Absolutely love Oni, easily my favourite denim producer. With that said I’ll never buy from son of a stag, their price gouging is beyond ridiculous. They literally near double the price of jeans in many cases, Oni is one of the brands they do this with. I actually spoke to another prominent retailer about son of stags pricing and they had absolutely no idea why they charge so much more than everyone else. Huge bummer considering they have a pretty great selection of Japanese denim.
@@AlejandroJomar I’m definitely thinking of the 222 bc of how wide they are, ive been looking for a jean that’s like the carhartt double knees that I’ve worn for years but im trying to steer away from em bc everybody wears them now hahaha but I think the 222 will be the closest
I’ve actually never tried those out, but I’m so excited for you! 🥹🙌 Let me know how that goes for you my dude, much love! 🔥 Those are the black ones right?
I have a 15oz greencast cinchback, amazing texture, colour, and craftsmanship. Copped from denimio, they helped me with sizing with the stretch of the loose weave, denimio is great for customer service, and oni makes some awesome jeans 👍
Another wonderful video, Alejandro. Oni - possibly my favourite denim brand. Thanks for bring light to this denim brand. I own a few pairs and my favourite three are the Secret denim Kabukimimi, Asphalt and the Crushed concrete. Soooooooo good.
Just a question but I feel like son of a stag is kinda overpriced. For example Redcast Heritage sells the same jacket for 160 € less than son of a stag. I don’t really understand that significant price difference. Is their explanation for that. Regardless of that still love your content
This is a great question! Funny enough, I feel like Redcast has more of a “fluid” pricing structure, as I have seen their garments go up and down. In my experience with Son Of A Stag, they’ve mostly been consistent. And they also have a very large catalogue of Oni garments in specific that you can’t really get anywhere else. Otherwise though, I’m not entirely sure the specifics on that, I’m sorry 🥺 I appreciate the comment and the love though my friend, thank you as always!
Thank you so much my friend! I appreciate the support! Also, you know whats funny? I don't know why, but I'm really not a black denim guy, like at all really. I have one pair of 3Sixteen black jeans but, I don't know.. I love them truly, I just don't love them on me for whatever reason 🤣
I think you should take a look at NBDN they are from Indonesia using Japanese denim with all the bells and whistles for a fantastic price, even for their leviathan line of 23oz denim, currently my favorite along Momotaro and Naked & Famous.
This is highly appreciated my friend thank you so much for real! I have been meaning to get around to making a video dedicated to the Indonesian raw selvedge denim, and this definitely helps a lot! If you have any others i should take a look at, please let me know! 😁
Whoa. I love your videos. Awesome enthusiasm and great info. Buuut I definitely have some skepticism pushing Son of a Stag. The reason why they seem to have rare jeans that are usually sold out is because their prices are absolutely ludicrous. Like. Beyond anything I could even imagine. I guess it’s catering to the DR / Lawyer denim heads / Paul McCartney cause ain’t no regular shmuck be buying those at their prices. DENIMIO FOREVER! ✊
This actually makes a lot of sense, I definitely have to check this out! Believe it or not, you’re not the only one who has said this to me before actually 👀 I will definitely check this out on my end! Thank you again for watching, and thank you for your kind words 😁🔥🙏
Man oni sells fast! Love their jeans
They really do don’t they? They’re just so loved by the community 🙌 Thank you so much for the love and the comment, my friend! 🔥😁

Where can a buy Japan Denim for a good price ?
I should also say, great video as always brother! Haha. Keep it up man, I love that you’re making the selvedge learning curve easier for others!
Came across these the other day - love chambray, love the lightweight fabric. And I can't think of a better youtuber to be showcasing these!
Thank you so much my friend! I appreciate you so much 😇🔥🙌 I’m glad you liked the video, and thank you always for you continued support!
Been waiting so long for you to make a full video dedicated to oni
Ayyyy lets gooo! Much love! Thank you so much for watching and supporting 😁🙌
Love the vids man you definitely deserve this hook up man! Definitely getting a pair of Oni’s because of you!

Thank you so much my friend! I appreciate that for real! 🥹🔥
I’ve just ordered a pair of oni 242 extra wide leg and I’m so excited to get them had my eye on them for a while.
I’ve actually never tried those out, but I’m so excited for you! 🥹🙌 Let me know how that goes for you my dude, much love! 🔥 Those are the black ones right?
@@AlejandroJomar yeah they are the black ones, so excited to see how they will fade over time. It’s actually my first ever pair of Selvedge denim.
Keep dropping these jewels!
Ayyy thank you so much! I appreciate that 😁 Lmk if you have any other ideas of what you would like to see!
those all are so beautiful! defiantly looking into a pair of oni for my next project jean.
I love to hear that my friend! Which ones were you thinking of getting? Also, thank you so much for the compliments! 🔥🙌
@@AlejandroJomar the hardest part so far for me but i think the wider cutt will fit my taller boots very nicely. what would you recommend?
Love these! Really curious to see how they'll go with time as they soften further and lose their crisp.
Awesome. Don’t have a pair of Onis but the asphalt looked so good
I loveeeeee Oni....imo the best money spent on denim. I have their Kiraku 2 jeans and jacket, it's crazy how soft yet durable it feels simultaneously.

The secret denim cinchback is the same one I got actually 🥹🙌🔥 video on that coming soon 👀 Much love my friend!
@@AlejandroJomar do you mean the ishikawadai version instead of secret denim?

Take a drink every time he says Oni.

I was really close to getting a pair of Oni asphalt, the texture was what caught my eyes.
Those are fire! What stopped you if I may ask?
Great vid! I've been looking at getting a pair of the all black 242s

Too many jeans to fade, too little time - Winston Churchill
Lmfaooo facts, that's why I have been giving a lot of my stuff away lowkeyyyy
Love oni fabrics but i'm definitely disappointed with their pocket bags. Mine ripped in less than 4 months, with moderate activity
