It's the S23 for me.. The irony about these camera comparisons is that the camera quality is close enough to not matter that much.. Why? Granted I'm not a camera geek but all of those pictures camera geek or not are going to be subject to software compression on social media platforms anyway.. So all of that pixel peeping just goes to waste in the end.. My only gripe would be software support but most people would probably change their phones long before the 5th year.. Myself included.. I don't think it's all that important talking about software support anymore or seeing it as a disadvantage for Samsung. This is 2023, this phone will get the latest update up till the end of 2027, that's 5 years of current software. You could pick it up in 2026 and still get 2 plus years of use. Again, I don't think the majority of people use one phone for 5 years. I personally wouldn't use a phone for more than 3. So if I give it up at the end of 2025, I'd be forfeiting 2 full years of upgrades.
Both phones have great hardware. As usual, it comes down to software. As you said, preference comes into play. I have used both operating systems since the iPhone 4 and Galaxy Note 2. I used to understand why people would choose iOS for the "it just works" factor. While I do have an iPhone 14 Pro, I strongly prefer my S23 Ultra. It's just a better experience with both hardware and more importantly, software. For me, the "it just works" experience comes from Samsung's One UI.
In India, iPhone costs 1,20,000 And Galaxy 72,000 Thats a huge difference in price. Lets take 2 extra years of software support for iPhone and 10 - 15% extra resale value. Still I will be saving 25,000 on galaxy. Thats quite impressive and with the money left I can get airpods pro 2nd gen 😅 Good work Samsung
Lol Samsung provides 5 years of security updates for flagship models whereas it's 6 years for the iPhones... But majority of ppl won't keep an iPhone for more than 5 years tbh... So no difference...
@@abhishekn9871 Most of the people replaces their phone 1 to 3 years later because the hardware lacks behind even if software is the latest like 4G, 5G, WiFi 5, 6. AMOLED and LCD etc. Some people are still using iphones with LCD displays. Even entry level OLEDs are better than those
I have been on iPhone from iPhone 4. I switched to S22 because Apple eco system was going too much on the high in our family. Switch was the best thing I did and I was able to find out, how much of marketing Apple uses to snap people. Once you go beyond the eye candy and willing to learn technology, you’ll find Android and keeping things separate is the best way to go. My wife has a iPhone 14 pro and year old phone I have beats iPhone in every picture shot, performance and battery life. I’m tired of Apple trying to sell all the latest and (self-claimed) greatest products. Reality is far from true. They make a fancy copy-paste from iPhone to mac and that’s it. People buy $1000 phone. I’m no longer falling for it. I’m happier to put the same text in OneNote/Google Keep/Evernote…… and use it even on my windows/Linux PC, not just mac
S23 256Gb costs 1019€ vs 14 Pro 256Gb at 1459€. When you add S23 features and Android features, S23 wins. Samsung just need a great Snapdragon. OneUi improves with each new version.
@@thomasbiers5673 why are you lying ? the S23 starts at 800$ vs 1000$ of the 14 Pro, he shouldve compared it to the base 14 but no the guy is biased trying to make the galaxy as average as possible
Always been a Android person. Have the pixel 5 now love the same phone. But I’m kinda getting board with Android. Been thinking about switch to the iPhone to see if I’ll like it. But I’ve heard nothing but great things about the S23. The S23 maxed out is under $800 the 14 pro base model is $1k I don’t know
Here in Italy, the s23 is around 600-700ish (online price) while iPhone 14 pro is one k at the least. Not comparable, it's more s23 ultra vs iPhone 14 pro.
I never buy Apple products. I have my reasons. But if you choose an iPhone, especially the Pro, you never have to wonder if Android has a better phone. No phone is"better" than the iPhone. Maybe it has some better feature but that's it. I do though belive that many people make a big mistake buying an iPhone. Most of them should identity how they use their phone before buying one. For example I have an aunt that buys an new iPhone every year. She can't even change the background or the ringing sound. And most of her photos are blurry because she haven't figured out not to move her phone while she's clicking the button to take a photo. She should have bought a cheaper Android with double the storage of her iPhone.
