Wow, it sounds super mean! Resembles the Ducati Twin Engine when its idling, but while cruising we can hear the inline 3 of the CP3 super well, and it even shoots flames hahaha. Nice video and exhaust dude!
Thanks its definitely rowdy fits the bikes attitude well! It's pretty loud though I'm gonna see if they will sell the hp3 slip on separate for the warmer months when I commute on the bike.
I just installed a dominator ex gp and omg is it loud but it sounds great. I have a med baffle in mine now and might get the next baffle up to calm the db’s down a bit more. These seem to be great exhaust systems for the money so far!
Yea definitely loud, I'm looking at adding a hp3 muffler and maybe baffle next summer for commuting
Where do you find a baffle for this exhaust?

2023 XSR900 here, Just got the Dominator HP3 with the dual cans and DB Killer. Long Tubes make power, shorties not so much. If it's too quiet, I can take out the Killer. Lovely pipes, still mostly up under. Vcyclenut tune coming! Saves quite a bit of weight over the stock setup. Two cylinders just sounds thumpy to me.. this CP3 Loves to wind up.. Thinking a few teeth next since 120 MPH is about my limit, hate to leave the sauce on the table.
Is it possible to fit another dominator muffler on the same headers/midpipe? i would like to easily switch between quiet and loud and that would be a convenient way
I believe so they told me I could buy the hp3 muffler and mount the GP won't work

Is this considered bolt on or do you need to do a retune after installed??
I think you can run it untuned but Its really recommend to tune these bikes with aftermarket exhaust I have a 2 wheel Dynoworks tune now

How to you deal with the loud sounds? You wear earplugs?
I changed to the GP muffler now but with my agv I have ear buds spliced into the comms instead of speakers because the helmet is really loud so that blocks alot out
You should put a video for it. I love the sound of gp3 but I felt like it’s too much.

@@ZxDanAsh the wires are just ran out the front with the mic with enough slack to put the buds in with the helmet sitting on my seat

What do you mean? As in for tune? It's the Yoshi map off their site, till I get it Dyno tuned
@@jrm15082 yeah tuning. I didn't realised that there are maps already for 2021 model. Can you post back when you will have it dyno tuned? Really wanna know how it changes the bike ;)

Im not sure if u did a ecu tune but i noticed that the 2021 mt09 has way less pops and bangs with an open system on it compared to the older gen mt09s they would pop and bang like crazy with a decat system.
I had a power commander v on in this video just got my ecu back from 2wdw and under 3k on decel it will pop and crackle a lot now but not really above that
I had mine fully tuned with this exhaust and the DNA air filter. Feels like there’s a lot more torque and the throttle is a lot smoother at low RPM range. One thing is it now pops lie crazy when at low RPM. For example, when engine braking at 3rd gear 32 mph, the pops are loud as hell. I like it though and I love the exhaust.

Are you referring to a dB killer/ baffle? The gp3 isn't available with one

Sounds nice, but I think I prefer my akrapovic race.. hard to tell on video. But I think akrapovic is deeper sound 👍👍
It probably is deeper but I didn't like the look of the akra. I added a eBay sc project style muffler to this instead of the cone and now it is deeper. I'll have to make a new video
