Luz, Belos/Philip is just a delusional, remorseless, manipulative and selfish monster that had been taking advantage and fooling everyone of the Boiling Isles for many centuries.
The more he’s been feeding on palismen that he stole from many innocent witches he’s killed for many years, the more it’s made his inside a rotten, twisted, lethal, vile green sludge. And extending his hatred to witches that slowly disintegrating his sanity and his humanity.
As a psychopath, he has no love, no empathy, no morality, no remorse, no emotional attachment whatsoever to anyone that he sees as objects he can use and control and when they have given him what he needs or disappointed him of failures, he kills them all in the name of his claims for humanity to rid the world of all those - in his own words - “sick, vile evil witches “.
He’s even not able to take accountability for all the atrocities and suffering he’s inflicted on so many witches, demons and our best characters we come to love, admire and respect.
But you are far the opposite from him. You, Luz the Human, have displayed your true self of what represents: kindness, empathy, compassion, fantasying, helping and understanding to others the way you want to be treated as. And, despite you having done mistakes, you always admit them and try to fix them, even when most of them isn’t your fault.
So no, you’re not bad as him.👍👌

@@alfredhinton8792Well we dont know how long it takes for Titans to hatch but it seems that it starts with the brain first, and then the other bodily systems like the neourological and the closest systems to the brain like the hearing system and then the rest of the body; given the huge size of the Papa Titan it makes sense something as colossal as that would take a huge chunck of time to develop and we dont know how old the other Titans were but it seems they were around King's age so babies or children when they got killed by hunters and the bigger skull probably belong to teenagers or young adults (in Titan Years) who most likely sacrificed themselves or died trying to rescue their younger siblings, never reaching full adulthood only the early stages of it.

What's worse about Belos? Even if he did come back, even if he did show the entire world his victory over the Demon realm and the boiling isles, people would still see an ancient bigoted manic corpse patting itself on the back for committing genocide...no *mass extinction* of multiple races and species over an entire civilization...
But he'd have no one left to turn his aggression on...even though he won, first thing he did that was his turning point on the boiling isles? he still killed his brother, what's to stop him from killing even more humans too? Once people looked at the boiling isles and started seeing discrepancies in his story he'd kill them too, seeing more "traitors" and would rant and rave being the "only true hero" for earth.
fighting for centuries in another world for the protection of the sake of humanity...and he'd smear out anyone who tried to tell him otherwise...
he could have had the disposal of all of the Titian magic at his figertips...and there would probably be a war...because he can't think that he's ever been in the wrong

I made a comment about Belos is like a child but what I meant was that I remember that he played pretend with his older brother Caleb with him being “the hero witch hunter” (as seen from the paintings in Hollow Mind) when they were kids but for the past 400+ years or so he has become so desperate to make that game of pretend real that he did horrifying things just so he can be an actual hero
He has his mind set on being the “saviour” like the role he played when he was a kid for far too long
He refuses to think that everything he did was evil and that it was just for the sake of humanity but like King’s dad said it was really “his need to be the hero in his own delusions”
    So sorry for the confusion!

    • @brentdye1504
      @brentdye1504 Год назад +1

      Of course he did.
Belos had lost both his humanity and sanity from the point by becoming the very thing he vow to destroy.
Mostly his heroic delusions was base on his role as the witch hunter.

I love that the music sounds like windchimes at first. 3:16 because you can't make a windchime play music, it only happens when the wind is blowing in the right direction, and only for as long. It really sells the idea of how important and how brief the chance she's getting right here will be.

Everyone in the world writes their own story. They write it with their every action, from their first to their last breath. Philip’s greatest shortfall was that he believed everyone else’s story revolves entirely around his, and that anything that didn’t conform to that ideal was evil and wicked. He couldn’t control Wild Magic, so he structured The Boiling aisles around a System he COULD control. As the old saying goes;”History is written by the Victors”, and had Belos won, had no witches survived, all of Earth would’ve sung his praises, with no one the Wiser.