Iphone oversharp pictures an lack of contrast in certain situations. I think for price S23 is the winner here. I hope Pixel 8 improve temps, finger print scanner and battery life.
There is no direct comparison of s23 with iphone 14 Pro. In this comparison iphone 14 Pro is definitely ahead but not by much. S23 should be compared with iphone 14. And in that case s23 will definitely take a win over iphone 14. I am s23 user and so far the experience is amazing. Superb Performance, battery, display, build quality, design. Haven't found any cons , no jitters. Just as smooth as you expect the flagship to be. And particularly the size is just perfect. How funny it is that few years ago 6 inches was among the big phone category but now it falls in the small category.
"In this comparison iphone 14 Pro is definitely ahead but not by much." I agree and disagree. because the same thing can be said of the s23. It's also ahead by not much. It really depends what the user wants. In my case, i'd go with the s23. it conveniently charges any TWS the support wireless charging, has tons of customization, Navigation Gestures from Left and from Right to Left , Split screen, Manual Camera modes, Fast file transfer to Windows.
Yes 6 inches was considered big a few years ago because of the huge bezels, the 6.1" S23 is *SMALLER* than the 5.8" S9, and a lot of people dont seem to understand this thinking the bigger the screen the bigger the phone which is not always true Also yeah this comparision is quite stupid, the 14 Pro is 200$ more expensive than the S23, the direct competition is literally the base 14 !! I think this guy is quite biased
Hello, great video as usual! I'm going with Samsung because I prefer the whole device and ecosystem overall. Oh, and your hair looks really nice in the recent videos, very cool! See you later, take care! Cheers!
Hello everyone, I'm thinking of getting the s22 ultra SD or the s23 256gb, both are new phones. in my country the price is similar, what do you think is a better choice and why?
I hate it. I hate to replace my S10e with the S23 and this phone is garbage all around. If Samsung hadn't f*cked battery life on the S10e with their "updates", I'd be returning this piece of crap and going back to it.
@@___David__ i still have s10e as well (was my main phone before s20fe). My advice is turn on battery save option with reducing processor power to 70%. This will help you manage sh*ty Exynos. My s10e has 4,5 year, was used by my wife till I got s23 (she got my s20fe now😅) and according to Accu battery, battery lost 27% of capacity which is not bad as was charged mainly fast 18watt wired and fast 15watt on original Samsung wireless charger stand to 100% (no battery protection to 85%). Battery in s23 compare to s10e is like night and day. S23 is muuuuuch better phone in almost every aspect (except of microSD slot and jack 3,5mm). Mate, you must getting old if you believe your old phone (s10e) is better than s23. No comparation, sorry
iPhones don’t “just work” I regret upgrading to 14 Pro from 13 Pro. The battery is worse, the cameras are worse (over sharpening and contrast level overdone), and it runs hot. iOS 16 has been buggy. Having said all that, Samsung One UI is trash. I prefer Android overall but I'd rather be on iOS than stuck with Samsung One UI.
just because both phone are 6.1 inch screen, you cannot compare both phone. S23 is base model. and iphone 14 pro is not base model. also, prices are no similar. again bcz of same size u cant compare a 800 dollar phone with 1200 dollar phone. u can only compare s23 ultra with 14 pro or 14 pro max. and S23 base model with iphone 14 base model.
Just checked prices and a comparable storage iPhone 14 pro is 360 to 390 euros more expensive here. Then you can't even sideload apps like Gcam or advert free popular apps. Looks like a clear win for the S23 to me.
Here in Denmark the iPhone 14 pro is right now around 443 dollars more expensive than the Galaxy s23…so the choice is very obvious, we choose the Samsung in a heartbeat.
