Edgar was a GENIUS! And the sad thing is that he'll never get the acclaim for his work as he certainly deserves. But to all of us who love T.D. he'll be in our hearts!
I started to listen to and love their music 45 years ago, when synthetic & electronic devices were just being developed. I always loved piano, organ music but this is much more.
I have listened to TD countless times, I own many of the albums they made in the last 3 decades, and of all the concerts this one stands out so much for me. It was hard to watch Edgar's health decline, but he kept doing what he (and we) loved! RIP Edgar you are very much missed and your band members too, they are all extremely talented musicians, sending you all love and greetings from USA always ❤ 🎶
I'm a 90s kid and I only discovered them a few years ago. Gosh I wish I could have seen them live. I love their music dearly-holds a certain place in my heart as they are truly unique and an inspiration to me. You've been blessed with great music.
Have you ever listened to a French synthesizer composer named Jean Michel Jarre, he has some great music as well. You should try checking his music out, I think you might like it.
Sounds like classic Tangerine Dream . I am 42 years of age and have been a fan since my early teen´s . I often listen to Exit , Livemiles and Poland . I have numerous albums which span a long time and they are always an enjoyment to listen to . Keep up the excellent work and I know I can enjoy their music for many years to come .
Just amazing musicianship from all on board so fluent and polished! I wish we could go back to 2012 it was much better and saner days then these in 2023!
I am a fan of TD when a have heard them on the late night radio , i was then 12 years young now i am 61 , just fantastic to hear them over and over again
When introduced to Ricochet back when it was released I became a fan. Getting me more albums like Tangram, Stratosphere, Live Encore, Rubicon I was diving deep in TD's world. The highlight was me attending a live concert in the Congress Center Hamburg. I'll never forget. I am glad they were able to pass on the legacy. RIP Edgar Froese.
Tangerine Dream was the kind of music that played like the soundtrack to my life. Train rides and sunsets, city hustle and bustle or quiet moments of self reflection had this music as a background or foreground. Edgar Froese was Tangerine Dream with an interchangeable cast of dreamer musicians. I am too sad to say more except that I want to thank you for posting this concert video. RIP Edgar. You are missed already.
Listening to Phaedra near the end brought tears to my eyes, I have never heard it played so well, Exceptional !!! Long live Tangerine Dream in what ever earthly form it takes.
wonderfull. Thxs for sharing. ............40 years has past since I heard TD and my musical ear woke. 40 years of listening and playing. Thank you Edgar, my brother , for opening and sharing your world of sound. Have a good and musical rebirth master.
It's uniquely satisfying being a Tangerine Dream fan since I was a teenager back in the 80s. Not many people I knew even knew who TD was! Loved 'em regardless :)
I discovered TD round about 1971 thanks to a German pen friend (it was long before e-mail!) and I've been a diehard fan ever since. I'm just sorry I never got to see them live.
I propose that Edgar Froese be entered into official historical relevant documents and textbooks for his influence in 20th century music. I very much believe that entire EDM Electronic Dance Music Culture (Trance Techno Rave Jungle and so forth) evolved out of younger kids listening to Tangerine Dream. I am so terribly sad I never got to see them live. I was ready to fly cross-country once in my later years. But then I became fully disabled. Ok that is God's design but still I wish I'd have had that chance. ....... To the family and friends and ALL the MUSICIANS that had the HONOR to play with Tangerine Dream: THANK YOU. May your respective Gods and spirits shine upon you and I hope I say that in a style that Mr. Froese would appreciate because I suspect he was a very open minded spiritual man. Rest in peace and thank you for your gift. Allen Nance, Las Vegas, NV, USA
RIP Edgar Froese 1944 -2015. You were a legend and an inspiration. Your music will live on forever. Personal fav album Phaedra. TD fan in Great Yarmouth, England.
I could weep with the beauty of the music...and I could weep at seeing how frail Edgar is looking. I've followed his music for 35 years and his influence on my life has been huge. Hats off to you King Edgar.....for the musical pleasure you have given your fans over the years! Thanks for the upload guys!

