    Nice. I was looking for an air leak in the normal places- the intake air stuff on my ski doo 300F tundra.. I think I'll check the crank seals now and go from there. Thanks for the tips👍🙏👋

    Hey, is there any chance you could do a quick video on how to remove a rotax max engine and exhaust (including where all pipes go and throttle cables etc) from its chassis for basic cleaning (preferably a tony kart), thanks!

    Hi, You have some great content. I'm new to go karts and just purchased a CRG 125 Rotax that has been parked for around 5 years. I believe the owner had serviced it on a regular basis and removed the fuel and coolant before it was parked 5 years ago. What would you recommend to do before starting? Many thanks

      awesome news, welcome to the club!. most likely a new battery, fuel line and filter, fuel pump kit, needle and seat, brake bleed and you should be all sweet.

    Just ran into the same issue with my TM R1. Ordered a new seal. Will try to carefully drill and replace the seal without taking the whole engine apart 🙈 it’s leaking on the chain side. 4 hours of total running only…

      yeah that sucks, you will have to remove the ignition rotor too then

    Hi, so I am wanting to start in junior ka100 and I have questions of maintenance costs as well as when to get a rebuild, if you know any good forums for me to visit and learn all about the class let me know.

      Hey Ayden, the cost of racing is unlimited, especially if you are racing for victories. however the cost of ownership is not excessive if you are to use the engine on practise days. so I say, race to your budget. if that means 2 times a year, do it, still fun.

    Hey Dez, I suffered an engine issue with my Rotax at the track the other day, and now when I try to start my engine it makes a high pitched squeaky sound… I think it’s the clutch but just wondered if you had any idea? Thanks man, and keep it up!

    • @PowerRepublic
      @PowerRepublic  2 года назад

      Hey D, yeah that is probably an unrelated issue with he clutch bearing I would image

      Not bad for some fun. No good for a race kart currently at most clubs. The KA100 is the closest equivalent. Otherwise save up your race coupons until you can afford a TAG Res kart package for about 4-5k
