For reference, I dry fired a brand new one tonight 188 times with a daisy 12g co2 cartridge before it ran out of co2. 20 of those 188 were hollow point pellets. It began to taper off around the 175th time. (This was just an estimate) as I was curious to how many rounds I could potentially shoot from one co2 cartridge.
Great review. Got mine a couple months ago. Not mechanical at all. RUclips to the rescue when I got jammed. Learned how to field strip it and clear the clog. Proud of myself...I tell the wife how stupid I am and she gets pissed at me for lack of self-confidence. RUclips makes me feel like a real man. Thanks you for this review and RUclips for keeping me out off the shrink's couch. Oh, yeah, mine shoots great, the gun that is. Hat's off to Sig! It's nice (and rare) when you get your money's worth.
Great Review, I Was impressed as all the information I sought was all compressed into this rather entertaining and calming review. I’ve watched 3 before this and I’m trying to compare all the firearm components to the co2 gun and I was able to see everything. All in all Great Review from Canada!!!
Get an aluminium tig welding rod from a local Fabricators... Great for knocking pellets back down a barrel for those occasions where you fuck up loading or the odd small pellet falls where it shouldn't!
Great pellet gun. It is fun to shoot and looks good. I found that you cannot use pointed Gamo pellets-they won't fit in the magazine. It works great within Sig ammo but I had problems with other brands of pellets jamming. Easy to take down and make sure to buy Sig pellets when you buy the gun.
I just ordered one right from Sig. I have not seen any bad reviews only good, I have also heard that they are made in Japan so the quality is there. A lot cheaper to plink with than my real Sig P320 Compact in 9mm.
I just got mine today. So far, it jams a lot, but is fine otherwise. The pellets I've used so far seem to be very tight in the magazine. Perhaps I can find some that are a bit looser. I think that would help. I tried Crosman wadcutters and RWS superdomes. I quit at 70 shots on the first co2 caplet. I am impressed by the accuracy and overall feel.
@4:20, When I loaded mine for the 1st time I did the same thing!! lmao. Glad to know I'm not the only stupid one. It also shot a pellet out of the magazine when it happened, not really shot out of it, but it did eject one. Next co2 I closed it a little more forcefully and it closed fine.
Me and my bro have one each, had them for two years now. Had various problems with both. Bro had to have a new trigger release spring fitted, took 10 weeks. Then the same happened to mine, this weekend. Oh forgot, I had mine exchanged for a new one, after one week. Kept jamming. So this is my second one.
I REPLACING MY CO2 NOW ON SIG 19,99 IF NOT OUT ORDER MAY 4 I GETTING NEW MAGIZNE, IT O RINGS YOU CAM REPLACE BUT PAIN IN ASS POPPING OUT PINS JUST GET TO CO2 THING I ENDED UP BREAKING IT LOL so i bought mcx and waiting on 2 clips for my 17
I bought this gun last month. I have a softair M17 at home. This one is good to dismount, and I can save it with the save lever. The new M17 I've bought, I can move the save lever, but I can move the shot lever all the time in both positions of the Safe = safe and unsafe?. Can somebody helps me with information 🤔
I bought one last weekend, it's really fun! I think Sig has cracked reliable backyard plinkers with this one actually, these "belt fed" CO2 pellet ones always jam. So Sig it looks like got the Japanese Licenced Replica manufacturer construct it so that when it does jam, And It Will, you can strip and clear it with just a .177" cleaning rod. The barrel even comes out at the push of a button, and the combined magazine design is really clever and well thought through. And the accuracy isn't bad by CO2 .177" standards. After all Sig Sauer don't want their name and trademark on something that's too crap, even if it is a made in Japan replica made out of erm... Well, I won't say, (15:55). ;) So yeah, newest top notch tin can destroyer and thing to fiddle with.
