Best pot to put this banana tree in is just an all plastic laundry basket. The ones with no holes. That hold like 20 to 30 gallons. Put straight miracle grow soil in it and plant your tree in it. I have one of these trees, it's 3 months old now and is over 4 foot tall already. I live in Delaware where we only get a few months of really warm weather. So when it hits September to October I will be bringing the tree Inside to continue to grow. If not, you will have to cut the tree and put straw all on top of it to keep it from freezing so it will re grow next year. I don't want to cut the tree during winter so I am bringing it inside.
