Yep I've been a fan since 2010 man
Jamie got me into watching videos. It all started on tv in the early morning on PBS. I woke up early to watch. Then my brother bought me two of his books and now here.

It's been around 5 or 6 yrs since I ran across earlier videos of Jamie on simple pancake recipe. As a dad of two kids I must say: Jamie, I owe you a lot. Like really a lot!

I was every time, literally every morning, looking for the ideal recipe (the ones I tried were either too complicated, or not that tasty) and finally I found it 😍 Jamie makes it look so easy!

This is the same recipe that was in my Girl Guide Handbook, brilliant recipe. I now use Doves Farm gluten-free plain flour, 1tsp baking powder and a small tsp xanthan gum instead of (lovely normal) flour. You can also add a dessert spoon of golden caster sugar and a teaspoon of good vanilla extract. One tip from my handbook, for round Scotch pancakes tip the batter off the end of the spoon (into the pan), for oval let it run off the side of the spoon. Yummm
I remember when I got your first cookbook years ago, I still love it and use it. There are so many fantastic recipes and one of my favs is focaccia with sour cherry, vanilla sugar and butter. There is no such recipe anywhere else on the internet but only in that book. The best focaccia ever! ❤
