Now you tell me it didn't make anybody a teeny bit uncomfortable to have a pregnant woman doing cartwheels and backflips
Superhero
It made me cringe hard.
+Amazing Zero probably the reason why her water broke :/
+deeman010gdj lol that would be it u can push yourself only so far when pregnet
+Amazing Zero That baby boy is going to love roller coasters.
*Expecting her to give birth to millions of spider-babies*
Why didn't marvel do this?
+dragonfighter4171 i wanted it to come out in a spiderweb sack :(
Could still happen.. I mean that kid could of easily been someone she planted egg sacks in devoured, then waited till the eggs were ready to hatch./
The ass King
i also wanted the baby to be see threw
She would have to leave a dead body for the baby's to eat.
+lowercase21 That would be Perfect way to killed Spider-woman. Eaten by spider-babies.
the most unbelievable thing in this entire comic is jessica getting reception on what looks like a nokia 3310 in another dimension to call her friend in deep space
+Can Doodle Don't forget she's on a black hole.
meh probably made by tony. Tony has amour in his blood I'm not surprised
Hey, a thought just occurred to me recently.
If they can let Jessica have a baby....
....Then why couldn't they let Peter and MJ stay married?
Marvel: Hypocrisy, our main slogan!
Jessica is a minor hero, she is not protected by Status Quo.
The guy who did it didn't like Peter being more mature such as being married and shit. It wasn't "Relatable" so his dumbass undid it and Marvel still hasn't fixed that shit despite the Universal dislike of that Crap. Fucking DC got Lois and Superman back together, what's marvel excuse?
@@celestialsoldier622 Probably because they're idiots and they think they know better.
@@celestialsoldier622 Renew Your Vows 616 Edition when
XD
Jon Kent-ify the Spiderlings
A hospital inside a black hole? That's some Rick and Morty logic right there.
In fairness.. it's not entirely crazy.. compared to other things. But the baby thing is really pushing it. Like, REALLY pushing it
Were the writers of this comic high or something?
probably
+Munzur Baba It's very over the top of the top and over the top again while doing back flips in a wheelchair. Love it.
+Munzur Baba Yes, Yes they were...
+Munzur Baba I mean they are writing comic books...
+Munzur Baba Super soldier serums, magic hammers, gamma monsters, mutants, aliens, inhumans, and *this* is the weirdest thing? What?
"The hospital is in a black hole" who thought that putting a hospital in a black hole is a good idea?
Apparently the same people who thought putting a Prison in a Black-Hole was a great idea too.
@@danielramsey6141 that atleast made sense
A couple years later...
Son: Mom, am I an accident?
Spider-woman: Shiiiiiiii-
I know she's a superhero, but NO WAY would she be able to fight off all those skulls after a C section. The cut from the operation would be spilling out blood in the gallons and she would die of shock if she did that. Jessica isn't wolverine who could heal that fast. A normal birth of a child is taxing enough on the mother's body much less an operation on top of it
Oh God do I seriously agree here, let alone the fact that Jessica Decided to forgo the Painkillers and morphine to to do this Crap as well, which is Really, Really Impossible!
I mean, super heroes fight with stab wounds and stuff all the time, so I don’t think it’s _that_ unbelievable. Lots of heroes will get _very_ deadly injuries in the middle of a big fight and still find the strength to keep on trucking~
Futuristic alian tech .
I guess the batch up much better than our us ,
Per human and superhuman abilities should have felt about before the unnecessary assault
@@SpookyGhostGoku yeh but the child, would prob die
"I'm here to give birth and kick some ass, and I already gave birth"
too good
announcer :Hulk you r the father
hulk:*rages*
Hulk did not smash
A hulk with spider abilities.. Hm.
+lowercase21 lmao i just imagine him trying to swing from a building with a web and takes down the whole building xD
+lowercase21 there is a hulk like that
Seriously?! You have to tell me more?
Skrull: We got an elite legion of Skrull soldiers. Spider-Woman: We got 30 soon-to-be mothers, and we're all in labor.
Bet you NEVER expected me to cover this one!
+Comicstorian *cough* god head part 2 hahaha
No but I'm glad you did!
the may parker spider girl universe
spider women had a son who was very sicm because of his powers
Will you ever do one of the crossover events for DC and Marvel. Please do any there are.
I hope her lover doesn't die from Radiation poisoning
This story gave me a headache and had so many pregnancy tropes. I feel dirty even knowing it exists.
Disney: yeah this is great!!!
Fans with brain: who did this crap?