rpm. rapid pellet magazine. According to Sig. I have 600 rounds on mine with only 1 jam. Great video! Also you can remove outer barrel and inner barrel like airsoft platforms.
I have the real one and the CO2 version, because 9mm ammo and range time is expensive. The pellet one, I can shoot in my garage, for pennies on the dollar. 😂
I’ve had mine for about a month now I’ve sent probably 100+ pellets though it, and for some reason the trigger sticks sometimes where I have to cock the slide back for it to go back in place. Have you had the same problems?
That looks like a really good back garden fun gun. My daughters have already got an air rifle range set up in our back garden and I was looking for a couple of pistols for them. However, I think two of these might be out of my price range because I bought them shotguns not long ago! Any ideas on a reliable cheaper blow back?
The Max Michel 1911 is a great back garden plinker in 4.5mm steel bb`s (also sig sauer) i prefer the max michel to my Umarex Beretta 92fs .... there i said it :) my next pistol is the Sig Sauer x five ... nice !
@@grayisdabest Depends if he wants a gun for fun, or a gun that can actually hit a target. If he has an air rifle range, I'm not sure he'd be happy with a BB gun as they're generally pretty inaccurate compared to pellet guns. Generally, blow back pellet guns are also more inaccurate than pellet guns without - but a lot more fun. I think one of the most accurate pellet pistols I've owned however, was the (now discontinued) Umarex Desert Eagle blow back pellet gun. However, it wasn't exactly designed like these, and the entire slide didn't blow back (I believe the barrel was fixed like a traditional pellet gun, and only a portion of the slide blew back to give a kick). Though, they were even a lot more than this Sig ...
They should make a kolibri but make tiny 3mm brocock tad air cartridges for it and make it shoot like no12 splitshot or 2.5mms proper tight bullets make it from aluminium so you can't make it live fire I too like battle field v and it made me well want one lol there so smaller I say there cute
It's NOT a good rep though is it? No fake ejector, ejection port not cut low enough on the rhs. The frame on the RS is a nice matt finish. This looks shiny and plasticky.
I personally think the average user ever gets up to those kind of fps rates. But I think someone came quite close to it with some expensive light weight pellet type
The co2 consumption seems to be quite alike the X-Five. But what I like about this pistol is that it's slide spring is on a recoil rod and not around the barrel. The springs around the barrel are quite usually quite weak - and hard to find replacement springs for, as on the X-Five. Seemingly the UK got these first in Europe. Or maybe Highland Outdoors was the only company in the UK that got these?😂 Have not seen of these for sale on German websites. Though, Norway and Sweden has also gotten of these. No M17s in Finland yet..
Hi! First of all, thanks for this video! I got some questions: is this an Umarex brand replica?? If not who made this? Does it exists in black?? And in 6mms? If some one can awser to these questions please do it so. I really would love to know! I would love to buy one or two for myself, and then maybe some for resell! 1000 thanks!
I have both (uk) so can confirm it/they do exist ,i have the .177bb glock 17 blowback version but i am selling that because i feel the sig m17 is the much better pistol, nice feel nice weight and is in my opinion a lot better regarding quality/materials than the umerex glock pistol. Just my honest opinion of the two pistols. I have been waiting for the glock to arrive for a while and it was actually disappointing as the first release of the 19 non blowback showed good promise.
I genuinely pity your lack of freedom for responsible citizens to own firearms. I can drive to one of my local dealers right now and buy a real P320 M17 and all the ammo I can afford in less than an hour, and be enjoying it at one of many ranges on the way home.