Dear Friends, this is a message to you we are deeply sorry for … On January 20th, Tuesday afternoon, Edgar Froese suddenly and unexpectedly passed away from the effects of a pulmonary embolism in Vienna. The sadness in our hearts is immensely. Edgar once said: “There is no death, there is just a change of our cosmic address." Edgar, this is a little comfort to us. Yours, EASTGATE MUSIC & INET-TV team
so sad, glad i heard him /them york minster and queens bradford, there is no good or bad TD there is just TD and an evolution of sound and moods that change our feelings ..
Oh Wow, what a shame. I didn't even know he was sick. I bought many TD RECORDS, CASSETTE TAPES and CD's. My first was SORCERER. RIP, Edgar Froese. You were GREAT! I Love you, man.
I saw Sorcerer in '76 in Pendleton Oregon. I noticed two things. Soundtrack: Tangerine Dream Director of Photography: Vittorio Storaro Both have a special place in my favorite people of talent. Something about genius level works. You can tell instantly that the person is gifted. While Sorcerer was a remake of another great film - Wages of Fear, it did have some quality moments. And the reason? Tangerine Dream and Vitorio Storaro.
Super Konzert.phänomenale Multiinstrumentalisten, und mittendrin Mastermind Edgar Froese.Du bist immer in meinem Herzen.
Fantastic Brilliant - hairs on my neck, raised all the through set , a TD devotee since around 1975, keep it up for another 50 years Fab ! - thank you.. Fantastisch Brilliant - Haare an meinem Hals, hochgezogen das ganze Set, ein TD-Anhänger seit ca. 1975, mach weiter so für weitere 50 Jahre Fab ! - Danke schön ..
Edgar, was a master composer Those synthesis are far ahead I have always admire Edgar & Klaus Schulze the way their sounds palmitate vibrantly to imaginative worlds in child with in~RIP Edward!! a Fan from Mid 70's Paris /USA
I saw this amazing group twice in Boston and I will never forget their sound. They were to return in October of 2001 but the events of 9/11 cancelled that. Simply one of a kind!
I have listened to TD since the 1970s. Several movies inspired me to find out more, movies like "Sorcerer." I had it on my bucket list to hear Edgar play guitar life. In my opinion, Edgar Froese should be at the TOP OF THE LIST for World's Greatest Guitarist.
I have been listening for over 40 yrs . SO AWESOME! we had tickets for them in Atlanta in summer 2001 at the Roxy in Atlanta.. Then 9/11 happened, so they cancelled.maybe one of these years
Great! Yes, Exit, Poland, Stratosfear, Ricochet and many, many other albums are timeless musical artworks touching the soul. Thank you for viewing and commenting!
The music begins with Ricochet. In 1980-ies in Poland in a plebiscite of electronic music listeners of Polish Radio 3 it won as the greatest piece of electronic rock.
It was in an interview in England in some radio station that Edgar said he will be satisfied if people listen to his music after death to be remember. Well, absolutely remembered. This is an amazing performance. Progressing thru the years, getting better and getter. TD legacy is enormous as is artistic and musical influence. These guys are at their peak. VIVA TD !!! by the way, love Edgar guitar style.
I was very sad to hear of Edgar 'leaving the planet', as he said of someone he knew who had just died, he said this at the Lowry concert in May 2011 in Salford, Enjoy the Cosmos my dear Edgar, thank you for your life's work in music. I met him in Berlin in May 2012 at the meet and greet at the Admiralspalast concert. I have been to TDs concerts since the mid 1970s and I still love their music. John.[aka Old Bloke in Wales]
Edgar Froese was the most talented electronic keyboardist on the planet, bar none, and I hope that his music never leaves our soul conciousness...Namaste Edgar
Well, I saw TD in the 70ies somewhere in Hamburg, and it was a life-changing experience. In the beginning of the concert - while we were waiting for the musicians to appear on stage - the latter was pitch black & no-one there. Just the soft glow of computers, Synthesizers, etc. Suddenly the machines began to play, one after the other, and still no-one on stage to be seen. Eerie, surreal, and a bit spooky ! And then first Edgar appeared, then his bandmates, and the concert took its course. Very fascinating performance that never really left me since then. The rise of the machines...
