I don’t have this figure but that’s a great fix for it… This makes me wish that SHF would give us extra pegs, I know they never do but I wish they would especially for the price point that they charge for their figures. I have the 004 Amazing Spiderman 2 Mafex figure and the wrist peg broke on it. The figma and revoltech joints work perfectly for the hand, but the peg inside the arm was a bit thicker. Do you know of any joints that could possibly work for that situation or is there a way to tighten up the area around a figma joint to make sure it stays in?
Hi can you help me, I got Mafex Spiderman into spider verse , but the leg got broken, it totally broke and separate, between knee and lower leg. Any suggestion if it can be fixed.
This isn’t really the same, but I got a knockoff comic book MAFEX Spider-Man and both hand joints broke. I found a good sized wire that fit snug into the hand holes and then I drilled those into the broken joints. I lost the articulation in the wrists but as of now they’re good. Now I just need to take care of the arm ball joints, they keep popping out!
Wow wtf is wrong with Mafex. Love their figures and only have a few but seeing that peg and how it was made it is like they want you to break the thing. Honestly why in the world would they have half the pg cut in half from the ball itself. Absolutely no reason for it. Would say it was a faulty mold piece but to see all of em like that guessing they were designed for it wow that makes me actually mad for the price we pay for these. Even though I to am at fault for this cause I do buy these more expensive figures but it does Make one salty that We can buy a $20 figure and beat the heck out of it and it doesn’t break yet spend $80, $100 plus on some of these other brands figures cause they are sculpted so well yet their QC (quality control) is flat out terrible a lot of the times. That I’m afraid half the time to even pose these things and that’s even after taken the time to do precautions like warming the joints etc.... yet I keep buying these figures cause they look so awesome yet the Joints are either to tight, to flimsy, painted over and stuck or just made to break it seems.

You mean the revoltech joint is thicker so it can't get into the arm?

Can shfiguarts joint work? The shf spiderman home coming ones does it work? (For mafex spiderman comic ver 075)
I don't think so, SHF joints are much bigger as compared to Mafex.

075 Spider-Man has a slightly larger joint if not mistaken.

You can try to apply some nail polishing on the joint to tighten it.

The Quality of pegs Mafex are very Bad. My figure new brokes both pegs of the hands. Later the two pegs of the kness also.