What about pixel 7 vs 7a? Those 2 seem almost identical in terms of specs and design with the 7 typically selling cheaper despite technically being placed higher 🙂
7 is a great phone, especially for the price, even if 100$ more, buy 7, that being said, it's not even in same league as s23 or 14 pro, 7 pro comes close
the comparison is between the base varient of samsung s series and base varient of iphone pro varient which already shows s23 is way more value for money and yaa no need to talk about the iphone 14 varient
Well the s23 is the basic line and the 14 pro is the advance line in a compact size. The s23 has similarities on camera set up and is much cheaper .. well the samnung is the winner because their basic line phones have the same with set up with iphone pro lines ..
The best phone smart of hands down is the z fold 4. I have an iPhone pro max that's unusable. The os is clunky and work many flaws. From a trillion dollar company just one example is having to switch keyboards to use a comma, wtf. I've asked many people and they say, oh just use voice to text. So you're telling me from a trillion dollar company to use voice text to text... Um, no. Apple os is, for me, inefficient thus making the phone my burner phone😂
I am extremely happy with my galaxy S23. The phone always reminds me how incredible value it offers. And 4 years of software support is unnecessary on android IMO coz android is a complete OS. Theres no limitation or lack of features in android. For the time being, all google can do is to change how the OS looks and feels via yearly android update.
This gen 3 snapdragon is insane. It beats A16 in gaming while being much efficient than the previous gen so even smaller battery phone are viable this year
@@Ravecat27 I think it’s because Samsung competes directly with Apple in many countries so they tailor their options to each other The S23 is meant to be an equivalent to the iPhone 14 as where I am in the US 🇺🇸 they are the same price
Samsung's oversharpening anniys me so much, I'm gonna switch to another brand. Just put a bigger sensor or a higher megapixel count on the telephoto camera. Its a shame that most of the time of the s23's 3x shots look to my eye like they were gained via 3x digital zoom of the main camera when compared to other phones with a 3x telephoto (e.g. the 14 pro, Xiaomi 13 pro, etc).
Those who are looking for reliability I'll tell my story with samsung In 2019 i bought Samsung M30S for i think 16k inr that's around 200 USD I still have that phone. It's working great. I have managed to drop it once in sea(was able to quickly get it out). Still is working fine. This year i bought s23. I couldn't be happier
That's great to hear. I also got a Samsung M31 phone in 2020 I'm still using till today. I'm planning to upgrade to s23 in December. I'm from Sri Lanka
Hello. This comparison is wrong from my sight at least. Samsung Galaxy S23 must be compared with IPhone 14 same category and almost same money. Samsung Galaxy S23 plus is with IPhone 14 Pro or IPhone 14 Pro Max (only difference between them is the screen and the battery). You cant say Samsung Galaxy S23 is cheaper than IPhone 14 Pro so is better. They aren't in the same category. I am not iphone owner i have Samsung Galaxy too (older model) but i think IPhone 14 Pro is a very good choice if you have the ability to buy it and you really use your phone not just for calls. 😁 Have a nice day from me. 😊
S23 is an entry level s series samsung phone, the iphone 14 pro is not an entry level iphone phone. A camera comparison between s23 and iphone 14,not pro, would be a fairer comparison. PS,not being biased because I'm android. Just saying.

So you rather get s23?
@@jokast8861 well I dropped an iPhone 13 pro for it, so yeah, I'd rather get the S23. It's been a really good experience.
I have an n S23 myself. Personally it's the Samsung's iphone version but better.
In India,
iPhone costs 1,20,000
And Galaxy 72,000
Thats a huge difference in price.
Lets take 2 extra years of software support for iPhone and 10 - 15% extra resale value.
Still I will be saving 25,000 on galaxy. Thats quite impressive and with the money left I can get airpods pro 2nd gen 😅
Good work Samsung
Lol Samsung provides 5 years of security updates for flagship models whereas it's 6 years for the iPhones... But majority of ppl won't keep an iPhone for more than 5 years tbh... So no difference...