Spiderman: I should've pulled out.
XD chill!
Who's the service provider, 'cos that's DAMN good signal coverage.
Kree-Mobile.
+biohazard724 Fucking...
+biohazard724 I was expecting chatari wireless with all their stupid adds everywhere
Tony stark's satellite has some good intergalactic coverage
+biohazard724 Or probably their other rival, AKree&Kree.
When I first heard this was coming out there was so much outrage, but now, I really like think I like this series.
soooooooooooo who is the dad?
+Mr Satan She's a strong independent spider-woman! She don't need no man to procreate!
+Mr Satan It will probably remain a mystery until they run out of stories and need to make a arc out of it.
+Mr Satan Was thinking the same question. Just for the cheap OMG factor its probably going to be one of Jessica's main male villains or one of her former allies of Hydra.
Galactus
+Mr Satan Its you!!! Its your baby!!
This fucking comic is burning my retinas
Female animals avoid danger during pregnancy but are very aggressive when threatened. So I find the dilemma, or conflict, of this story arc *"tolerable"*. The hospital is held hostage so she needs to defend herself and her child. I kind of wish the problem was directed more towards her rather than the Skrull prince. *I DO NOT want harm towards Jessica and her unborn child*, but I want a valid reason for her to fight. "They are after the child because he is special some how" or "They want revenge on Jessica."
Overall this/these comic issue(s) uses a attention grabber to sell Spider-Woman comics. It would've been unacceptable to have Jessica Drew fight crime while pregnant and I am glad they did not do this. I just compare this comic to B-rated movies, like Snakes on a Plane or Iron Sky (Nazis from the moon).
Cinema pointing danger is just about changing the subject. Only in humans do we think we made our friendship need. Pregnant is the time when a woman's body is making a maintaining the. Chicken walk talk to gum. This episode bilter. Should have given birth easily with a giggle skip. She could have killed the people who were giving her the unnecessary c-section
She has spider powers chill you're acting like she's a normal pregnant woman.
"He's totally screwed." I would love if they made a comic series on the kid's point of view as he gets older and mixed into superhero business.
Well I'm glad this much anticipated story about the pregnancy of one of marvel's most beloved heroes was written so realistically... (he says sarcastically)
"The one with the butt?" Lol laughed so hard
3:03 The lazy eye keeps distracting me XD
So asking her who is the father was considered offensive? I feel like asking that is very important if you're an Avenger. Especially after how poorly they handled it in Avengers #200.
When they announced this. I immediately said Morlun was the father. She had to pretend to be his mistress for days.
Captain Marvel recommended a maternity ward for her best friend.....a ward in a black hole?
BRILLIANT!
️I really I joyed this story I wasn't a big spider woman fan but this changed everything can't wait to read more
I remember spider woman having her own Saturday morning cartoon
comics. are. weeeeeeeeiiiiiiirrrrrrd!
Jad Mad Trust me. They're all are; which is why I would heavily reccomend you just stick to local movie joints, or just movies, or just joints, or movies and joints (yeah I won't judge how you spend your Saturdays)
Comic Rating:
F Minus
I like that she kicks ass after giving birth, its a thing I expect super heroes being able to do.
i want more stories of her because she more than a background charecter at best even better than spiderman at times
This feels like it would be joke on Family Guy or The Simpsons
6.7k like. So cool I haven't watched this one in a while so glad I came back to it.
This comic is so empowering to women everywhere! Why do people hate it?
I liked this more than I thought I would.
I love the 3d horizontal comic panels @ 4:07!!
this was a good one. thanks for covering this issue.
I love these green lantern videos there always so fum
I SAID FUM!!!
5:40
Your telling me that a Woman with superpowers after just Delivering her baby Viva C-section, goes to town on fighting Skrolls and ends up winning without the Aid of Drugs and Painkillers!?
BUUUULLLLLLSHIT!!! That is Some 'Ol Bullshit, even for a Superhero! There is no way in hell ANY superpowered Lady after Pregnancy could ever pull that shit off, they'd be in Way too much Pain to even Fight, let alone her organs would've been falling out after her stitches!
I know Spider Woman has a hate boner for the Skrolls, but this is seriously treading stupidity levels here! Where's Impossible Man when you need him!
Damn not even super heroes get maternity leave
The fact she told them to "Seel her up" 😂
the father is obviously Darth Vader guys come on we should all know this by now
Jessica Drew has a baby boy? Didn't that originally happen in the Spider-Girl books, he was named Gerry Drew. Is that his name in ANAD too?
