Given the quick dry is described as "fitted" and you say they aren't so stretchy, could they be too tight for someone with larger legs?
I think that you would have to try them. It's hard to say. I do have some room in them. I would say that I'm an average size. However, they are not that loose or baggy on me at all.
@@meandmyjackets Thank you. If I buy one, I'll probably go for the Gamma Lightweight if its more stretchy. It's also the only one that is PFC free.
I do own the lightweight, and I really do like them.
Arcteryx.. keep your naming. I bought a pair about 10 years ago.. very light. With pockets on the back. Great for summer. But can't find them today.
Not only do the names change, but they do revise piece often. But that's not a bad thing.
Would really care for taken on the new gamma lightweight hoody, I’ve order but on fence on returning as the sizing is way off comparable to sizing issues with the Proton Heavyweight.
I'll have to try the new one compared to the older version.
Great reviews, thanks! I'll never understand why Arc refuses to sew in rear pockets. I don't buy that rear pockets don't work well with a harness, my other pants with rear pockets work just fine while wearing a harness. Not having rear pockets have prevented me from buying a majority of their pants.
That's a good point, thanks for your input
The QuickDry version actually has one rear pocket, according to Arc’teryx’ item description. Have rear pocket is a huge plus for me as well.
Great review, thank you. Which pant would you say is the most 'fitted'? My use case is everyday use (walking the dog) and travelling. Torn between the three but edging toward the quick dry for the extra pockets. Thanks
I really feel that they all fit about the same. I did not notice that any one was that different.

terribly confusing video due to your conflating of names. i watched twice and i’ve got no idea which pants are which.
Sorry for the confusion. It's difficult due to the fact that Arcteryx has changed the names. Some people know them by their older names if they have bought them in the past.
The black pants are the current Gamma pants, which used to be the Gamma LT (LT stood for "lightweight").
The blue pants are the current Gamma Lightweight, which used to be the Gamma SL (super light).
The grey pants are the Gamma Quick Dry.
thx
Same for me haha. I was like didn’t he just say that was the lightweight now it’s the gamma, I’m so lost. 🤦🏽♂️
@@meandmyjacketsThx for clearing that up.