Or even better you can get galaxy buds 2 pro! They are far better
@@abhishekn9871 Most of the people replaces their phone 1 to 3 years later because the hardware lacks behind even if software is the latest like 4G, 5G, WiFi 5, 6. AMOLED and LCD etc. Some people are still using iphones with LCD displays. Even entry level OLEDs are better than those
Apple really scams Indians damn 😮
In the US 🇺🇸, our premium Galaxies and iPhones are the same price
did anyone ask?
Iphone 14 pro max VS Galaxy s23 ultra is up for debate. But, if we're talking about the basic version, galaxy S23 is definitely better.
168grams vs 206 grams?
Also in India S23 is around 70k and iphone 14 pro 120k.
I’m happier to put the same text in OneNote/Google Keep/Evernote…… and use it even on my windows/Linux PC, not just mac
s23 anyday, once side loading apps and true third party repair becomes available on Iphone, then we'll talk.
In my country 14 pro costs 1280$ and s23 costs 730$ so yeah, easy win for Samsung
In my country 🇺🇸, they are near the same price but I still bought the S23+
hehe in my country its even bigger difference: S23 - 650$ and the 14 pro - 1100$, almost the double...
Sorry Alex, but I absolutely LOVE the colors on Samsung’s S23 series
Camera:
iphone 9/10, s23 8/10
Rest of phone:
S23 10/10, iphone 7/10
Perfect
I couldn't live with the Dynamic Eyesore
Always been a Android person. Have the pixel 5 now love the same phone. But I’m kinda getting board with Android. Been thinking about switch to the iPhone to see if I’ll like it. But I’ve heard nothing but great things about the S23. The S23 maxed out is under $800 the 14 pro base model is $1k I don’t know
S23 is wayyyyy less expensive in my country 😅
Here in Italy, the s23 is around 600-700ish (online price) while iPhone 14 pro is one k at the least.
Not comparable, it's more s23 ultra vs iPhone 14 pro.
1:29 the one on the right is it the 23 or 23 fe?
Samsung phones are always better than iPhones 😂
Iphone oversharp pictures an lack of contrast in certain situations. I think for price S23 is the winner here. I hope Pixel 8 improve temps, finger print scanner and battery life.
For the regular s23 price I think it should be compared to the regular iphone 14. The 14 pro is the pro max just smaller.
Yes 6 inches was considered big a few years ago because of the huge bezels, the 6.1" S23 is *SMALLER* than the 5.8" S9, and a lot of people dont seem to understand this thinking the bigger the screen the bigger the phone which is not always true
Also yeah this comparision is quite stupid, the 14 Pro is 200$ more expensive than the S23, the direct competition is literally the base 14 !! I think this guy is quite biased
After i read your comment, i decided to purchase S23 today 😅
S23 for 55k and 14 pro for 93k ..which one to choose in dubai
Thanks Alex, have a good weekend. Kindest regards, as ALWAYS, Richard U.K
Hello, great video as usual! I'm going with Samsung because I prefer the whole device and ecosystem overall. Oh, and your hair looks really nice in the recent videos, very cool! See you later, take care! Cheers!
738 euro for the Galaxy s23 and 1248 euro for the iPhone pro...do the math...my god there MUST be no question 🙏😂
I have samsung buds, samsung tablet and wimdows pc.... so deffo better get s23?
Hello everyone, I'm thinking of getting the s22 ultra SD or the s23 256gb, both are new phones. in my country the price is similar, what do you think is a better choice and why?
I miss being able to skip songs by holding the volume button
I love my S23 but I still believe main camera should be better. I switched form S20FE5G and ofc I see upgrade but it is not Big Thing 😁
Yeah.. Im right switch from s20fe and this s23 have a lot of bugs... Camera its pitful and lack contraste, no shadow, and bananagate is real
@@___David__ i also had an s10e. It really has a terrible battery life.
iPhones don’t “just work” I regret upgrading to 14 Pro from 13 Pro. The battery is worse, the cameras are worse (over sharpening and contrast level overdone), and it runs hot. iOS 16 has been buggy. Having said all that, Samsung One UI is trash. I prefer Android overall but I'd rather be on iOS than stuck with Samsung One UI.
