So i had these problems with both joints. I didnt use this VERY GOOD METHOD but what I did was actually sort of drill through the stuck piece and added a revoltech joint which I trimmed a bit down to fit the hands and it's actually solid. But I really would like to get these as some of the revoltech joints hold better than others with different hands. I was stressing on the hands bc both were broken and I had just spent 120 on the figure lmao. Cheers mate, will def see me buying a pair!

Satisfied customer here. My mafex Spidey wrist broke, I searched for a solution on Google and found this. Ordered a set, followed instructions and my Spider-Man is back to being whole again. Thank you so much for providing these instructions and repair kits! It’s been a life saver in this instance for me.

Hey Dexter, thank you so much for making these. I have a suggestion. You know how on the new mafex figures, they have those little trees that the hands are on? Would it be possible for you in the next batch to include something like that, this way we could stretch the hand out before placing it on the peg?

My left wrist joint broke and your replacement joints are sold out unfortunately (;-;) BUT luckily I found the peg that snapped off on my floor so now I’ll just have to glue it

Do your replacement wrist joints fit SH Figuart wrist/hand molds? Also, i noticed they only come in red. If i paint them white will they become stiff? Thanks and great video.

Damn I've been waiting for this I don't even have a mafex but I always wonder put a little bit of customizing can you use the old Halo ratchet joints and put it in Spider-Man's to make them have wrist joints and make the hands a little bigger so it can fit in because the joints are a little more bigger I don't know for me and might be a good idea but who knows keep up the great work

i broke my mafex 092 miles morales, is there a replacement for it ?
I actually haven't had this issue lol,it's definitely the most prominent but has anyone had an issue with his left hip (doesn't connect to the leg and just falls off)

Dude this is awesome. I just got a good deal on my first Mafex figure. It happens to be this Spider-Man, and it was cheaper due to a broken wrist peg. I was happy to find this video, but your store says they’re out of stock.

also just use a higher F stop for tutorial videos like this. It's kind of hard to follow when it's out of focus every 2 seconds or so.

i bought a pack and they were a bit loose so i added kiki to make them more stable, left them alone and next day when i tried to articulate them broke, only have one left lol bought another pack , dont use kiki or if you do dont leave them overnight. i wish they were made out of stronger plastic but thank you for making them Dstar🙏
Was it loose for the hand or the forearm? I include putty for hand looseness because the original had inconsistent sockets for the hands

Not sure. The last batch was with a different resin and a lot of them were really weak. I need the 1st resin I used but it is currently not being made anymore.
@@dstar01 yes I noticed, i was one that got that last batch and they started crumbling on me like a lollipop but im not here to bash u on it just wanted to see about maybe another batch possibly when it would be up but hey love your vids and ur work so i guess in meantime will patiently wait

Also another reason they break is because after warming a tight hand and placing it on the peg after it cools it gets super tight to rotate and it twists the neck right off the joint

A little bit of olive oil or baby oil or even Vaseline in the wrist socket will also help get that broken ball joint out easier too