that’s pretty damn good no???
Congratulations on the review. I own the same gun and I am very satisfied. Greetings from Serbia.
You do know if you pull the slide back and slightly pull the trigger the slide will stay locked back .

I made the purchase and couldn't be happier. Very sweet. Excellent customer service at Sig Sauer as well. LFOD_NH
I purchased one of these pellet pistols. I'm very happy with it.
Get an aluminium tig welding rod from a local Fabricators... Great for knocking pellets back down a barrel for those occasions where you fuck up loading or the odd small pellet falls where it shouldn't!
I remember the good old days down the range, no more alas in the UK.
Cool review, subscribed🇬🇧👍
There is still plenty of cool kit to be had tho...👍
Great pellet gun. It is fun to shoot and looks good. I found that you cannot use pointed Gamo pellets-they won't fit in the magazine. It works great within Sig ammo but I had problems with other brands of pellets jamming. Easy to take down and make sure to buy Sig pellets when you buy the gun.

Lol had the same thing happen to my first CO2 cartridge. It did not fly out but I knew what I had done chucked the mag.
I own the m17 p320 pistol, you can disassemble it for cleaning. Which is great.
Awesome review

gone rydin you have to line up a pellet in the center window before inserting in gun. I've fired 520 rounds with only one jam
Use flat head pellets and centralise the mag before you insert it guys

I’ve had mine for less then 2 months and my mag leaks CO2 out of the top of the valve.... not happy.....

Square button on top allows you to take out the barrel assembly.
Old but good review, RPM, maybe Rounds Per Magazine ?
how many joules? all u said basically was "nice box"
Maybe RPM means rotating pellet magazine?
Any tips my trigger is stuck and not cycling the next round? Could it have to do with the co2
Just ordered one
Should I go with Emperor scorpion or this M17?
rpm. rapid pellet magazine. According to Sig. I have 600 rounds on mine with only 1 jam. Great video! Also you can remove outer barrel and inner barrel like airsoft platforms.
Would be nice to add a sig to the umarex collection, does this have the ratling slide like some co2 pistols?
I wonder if you can change slides with the p226
Can you break down?
Just got one yesterday and me amd my 2 boys have been having a blast we love it😊
You keep on forgetting camera focus is different from your eye level focus.
I have the real one and the CO2 version, because 9mm ammo and range time is expensive. The pellet one, I can shoot in my garage, for pennies on the dollar. 😂
Yessss
Is there a upgrade kit for this??
This gun has a big problem with the co2 leaking.
The barrel and spring also strip down.
I’ve had mine for about a month now I’ve sent probably 100+ pellets though it, and for some reason the trigger sticks sometimes where I have to cock the slide back for it to go back in place. Have you had the same problems?
Yer high bro... don't worry about getting it back together. LOL im right there with ya!
Nice🥊
Have you tried the SIG P226?

can it handle a pointed pellet like a H&N hornet? My Beretta cannot :o(
i dont like co2 guns i never get through a co2 bulb and i dont like leaving them in

Then you dont shoot enough.

could you please give us the reference number please ? ty

Do you think its 420fps ? I cant find any chronograph review
Hard to tell mate, I need to do that in doors at a decent temperature.
@@racknload oh I see, thanks mate!
If you use sig sauer allow wadcutter pellets you should get the manufacturer's FPS. HAM magazine has a nice review.

Can you purchase the magazines separately?
Yes, both the plastic belt fed part and the Co2 part are available separately.
Is there a slide lock?
MrKratosYT yeah 1:03 is a good view of it
Negative, slide catch levers are screwed in and non functional.
R WM thank you
Its strange seeing someone firing a pistol with their right hand and aiming from their left eye, but hey if it works for you why change it.
I'm a lefty but shoot pistol right handed buuut I'm left eye dominant..
Me too I am right handed but my left eye is 20/20
Watch hickok45 shoot. It's not uncommon at all.
@@gonerydin4225 I'm the same way too
I do the same thing it has to do with eye dominance he is probably right handed but left eye dominant

How's your buggy game
Any thoughts on how this stacks up against the P320? Apart from the mag arrangement, this looks really similar.
drengskap Not even close new improved design on M 17.You have to read manuel because of details on pellet mag and field stripping
What is better:
sig p320
sig p320 m17
Stachu-k1A M17 hands down. You can also remove outer and inner barrel
Horrid magazine design looses air /gas each time the magazine is released
RPM = (see below)
Also it looks like after the blowback it stays in double action ? can you confirm this thanks.
I`m saving for the Sig X Five :)
RPM= rotary pellet magazine?
of course ... i`m a turnip for that one haha, cheers Kevin.
@Ray H. so it's a 20 round, rounds per magazine, magazine? Well, that makes perfect sense.
@Ray H. The way they printed the box is rather comical, but then again, they are made in Japan.
Yeah your narrative voice works..but your videos should include range results and fps info...thats why people come here
Nah usually you can split the 2. Range and FPS means nothing to me if the gun dosn't work well
Nice pistol
Still any good mate ? I’m thinking of getting one . Cheers.