I loved it. I really loved it. I'm pretty sure you can't go from C-section to taking down 2 dozen Skrulls, but I'm no mom, so maybe you can. Mom's are pretty damn awesome. (The art and panel layout was really cool, too!)
future tech plus badass superhero. but normally, the anesthesia alone would put you out of the fight and even if you did, the physical activity would burst the sutures
+Samuel Rowland She specifically asked for no anesthesia and demanded ... something. Uppers? Adrenaline? Can't remember exactly what she asked for, but it was some sort of counter for fatigue. (She'd gone swimming through that back way like three times by then!!! It's a wonder she didn't go into labor sooner!) As soon as they zipped her back up. I think the place was a little too high-tech for something like sutures. lol
And that's two other reasons why she could do it
Samuel Rowland that and she's a bad ass. Three reasons, hahaha.
The last time a spiderwoman that had a kid didn't end up so well.
Tbh this is probably the best comic ever
To read while on acid
Spider women: *is 8 months pregnant*
Her opponent: studies karate the entire comic to deliver a brutal and unblockable kick
I can't see how anybody could see this storyline as anything other than fantastic and revolutionary :D
its extremely random
Birth happens yo! lol
The story is much better than I thought, much better than the America comic where a pregnant woman insisted on joining a war because women power I guess
It's awful. Coming from somebody who was once a massive fan of the character.
I'm genuinely interested now. Really do love how similar Jessica Drew is to Alana from SAGA. Can this team do a me Jessica Jones Story please?
the most badass pregnant woman in all of comics
Alex Feliciano I swear to god Marvel milked all of this whole story dry with this... why? no one asked for this.
goldenghost 2468 lol
This comic was fun!
is it weird that in the last few panels i got a ripely vibe from her especially after she killed all those skrull
Comicstorian apparently underestimated the awesome badassery or a determined mom.
Deer god Stan Lee was alive when this happened.
Just so you know, she's making a phone call from inside a black hole to somewhere in the depths of Space... I ain't even mad...
hope the story continue. Love to see the dad and if the son gets powers.
This would've been a great 10th Doctor Doctor Who episode.
biohazard724 first
Doctor who? More like Doctor Who done it?
Wow Jessica has an amazing tolerance of pain.
They really need to explain this shit or people will hate this preggo stuff.
Also why should she be pissed if someone asks her for the father?
Its not like thats something you cant ask
that was kinda boss
Women who don't want kids in their 20's changing their minds later is such a normal thing that anyone over the age of thirty rolls their eyes whenever a young woman claims she "never" wants kids. That said, dude you seem to have a real nerdrage problem with characters having motivations anywhere near those of real people. And they're even handling this arc with a level of sophistication that comics have never approached before. How long before Sue Storm started meeting future versions of her kid, second issue? Carol Danvers had a child and was mind controlled (by said child) into FUCKING HIM. But hey, at least they're all not not Jessica Jones, who did everything short of actually using Danielle as a melee weapon to attack villains with.
If you are talking about me nerdraging over this arc, I never did. Early on I said I wasnt digging this, but I definitely fell in love with this whole idea. I only cover arcs I enjoyed and I personally enjoyed this take on the idea of a superhero having a child. Which is why I covered it. I just hope the kid isnt pushed to the side now, the follow up arc already has Jessica leaving him with the babysitter and going off on an adventure in the multiverse.
+Comicstorian do more deadpool please
THe Civil War arc was pretty damn fantastic too (as well as a tie in could be!) You need to cover more Spider-Woman it's so good!
My birthday is coming up in a few weeks. Could you do another Kamala Khan adventure? Preferably the one when she teams up with Carol.
It just goes to show ya you never mess with pregnant women.
Have you seen Mel from Last of us 2? It worked out well for her and her baby.
@@Micsquzzy69 Bro😭😂
I dont suppose you guys might do an origin/complete story series on Sly Cooper or Ratchet & Clank? Im sure you guys would have fun doing that and we'd all certainly enjoy it too!!! :D
I got a little snipbit of this issue in the back of one of the ANAD spiderman comics, pretty good stuff
never expected you to cover this but it ended up being a really good story
Seriously did they ever reveal who the father is?
Nope, at least as far as I've read. She stays to the arguement "It doesnt matter"
Oh it's going to matter if the kid ever has an unnatural fascination with masks and world domination or gets moody, grows hair in all sorts of places and pops bone claws.. wait never mind that's called puberty.
yes in the following volume it is revealed she used a sperm donor @@MariahSyn
I can understand why people weren't to excited for this after what they did to Jessica Jones.
