CO2 mags are way way better for this gun. With CO2 this is the loudest and hardest kicking airsoft pistol I've ever used. Its so much fun. And you also don't need the hop tool. You can just pull the slide back a little bit and turn the dial with your hand. Its very convenient. My only criticisms with the gun are 2 small issues. The plastic base plate on the mags are very easy to snap off if you drop them on a hard surface, but I was able to solve that with a little strip of black duct tape across the back to hold it in place. The other issue is they use a strange threading size for the end of the barrel and it makes it impossible to put any attachments there. Not that that will matter for everyone. I just feel if you're going to put threading on the barrel, why not make it the universal size. Seemed silly. But this is still my go to and favorite pistol.
No I’ve not had any of that, but I had to replace the fill valves on my mags as they all failed. Tbf I don’t use it as my only pistol and only use green gas. I head there have been problems with the CO2 users.
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT i recently bought a co2 version as a cabinet piece , but i do some plinking once in a while. I guess ill buy a greengas mag then. Thanks for the tip.
The difference will be night and day when it comes to the WE version. It’s the case with a lot of their pistols when compared to VFC and Especially KWC versions like the M9 and 1911. KWC also makes the Sig 1911. The WE 1911 have terrible non captured guide rods that cause them to all fail repeatedly. Id suspect as nice as you’re saying that Sig version is,there’s no way the WE will compete.

i do think you're wrong, i was told the M18 is the civilian version which has a shorter mag and a shorter barrel. as far as i'm aware it has nothing to do with colour.
The M18 and m17 are both military. This handgun was originally based off of the p320 which came out way before the military adopted it as the new side arm.
I tried the WE version and it was terrible, low FPS, leaky mags (I bought 4 and they were all terrible, even with a healthy dose of Abbey Predator Maintenance Gas), awful gas consumption (1 1/2 mags) wobbly barrel and terrible accuracy, it felt like junk too, just cheap and tacky feeling. I took it back and got a Hudson H9 instead. Some people hate the H9, but mine is great, it has an 11mm CW inner threaded barrel so one of my Xcortech XT301 micro tracer unit is a perfect fit and works great, you just need to get used to the H9 trigger though, the break and reset is great once you get the feel for it.
Dawnrazor Tactical the Hudson really is a Marmite gun. I’ve actually used one a couple of times, and the only odd thing is having to place you finger in the right place on the trigger. One you get used to it, it’s fine.
Where can you get these from in the uk? Somewhere that’s not ridiculously overpriced. Patrolbase had them at £150ish but don’t seem to stock them anymore. Only other place I’ve found them they want £190. Which is pretty much on AEG pricing in my opinion I do really want one but don’t have that amount of cash to part with for a pistol. I want one of these though with the official branding. Thanks for any help.
lee robinson I got mine from Davies Custom Airsoft. Tbf they are not a cheap pistol and I see they are £190 there. The mags are also £50 so it’s not a cheap venture owning one of these.
Mark Greenway I got it from Dave’s Custom Airsoft in the UK. I think it was literally the only one. I had to order spare mags from HK but they were £50 each!
@@BIGBIRDSAIRSOFT yes i seen them on there i didn't have the spare cash back then and no spare mags put me off as well. Love the contents you doing i hope you get more subs
I JB welded a 12mm (I think) to 14mm adapter into the barrel. The adapter wanted to fit but the thread space on the outer barrel is something special. Still I forced it to thread and after I could loosen it I JB welded it in making sure it was dead center and it's been working great so far. Outer barrel also removes just fine from the slide when breaking down gun. If sig decides to release an official adapter I'll probably just buy a new outer barrel and use that, but until then I can at least use a tracer/barrel extension.
@@gangsterHOTLINE I was going to remove the out barrel off the hop up and inner barrel.. but worried about breaking it lol . The plastic orange tip broke when I heated it up. Forgot it was cw to loosen ugh. Ordered new pistol. Then I'll fuck with original
I’ve got one of them the other day from JD Airsoft and it broke on 2nd mag! It wouldn’t fully blow back into place to load the next bb, I had to push the slide back into start position. On the next reload it completely stopped loading bb’s up into the chamber. Now after filing the mag up with green gas or using the mag with co2 itcreleases all the gas within first shot. To me it looks like there is something wrong with the loading nozzle. I’m in the process of returning it back to JD.
Funny thing is, mine did that last week, after being on the shelf for a few months. I put a few drops of silicon oil in to the mag valve and now it’s all fine again. It sounds like you might have a different problem if the CO2 mag is doing it too though. Hope they sort it for you. 👍
This By Far Has To Be The Best Review For An Airsoft Gun.

Gas has to lube the seals might take a couple fills before it settles in and holds the gas fully
Hello. How’s your M17 holding up so far? Still working? A lot of reviews out there about slide cracking and breaking nozzle. Experienced any of these?

What ive seen on youtube the main different between the P320 and the M17 is that one does not a safety lever just a decocking
The main difference is that the p320 is a civilian gun and the M17 is for the military.
Very nice! 👍🏻
I might be wrong, but I think the "M" stands for model, and not mark. I think mark is more of a british thing and model is american

The threads are special and you would have to 3d print an adapter because no one sells them.

Should i get this or a glock
if u haven't decided yet get this that's just my opinion
The mag release is ambi, you have to take a pin or something and swap it to the other side. If you’re having trouble this is RUclips after all.