What a pity....just great music..My favorite music and group since 1975..Got allmost all realesed CD rom Tangerine Dream Fantastic instrumental and energetic educated music...early 1983 i got the choice to see live in concert in Budapest...was fantastic experience This concert are all great popular song are included..Thanks for sharing my frend Cheers and keep uploading if You got any more cocert videos Thanks again You must upload more to made more popular who dont kow this great music!!
Great music from one of my favorite bands TD Thank you so much!
Amazing concert with some nice interplay between members (Edgar and Linda on "Blue Bridge", Iris and Hoshiko on "Teetering Scale". A lot of "hits", the haunting "Girl on the Stairs," a powerful rendition of "Stratosfear," and a superb updating of "Phaedra". No, this isn't the Frose/Franke/Baumann TD, nor the band of the '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s or even the '00s. It is the Tangerine Dreams of today, a competent, matured band who do have a more pronounced jazzy streak but still rock.
Hi there to all Tangerine dream fans, this is the first time I've watched the electric mandarin tour video, wish I was there to see and the atmosphere is great, I've been a fan of the TD,since I was a teenager, and my son is also a great fan . keep up the good work lads .i wish i know when the dream is touring England again, I know Edgar Froese is no longer with us. But hopefully Jerome Froese keeps the band going and his band Loom, which I love to hear live. The two girls Linda Spa, and iris are both exceptional.
TD....epic epic epic... thank you for the heart...the soul...the essence of audible life..the passion, commitment... My heart Breaks for your Loss..and soars at His incredible legacy
I watched it throughly & joyfully, This gig is one of the warmest & most friendly ones that TD have ever performed, I would recommend it to my friends who are unfamiliar with EM, Billions of thanks 4 sharing ;)
I have been a fan of TD since Phaedra. I have never seen them live, but was planning on seeing the Electric Mandarine tour in Washington or Philadelphia until I ended up spending that entire weekend in the hospital. So thank you very much for this outstanding video of a great concert. As for the comments about Iris Camaa, I must say that I found her performance and enthusiasm were a great part of the show.
Ricochet was my first TD experience, many years ago. Still listening with the same passion, especially their older creations...Fascinating and unique, unparalleled band, I hope one day I can see the live!
This is one group that you cannot categories, they were pioneers of the New Age Era but with a "Rock"overtone clearly making them unique, The world will miss Edgar Froese and his genius consciousness!
RIP Edgar thx for Years of lovley Music and Sounds We learn loads of Music Defenition Electronics. Youre Korg and Moogs and others miss you and the World love you
:-) My pleasure if you like it. Has been a lot of work to cut this vast amount of raw footage, so I appreciate your comment very much. Thanks for viewing!
This concert is just magnificent! RIP Edgar Froese! Thank you much for uploading, it was a pleasure to watch some beautiful music in there indeed! I pray the NW0 (scum) and powers that be let us out to play and attend wonderful concerts soon, we need some joy in our lives!
I wish one of their U.S. stops on the Phaedra Farewell tour would be in Florida, not counting the cruise that leaves from Miami. I've been a fan since I discovered TD in 2002 at the young age of 13 but never had the chance to attend one of their concerts. At least I have Edgar's upcoming autobiography of TD to look forward to at the end of the year since I pre-ordered it. I can't wait to read it! Long live the Dream!
I'm not sure I understand your question, but Ricochet (to be precise Ricochet Part II from the album with the same name) starts at 00:00:57 and ends at about 00:08:25. The introduction is part of the song, not separate from it. Song titles always appear in the middle of the song. Thx for viewing!
Yes, the Warsaw concert is one of the masterpieces, I still listen to the original record and also to the newer version very often. "Horizon" is one of my all-time favourites. Best wishes to Poland and thank you for your comment!
Yes, that's very true. Performing a "sound landscape" such as this with instruments creating or triggering sound waves is even outperforming any studio recording of the same - it lives with the vibrations of the musicians and the crowd and so each live performance is very unique and impressive. Thx for viewing & commenting!

