10 Minutes Turkish Style Savory Pancake (Kaşık Dökmesi)

- I have an easy and fluffy Turkish style savory pancake recipe for you. You can make it in 10 minutes. The cheese, cornflour, and dill give a reach taste to it. For breakfast, lunch or whenever you are hungry make these in no time.
Ingredients For Savory Turkish Pancake (Kaşık Dökmesi)
2 medium-size or 1 large egg (1 had half egg in the fridge, added that to the mixture in the video)
1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
1/2 cup plain yogurt (try to curdle the milk with lemon juice if you can find yogurt)
1/2 cup cornflour (add all-purpose or whole-wheat if you don't have)
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp or more all-purpose flour (check the consistency after adding the half cup)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
about 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill (optional), try dry mint, basil, or other fresh greens if you have. Add red pepper flakes to make it hot.
About 1/3 cup loosely packed feta cheese or any kind you have or prefer
More olive oil to cook
nonstick or cast-iron pan

I made this recipe 2nd today for the breakfast and it came out really well this time. The Corn Meal made all the difference. The texture was good, the outer was crispier and the taste was really good compare to the ones I did only with all-purpose flour earlier.

I love these. We made savoury pancakes with oysters when we hunted them ourselves. These look delicious. Dill is a good herb, it helps keep your skin and body elastic. Could use chopped parsley another healthy plant. Plant some things if you can...Wild dandelions are very healthy

and make them sometimes sweet, sometimes savoury. We like to use either butter or ghee in the pan to cook them
for another flavour sometimes

In America, we tend to eat sweet pancakes and only for breakfast, but this is a perfect snack or part of a meal later in the day as well! I think I would like to add finely chopped vegetables like capsicum (red pepper), carrot, corn or spinach - is there a different recipe for vegetable pancakes?