Why is it trash tho?
Why regret upgrading? And why one ui os trash?
@@jokast8861 I've mentioned why I regret upgrading already. Worse battery and camera etc etc.
@@sorinb2256 Bloated, many redundant apps, confusing/overwhelming, looks dodgy in places, etc etc

Whats your suggestion??
Great video !
a suggestion for your videos, keep iphone on the left and galaxy on the right. you switched a few times and it was hard to follow.
I got tbr s23 and you dont need to click the camera button to take a selfie, just put your hand on the camerw
just because both phone are 6.1 inch screen, you cannot compare both phone.
Hey. What's that weather widget on the s23? 🙏
Standard One UI widget
Just checked prices and a comparable storage iPhone 14 pro is 360 to 390 euros more expensive here. Then you can't even sideload apps like Gcam or advert free popular apps.
Looks like a clear win for the S23 to me.
S23 vs 13 Mini 14 Pro vs s23+ Wepaaaaa🎉
Here in Denmark the iPhone 14 pro is right now around 443 dollars more expensive than the Galaxy s23…so the choice is very obvious, we choose the Samsung in a heartbeat.
What about pixel 7 vs 7a? Those 2 seem almost identical in terms of specs and design with the 7 typically selling cheaper despite technically being placed higher 🙂
7 is a great phone, especially for the price, even if 100$ more, buy 7, that being said, it's not even in same league as s23 or 14 pro, 7 pro comes close
How is this even a fair comparison? Compare the Pro with S23 Plus.
S23 is great and the Iphone 14 Pro is clearly overrated.
the comparison is between the base varient of samsung s series and base varient of iphone pro varient which already shows s23 is way more value for money and yaa no need to talk about the iphone 14 varient
shouldn't you compare the ultra instead of the standard s23 ?
Well the s23 is the basic line and the 14 pro is the advance line in a compact size. The s23 has similarities on camera set up and is much cheaper .. well the samnung is the winner because their basic line phones have the same with set up with iphone pro lines ..
Wrong comparison..... should be iPhone 14 not pro... price is the key.
But if its not pro, for sure s23 would win
Iphone 14 is a joke with a 60hz screen. I prefer my 4 year old samsung s10 over the iphone 14.
It beats A16 in gaming while being much efficient than the previous gen so even smaller battery phone are viable this year
the only bad thing on the s23 for me are the 6.1 inch display, to small, the a54 has even 0.3 inch more, why the more expensive not?
That’s why I got the S23+. It was pricy but worth it
@@thomasbiers5673 tbh, for that price for the s23, there should be a minimum of a 6.4 inch display, I think I still safe my money for the plus model.
@@Ravecat27 I think it’s because Samsung competes directly with Apple in many countries so they tailor their options to each other
The S23 is meant to be an equivalent to the iPhone 14 as where I am in the US 🇺🇸 they are the same price
@@thomasbiers5673 this makes sense
I prefer 6.1 over 6.4 inch
S23 is my choice!!!
Finally compare the comparable!!
Hey.... Man 🌼.
Please 🙏 do make an individual review of s23 ..

I got them both
Aren't u supposed to compare with s23 plus
S23 plus is s23 but plus 😂
Anyday S23 ❤️
Have a nice day from me. 😊
"OF COURSE S23 IS BETTER "
S23 is an entry level s series samsung phone, the iphone 14 pro is not an entry level iphone phone.
A camera comparison between s23 and iphone 14,not pro, would be a fairer comparison.
PS,not being biased because I'm android.
Just saying.
but then s23 is definitely winner u see
I would always go with S23❤
