Wow, one of my favorite videos in the internet
Beautifully articulated.
I'm about to start a new chapter in my life and I want to get the most out of it ❤❤
That is really good to hear, How is it going so far? Anything you wish to share with everyone!
I am 39 and single but I have always looked to improve my career and this year I am planning to start my PhD with my job as well. Thanks for your video and thoughts.
I can’t even describe what my life has been like in the past 6 months, let alone the previous years. I just know I never want to experience anything like it again. I’ve been through enough in my life. I truly want nothing to do with anything from the past. All I want now is a peaceful existence, I don’t care about anything else. People and their opinions don’t matter, I don’t care what anyone else does in their lives, I’m going to live my life, my way and on my terms. I can sum up what it feels like fairly easily by saying that I feel like I’m having to endure someone else’s karma.
amazing! Thank you!
One of the best Ted Talks I have watched in a long time more than 1x. 🔥
Very well researched and effortlessly presented subject, non-linear life. This Ted Talk has prompted me to make a commitment to write my life story.

To anyone out there experiencing life transitions, may you conquer your own battles and live a meaningful and positive life you deserve. 💙
Thank you❣️
This chick was all like...”You are going through a midlife crises...” I’m like, “ Yeah, I am. I’ve gone through many crises. I will also have more as I age...”
Meditation is the best way for me to deal with these. Thanks!!
Amazing talk. And I've listened to ALOT of ted talks. "We're going to sourdough are way through it!" lol
Thank you - this was one of the most impactful talks I have listened to. Extremely helpful, flawless presentation, and above all - informative!
Loved it. Thank you
Brilliant! Loved it!
This has really saved my life. I will not give up on my happy ending.
I really enjoyed this. Thank you!
I'm suspect that the content of Bruce Feiler's talk is his own, since the term "LifeQuake" was coined in 2009 by Dr. Toni Galardi, author of the book "The LifeQuake Phenomenon." It looks like Bruce lifted virtually all the key elements from her book, including its "7 Steps," "Tool Kit," "Rewriting your Story," and even her Italian expressions! (And he's not even Italian.) Are we truly to believe that he developed these exact phrases on his own?
He has a good point about everything
I think Im a bad person so I came here to find change and find wisdom.
You might have made some bad choices, but you aren’t a bad person - and the mistakes are where the growth is - so just learn, grow and forgive yourself Kevin
thank you very much
Thank you
Very interesting and well performed.
Great
In response to the comments I see… Him saying “What I call..” and inventing or coining a term are two different things. He never said he created the word. Everything written has already been wrote; everything you speak has already been spoke. So the handful of y’all questioning his authenticity can take a walk. What he gave me I’m good with, but y’all call it plagiarism. I call it updated game. Period.
Paying homage is respect. Nobody is interested in listening to a thief.
I am just starting a medical transition on my trans journey and I am terrified. This was really helpful. Thank you so much.
It's about changing life as style not body shape 😑
@@bengbeng2005 Indeed. Funny you didn't understand it.
@@bengbeng2005if u watched the video carefully he also talked about gender change....i think u r going through mental crisis
All the best 👍💯..... Just believe in yourself and embrace the fact that u r doing what makes u happy....
Wtf
Rituals, that part's good
Humph. Aside from the academic questions presented, I was thinking this is a lot of narrative psychology
Lol. No one in my family asks questions about or wants to hear my stories.
Omg, this happened to my husband and I know another, all after Parkinson's disease diagnosis. The amygdala is dying. They are not making enough dopamine.
I am struck by the glaring similarities of your material to Dr. Toni Galardi's 2009 book called "The Lifequake Phenomenon," a term which she coined. Other examples of your blatantly using her material as your own are the Italian phrases by which she comes honestly (and to a Jewish scholar from the southern US, not so much!). Then there are her "toolkits," her "seven stage model," "Rewriting Your Story..." Jewish ethics - or any ethics, for that matter, would call all this in question. If you like her work so much, then rather than co-opting it, the professional and ethical action here would be to acknowledge your source. Are you willing to do the honorable thing here?
Did you mean that Galardi coined the term "lifequake" or "lifequake phenomenon?" Lifequake as a word exists on the internet in time-stamped articles as early as 2005, preceding Dr. Galardi's book by 3-4 years, with those sites saying it was a popular term in the 1970s amongst the "hip" youth.
I tried my best. Take care.
How are u now?
its easy to say. I am already done with this life.
TEDx, please put down the talk unless Mr. Feiler clarifies on using Toni Galardi's work, calling it his own ideas and terms. If you look into "The Lifequake Phenomenom" and other books, you will find the material he uses and coins as its own.
I am perfectly fine with people using the work of others for their talks, there is nothing wrong with it.
But its wrong not to quote, and its even more wrong to sell it as his own work. Especially if he makes so much money with it already.
Plus, "The italians have a saying" - oh what a coincidence that he also uses a italian saying in his talk ;) I just heard him saying it while rewatching to check my allegations
I am having a major whenever life crisis at the age of 26..
God wrote our life story man usually tries to live without the wisdom of Yah in the scriptures..the enemy sabatoges our God given faith in the hereafter. Leading us astray from health, prosperity n safety..seek Him and you will FIND HIM
The idea of a Lifequake was coined in 2009 by A book called The Lifequake Phenomenon by Dr Toni Galardi, so I do not know why you say you made it up?
This guy did not come up with the term "Lifequake." Dr. Toni Galardi coined it over a decade ago. He is plagiarizing her work and should be stopped!
Oh karen.
🤣😂🤣😂@@ThaRealHomie
