzad tells me I should hold off then I gotta listen to him. But I'm making 1 exception for Michael's Iron Snail jeans, coming within a few weeks! 16oz hemp pockets, but that's all I know so far. Knowing him he'd make a 501 type fit. Could use a midweight jacket too, since I only have a Levi's type one and a 22oz big slub UB denim jacket😅
I do also have these jeans in my wardrobe. And I’ve been loving it besides one thing which is the fly where the stitching looks kinda unclean and I’ve seen it also on your jeans. What do you think about that?
Hey man! Thanks so much for showing love and commenting! 😁🙏🏽🔥 to be honest when it comes to the fly, I’ve seen a lot worse than these, but the way that the fly is constructed is reminiscent of the old world jeans from what I understand. It also at the end of the day is a handmade garment, so there are bound to be things such as that. I genuinely find that the inside of these jeans are definitely much cleaner than others that I have experienced. Is yours worse than mine? 👀
A little bit worse, but it is still the best jeans I have ever owned in my entire life. One final question on the inside seam only denim choose to overlook one side and overlap. The other side, and here comes my question because you can’t really make out any exes on the back of the jeans although you can see the stitching. Do you know how this is done? cause I can’t really cross my mind how this is done And thank you for your answer
Oh no I’m stupid they just overlooked both the front and the back side. Is there a technical term when you revert The outside edge into the inside of the jeans in order to hide the raw edges
Love your videos and shorts! Keep up the hard work!
Thank you so much my friend, you’re the best, I appreciate that more than you know 😁🔥🫡
Oni’s 242 cut is also super wide and now available in a black colorway if you’re interested !
Interesting! Thanks so much for the rec, I have actually never heard of the 242! Is it wider than these? 👀😈
@@AlejandroJomar I don’t own the 242 but just looking at the size chart on red cast heritage, the 2 cuts seem comparable
The orslow painter pant has a beautiful baggy fit too ! Great review 💆♂️

I love The Strike Gold for a lot of the reasons you mentioned for Oni. Have a look at their stuff
I just got my first pair from Hinoya....loving the greenish tinge

Denimio are the truth.
What size did you get?
Does that mean it’s gonna shrink more as a one wash by skipping the sanforization after washing it again?.
Cool jeans . Thanks for the review . I am more a « relax tapered fit » myself . Any thoughts about their secret denim at 20oz?

Hello Bro, this Jean Is a High rise?
I have this in the 266 cut. It’s nice and hairy and I’m really enjoying them
