Callahan breaks quality you can trust! You can get a good look at a t-bone by sticking your head up a butcher's...wait.. but in all seriousness very nice pieces. You can tell they are extremely high quality! Love seeing quality American made parts, keep up the good work
You said "this car really represents what you guys would be building at home" but I don't know how alot of "us guys at home" that are buying $1500 brakes for one axle thats crazy.
I have a thunderbird turbocoupe rear in my '87.. That kept it 4 lug and converted to rear disc in one shot. ..and they come with 3:42 or 3:73 from the factory. The t-coupe axles, however are 3/4" longer, which isn't that bad, except I had big rims on it already, so when putting the Mustang axles back in it, I had to make brackets for the calipers (to move them in 3/4"). Just putting it out there! Cheers :D
Just a quick question, on your website for these there's a note that says "Please use red Loctite on all rotor bolts", but in the video it's recommended not to since the lock washers are included. I assume the lock washer method is what's recommended but I just wanted to make sure I understand correctly. This could also be particularly confusing for someone who goes to buy this kit and reads the listing but doesn't watch the video.
You wouldn't happen to be a fan of Derek, would ya? ;D (He's awesome imho! ) Pretty sure the flanges are a bit different from an Explorer rear -vs- a fox mustang rear (The bolt holes don't really line up). I'm sure someone can chime in that knows 100%, but I'm about 95% sure.

I was looking for a disc brake conversion for 8.8 that would fit with strange axles and c clip eleminators. This is exactly what I need. Thanks!!
Now we need a 4 lug kit!

A Ford 8.8 is a Ford 8.8….. it don’t transform or Mutate bc you changed its home.

@@geedawgzzz I think he's asking if it'll bolt up without any more modding though...
@@billymanilli , correct you are.
@@billymanilli , That Dude is a trip! lol
So are these not recommended for a daily driver
Is there a torque spec for the nuts that hold the cclip eliminator and the back plate?
Did you have to cut the axle tube off any?
Yes, standard procedure needs to be done to fit the c clip eliminator axles
@@MotionRaceworksOfficial i thought so just didnt hear Doug say anything in the video! Thanks!!!
Too bad I didn’t win that car.