A superb demonstration of eletronic cibernetic music by a quite competent band... congratulations again!
Edgar was a GENIUS! And the sad thing is that he'll never get the acclaim for his work as he certainly deserves. But to all of us who love T.D. he'll be in our hearts!
Edgar has got acclaim - the new TD are Edgar as far as I think! They’re major but not so well known……
Richochet. It could go on forever and I would not stop listening. What a masterpiece.
So, so true!
To Cyanab. The BEST concerts ARE like that! We WOULD still be there!
I started to listen to and love their music 45 years ago, when synthetic & electronic devices were just being developed. I always loved piano, organ music but this is much more.
J’ai 65 ans et suis toujours fan depuis mes 15 ans!!!!!mes rêves sont mandarine !
I agree❤

Me too, mi older sister had "Stratosfear" vynil and I listened to it when I was a child and got astonished at it..
Me too❤

I have numerous albums which span a long time and they are always an enjoyment to listen to . Keep up the excellent work and I know I can enjoy their music for many years to come .
Livemiles is great. I was been there 1987 at the concert at the Reichstag in Berlin
"There is no death, there is just a change of our cosmic address."
But maybe we loose our sense of HERE.
It's uniquely satisfying being a Tangerine Dream fan since I was a teenager back in the 80s. Not many people I knew even knew who TD was! Loved 'em regardless :)
My dream quest began when Phaedra can out on vinyl in the early 70s. TD has only gotten better.
You're not the only one having this experience. And this is what should make us very proud, because TD fans are special people.
Ditto! Sadly enough I never had the opportunity to hear TD and Edgar Froese.
they along with Kraftwerk (both German bands by the way) are true pioneers of modern electronic music!

Great Show, I attended the performance they did in Los Angeles !:)
It sounds lovely and perfect voice I have enjoyed this with my late wife and it reminds me of her and I love her so much😘
TD....epic epic epic... thank you for the heart...the soul...the essence of audible life..the passion, commitment...
My heart Breaks for your Loss..and soars at His incredible legacy
in Santa Barbara CA - and LA.... i was THERE!
Last chance to see my Favorite band of all time!
God... we miss you soooo much Edgar!
This is an institution❤. I’m forever grateful to Edgar and Tangerine Dream.
This is one group that you cannot categories, they were pioneers of the New Age Era but with a "Rock"overtone clearly making them unique, The world will miss Edgar Froese and his genius consciousness!
RIP Edgar

Linda @ Long Island Sunset
What a legendary performance.
RIP. Dzięki za wszystko co nam dałeś. Płakać się chce.
Awesome. Been a fan since the 80's, still have the plastic LP albums.
Say Vinyl ....sounds cooler:)
Love the Sally's garden track among many others. Roll on TD, forever a fan at 48 years of age.
Just love the Dream. Saw them in London and in Paris back in the day. Thanks for this, it's wonderful.
RIP , Edgar ! Thank you for your music !

:-) My pleasure if you like it. Has been a lot of work to cut this vast amount of raw footage, so I appreciate your comment very much. Thanks for viewing!
had no idea he passed away. big influence! He absolutely is going to be missed!
He lives on in his music each time we listen to Edgar..
This concert is just magnificent! RIP Edgar Froese! Thank you much for uploading, it was a pleasure to watch some beautiful music in there indeed! I pray the NW0 (scum) and powers that be let us out to play and attend wonderful concerts soon, we need some joy in our lives!
I used to listen to these guys when I was 16...I'm now 50...thanks for posting this inett and thanks for the memories TD.
I have to see Tangerine Dream before I die, it's just got to be done. They've made some really great music over the years.
I have love Tangerine Dream since the mid 70s. Superb.
Long live the Dream!
there are no words it 's just divine
I'm not sure I understand your question, but Ricochet (to be precise Ricochet Part II from the album with the same name) starts at 00:00:57 and ends at about 00:08:25. The introduction is part of the song, not separate from it. Song titles always appear in the middle of the song. Thx for viewing!
I have transcribed the piano intro Ricochet, and I’ve just learned to play it. It’s just great.
I saw Risky Business by myself in a theater when the movie opened The next day, I bought Exit, and not long after that I was hooked.
loved this show cheers edger and than k you for youre pressence
Video and sound excellent thanks for the sharing :-) . Amazing performance of one of my ever favorite band that always inspire me.
DANKE EDGAR!
Yes, the Warsaw concert is one of the masterpieces, I still listen to the original record and also to the newer version very often. "Horizon" is one of my all-time favourites. Best wishes to Poland and thank you for your comment!
Tangerine Dream the best band of all time.
RIP Edgar , been a fan since early 80's , sad to read that you've passed away ...