Guys at marvel:
"How can we make spider-woman cool?"
" idk, how about we make her preggo and fight some skrulls? "
Idk I kinda like it how often do they write about a pregnant superhero
The real question who's the father. For example let's say it's Luke cage the child would be a badass plus have sweet superpowers just saying.
It better be Luke Cage's baby. Only damn way it can possibly survive at that stage...
For those of you who are wondering who the father is, nobody knows. Jessica went to a sperm bank to have her baby.
well since its comic books jessica's baby is probably gonna get kidnapped then come back through some time travel portal a few issues later
Awesome they're finally doing some character development on this character!
I understand spider woman was artificially ensemenated but how, where, when and why? it's driving me crazy!
Man, I´m glad that I haven´t picked up any Marvel Comic since the Secret Wars ended
I'm gonna watch all these videos
Even after hearing this, I'm not on board for it. lp
"World's best spider-theme super spy" So, is Black Widow not included. A black widow is a spider.
i was a little scared too but the series is wonderful, super fun and funny and an homage to all mothers outthere. As a bonus the art is spectacular
Because of the movies black widow is the greatest spider themed spy
so comicstorian who's the father, I caught between a few spider man (not likely but would be funny), hawk eye, deadpool, and any other super hero with blue eyes as they are more likely to be the father, that is if the father is a super hero at all, and another twister is if Carol is the father (weird yes but hey no one would see it coming)
Have you done the Sinestro Corps War? If you haven't you totally should cover that one!
The baby's name is Gerry, if that somehow helps people come with an answer to the dad.
I saw a two headed Teletubby. Totally normal.
I like this storyline
I loved this arc! One of the best part was Jessica using an old Nokia phone.
I read this comic without knowing what woke was and actually enjoyed it.
This is so adventuristic for jessica chan
Wait. Who the Hell thinks that packing a Hospital into a Black Hole is a good Idea. Whaat?
Keeps people who aren't supposed to be there out... Or it's supposed to at least
Well it still is a Black(f*cking)hole. One technical issue and they are all dead. I don't think itnis a good Idea. But still good arguments:)
How on this god's green earth did they figure out how to make this comic get cranked up to 12? I mean, comics are crazy from the get go, and dialed up to 11 most of the time, but here you have a pregnant super hero, fighting aliens, who are holding an alien hospital hostage, in a pocket dimension(?) giving birth, and then immediately fighting more aliens. I don't explicitly have any objections to her having a kid or anything, but was there any context? Any lead up or anything? Or was she just hanging from some webbing Tuesday evening, and out of the blue goes "I'mma have me a baby." It's just a very odd thing to witness, or try and think about (a hero deciding to have a kid and, almost inevitably, drag said kid into their shit.) I just have no idea where to begin with, like, any of this, there's just a shit ton to process, and the thing that bugs me the most, is what is the significance of, really, any of it? It's interesting, no doubt, but what's the moral? What's the message? Is there one? A lot of comics do this, where there's just a shit ton of stuff that happens, but doesn't seem to have any sort of weight or value to the overall story or development and history of the character. Hell, a lot of the time it doesn't even say much about the character, like here for example. What does all of this mean? Spider-woman kicks a lot of ass? Yeah, no shit, did you know that water is wet? It's kind of like some of the hulk or superman stories where they just want to show off how impossibly strong he is, which when all is said and done, it leaves the overwhelming question, what's the point? More importantly, how are there any problems in the world if they're this fucking good? Damn, I don't know, my mind's just in a loop now after hearing all that.
I know the little boys in the comments dont like it, but its a pretty fun story I didnt think I would like.
tf kind of phone does Jessica have she got that Nokia
those things are indestructible. screw vibranium give me a Nokia shield.
This story was so unexpected, I'm glad you did it cause I wanted to read it, but it didn't look interesting to me. Thanks!!😊
this is like if doctor Seuss and stan lee had a baby then fed it only mushrooms.
Hmm. When i first saw this, I expected absolute garbage.
Now that I know what happens in it.....that was pretty decent. It's something different at least. I was kind of hoping it would follow her being pregnant longer. Also, it would have been cool for them to have her have superhuman pregnancy side effects instead of just generic pregnancy tropes. Oh well, that was a nice story. 3/5, would read actual comic.
Never liked clone characters but Jessica Drew was always especially dull.
Glad to see them doing something new with her.
Can't I find a simple video of this with a characters talk and no one explains it 😭😭😭😭
